Day of Frustration But Fun Too

I finished grooming at 8 tonight then I am having fits with trying to change my lightroom catalog to another drive as I am out of room.

Chester guy came. Amy, Rocky, Benny, Harlow and Tchibo departed. They are already missed! Mabel from Saffron is playing like crazy. It's so fun to watch her and Coco.

It was HOT HOT HOT and I stepped in the pool between groomings. Later on a few went swimming. I took photos.

Tomorrow Vivi is coming. So fun!!!

Hot, Muggy and Lazing

Something about feeling like 40c this week. It sure feels muggy today. That's okay. Better than rain? Not if you do not have air. Thankfully we do or the dogs would be revolting. I am so thankful for air.

Hugo and Ali departed. Theo and Panda will depart after dinner. Diamond gal already left and Nathan was coveting her at nap time. They came a bit early and I looked at them strange and they said Diamond. I knew Diamond but went they are early. LOL If I owned her, I would come early too. We so feel that way with all but something delicious about pups.  Murphy gal departed a bit ago. Miss Coco comes tonight. I wonder how she will play with Mabel.

I feel so lucky to have the adults visiting us that we have not seen in forever. I feel as if we are in dig heaven and that's a wonderful thing to be in!

Looking outside it looks like rain and it is a feel like 93f 33c. I did manage to get a swim in. None of the dogs went in.

My weeds are growing and I DO NOT CARE. The dogs like to bark at the neighbours behind us so we are refocusing them. It just started so we are being super diligent. It is working or maybe it's Nathan's evil eye. Just teasing. Of course it doesn't help that the neighbour makes noises at them so we did ask them to stop. Why do people do silly things?

I had a friend suggest arthritis cold gloves. Trying to research. Don't want another gimmick.

I think I will finish a class that I should have started 6 weeks ago - seriously and now I am being asked when I am beginning. LOL I guess today. It is only an hour class.

When it rains outside, the play starts up inside. The dogs are having fun. Me, not so much.

Tomorrow we have a number of dogs departing. Monday a couple of more. I can't comb out anyone before departing. Nathan will have to. My hand is in rough shape all the way up my arm.

The dogs here are happy its a no groom day. LOL

Hello Darlah and Nathan,

I can’t believe our fur baby Beau is 3 today.  He is a happy happy bundle of fun and just loves his human brothers and sisters.  

Beau wants to say Happy "Beau day" (hehe) to his fur brothers and sisters Echo, Louis, Ollie, Cocoa and Maddi.  Big wet kisses to Mama Let and Papa Stone.  Big wet kisses to Darlah and Nathan too for letting me go to a family that loves me and cuddles with me when there’s thunderstorm and fireworks. 

I hope to be able to visit soon.

Okay, smell you later.  I’m going to enjoy my pupcake.

Oh the Fun of the Hot

This is Alfie. He was over for a play and spruce up. Isn't he adorable? He had a toptal blast with his sister and his mother, Misty.

Theo, Panda and Murphy arrived. Never did get in the pool. Harlow and Benny have such a passion for food - Remy too. Nathan had salmon and they jumped straight up in hopes that they could get it.

Dogs are really enjoying each other and tv always is the best.

For some reason Dennis didn't do a run session outside. He mumbled its too hot. Maybe he needs to do it in the halls upstairs. The dogs enjoy it so. Plus it tuckers them out.

Tuesday and Wednesday are my non groom days from this week on. Weekends are too busy so I am being proactive for my hands and well everyone needs some down time.

Better Late Than Never

Oh my gad the food was to die for and I think I gained 20 pounds.

We have a great bunch here today. Maui and Nava was here for the day. Benny, Remy, Ty and Diamond are here. Diamond and her canine mom Misty are stuck like glue. They are having an amazing time.You will see a few photos in the gallery.

We may br expecting Alfie. I haven't heard. Panda and Theo are coming. We are going to have a great weekend and hoping to get some in the pool. Finally some great weather.

Was a fUN dAY

Coco was here and had a blast. We are so lucky to see the puppies. Diamond arrives tomorrow. Also, Maui and Nava come for a spruce up and play for the day. Remy and Ty also arrive. Remy we haven't seen for quite a long time so that will be good.

I had a day off and it was nice. My hands are in such a state that they tingle and I can't hold anything but I decided if I am going to get demattings then IO will be taking 2 days off mid week each week so I can play recovery. I can't do it thsi week but Tuesday and Wednesday next week is designated as a no groom day till the hand calms down. I had a break from it being so bad and then too many demattings. So, I am being proactive.

I went into the pool by myself and floated on a raft. I sat outside on the couch with dogs and enjoyed the weather. We also did boring stuff and that always happens when I don't go out on days off. LOL We went to Rens to get pads. We went to Globals to get dog food. We went to brunos for food. We also went to Canadian Tire for pool salt and metal straws as I am tired of paper ones flattening. Now I am blogging and the day is almost over.

The dogs are in the tv room chilling with Nathan. Dennis is setting up his VR machine in my office as the dogs keep trying to eat the cord. Dennis got a VR machine a few years back for the holidays and he still uses it.

So It Didn't Feel Hot

It was Dennis day off so not much in gallery. I was a slacker. I did try to go in the pool but water felt cold and no energy to trily go see if it was really warm as it didn't feel that way. Nathan insisted it was. We shall see tomorrow.

My hand is in rough shape so tomorrow it gets rested. I have dematted too many. I don't care if the dogs look like they went through a car wash. LOL

It's quieter now that the holiday weekend is over. Benny and Chester departed. Always missed.

Dogs did a lot of lounging and I sat with them while Nathan napped. We enjoyed each others company. Someone asked why I have the couch blocked off with an xpen. Well a visitor thought he would christen it a number of times so it remains up and will remain up till it goes away.

Last of the Long Weekend

Tchibo loves to laze on the outdoor couch with me, So does Saffron and Willow. Sometimes Truffie will. It was a lazy but not quite hot day. Many departed. Benny departs tomorrow. So does Chester. Chester's dad is caught at the border getting a PCR test. Joy...

Tomorrow is sun and heat - hooray - finally. I had an incredibly full day of grooming. It's been like that for days. I am starting at 7am. I did get to go outdoors and sit on the outdoor couch and suddenly I am sniffling, eyes watering - oh summer allergies. I come in with air and I am good again. Allergies are new to me the last few years.

The dogs really enjoyed today and ate hearty this evening with steak added in.

I am trashed so a recliner is calling my name.

mY bED

Harlow is a riot. She is looking down at Buddy saying this is MY spot and she does claim this spot. Never a growl - simply a look. She is a riot.

Ms. Bailey departed early this morning. Thunder departed just now and Maddie will be going shortly. Tomorrow everyone leaves except Hugo, Ali, Harlow, Benny and Tchibo. Benny departs on Tuesday. Lots of baths tomorrow and Tchibo this week is getting a clean up. He needs it. I comb him out and he looks like he has been playing hard and he is.

It's cool outside. I groomed all day. What's new. Thursday we are supposed to go to Ronnie's home and I vow that I am but I keep getting requests for grooming. But as Elana is going away, I can't change the date. So rest assured, we will be there with a couple of dogs. I will groom till we go. :-)

The dogs that are here are truly having an outstanding time. They seem to like this cool weather. I keep wondering when I can use the pool. I am tured of spring like weather.

I find myself crawling out of bed tired. Last night Ella fell in the pool for the last time before bed outside time so guess what I did from 10 to 1130? A few days before that Nami did the same and I had to do the same. I told Nathan he best be careful as the next one is his. I rather mean that as 6 hours sleep in a night with my work schedule doesn't work.

We shall see what tonight brings.

Long Weekend Weather Fun

Rain, rain, groom, groom but dancing, wrestling fun was had. I had to delay 2 grooms till Tuesday as I ran out of time.

We have sticky seeds on a weed that Dennis is feverishly pulling out. You see they are in the hair on teh dogs and guess who has to remove them and it's NOT easy. Poor Benji had them throughout his coat as while Dennis was pulling, he kept trying to figure out what he was doing. I had a fun time these last 2 days but come Wednesday I am OFF. I mat stay in bed all day. Now that would be crazy but I need to do something fun. Sleeping all day is NOT fun. lOL Give me a dog or 2.. well then...

We had Brewer for the 1st time since he moved and it was great to see him. He walked in - well almost ran in excited beyond imagination. It was fun to see.

As it is busy, I have been grooming a great deal and will all this weekend. So blogs will be mostly photos - if that is okay.

Everyone is having a total blast. Frannie and Rocky depart today. A number arrived.

Tomorrow Benji (not wee pup) Bailey and Bailey - yes 2 Bailey's depart. Tuesday quiet times again.

Start of Long Weekend

It's been a day. I had a lot of grooming same all weekend but we had pups and they si was full if it. I had to dry 2 of the pups 3 times as they, after they were groomed played in the water bowls. I finally pick up the water 20 minutes before they departed so they looked like they were groomed. I did upload a few videos of their play.

I think I have Daisy's collar - argh.

All the adults have a tight fit. They all enjoy each other. Ollie departed. So did Coco, Daisy, Pepper and Vivi. Ringo departs tomorrow. He truly likes the dogs that are here. I swear I catch him smiling.

Today Tchibo looked at me as if to say really you are coming me out again? It has been a great day after the rain stopped. No swimming but a great day!

Oh the Conversations

I brush Tchibo out and this is how he ends up with the gals. Can you think up a caption? I look at this photo and I think Chloe is saying - he's mine. LOL

As this is a long weekend, we are busy. I will take it as we surely have a gas line to fix. I also truly miss the dogs and it's bloody nice to see them again!

LOL I have a very busy schedule of grooming the entire long weekend so when I eat one of the weekend days maybe he will get her done. I am so laughing. I bet I will be doing her on Tuesday.

It was a no swimming day. It looked like rain that never came. oh well.

I need to weed but that will wait.

The dogs are having a blast. I swear they are teenagers and I will let your mind go wild with what that means.

Rain and More Rain: Gallery Added

It's a no gallery day though I am trying to pull a gallery off. The site that I use to upload all the galleries to is not cooperating. I have submitted a ticket so we shall see.

This is Tchibo and Maddie. They have been playing like crazy and so has everyone else but I can't show you as well those gallery holding site - it's not working. Oh, I said that already.

It's my day off and I have been spending it organizing. Now that is crazy. It looks like Ronnie and I may be able to sit outside for dinner. We shall see. I am not even eating lunch.

I had cold coffee this morning as well I do not do decaf. Microwaving coffee - ih my. Then I checked my junk mail and Laurie sent me a Keurig arriving tomorrow. I want to pay you for that. I wasn't posting to get one but thank you truly for thinking of me. I was posting as the process of attempting to find a solution is crazy as Nathan has all these restrictions these days and caffeine is one of them. I need caffeine to stay awake. He takes naps. I can't. How do people and do they change everything to do the restrictive thing as one family member is restricted?

The dogs do not have a clue nor do they care. They just want to be fed good stuff. They want massages, cuddles and well NO RAIN. I want the last part too. Mother Nature says... I do not CARE!

If the gallery gets fixed, I will put it up later tonight and if not I will get 2 galleries tomorrow.

Puppies and Olders

The dogs had a blast. Jersey is now home. Coco the Maltese is now home and Coco the havanese remains. The puppies took a nap with Nathan today. Jersey got washed and groomed but it seems no photos of her freshly groomed. Argh. Not sure if the videos you will see.

Frannie was caught today on her back on a bed on high sleeping the hour away. I ran to get the camera and of course she got up. argh

Tchico seems to have all the girls after him. They just adore him.

It was a hot day today - rain tomorrow. Of course it is my day off. Got to laugh at that cause what else can you do? I wish I had got a swim in. Oh well.

Hot Day and Moms

Misty is back to swimming. Instead if the stairs each time, she managed to jump off the side.

For whatever reason, the moms was slow to play recovery. Spirit is finally back to investing her time with Rebel and Sage is back to swimming. I think swimming is the key.

We went to Ribfest. It was strange. Tenshi came over for the day. That was quite nice.

Lexi gal departed. She had a blast. Maddie is in love with Tchibo. Tchibo wants to nap and there she is so now Tchibo is napping with Nathan. LOL He likes his naps uninterrupted so we accommodate.

Tomorrow we get to see Coco the maltese. It has been awhile.

It is Dennis day off tomorrow. Mine is Tuesday and Tuesday night Ronnie and I are going out to eat on a patio close by. I am looking forward to it.

I live on coffee but now Nathan has to have decaf so I either need to get him something that keeps his decaf hot so I can have my caffeine or get a pod coffee maker. Nathan wants me to join the land of decaf. I need the coffee. So no solution but an exploration of attempting a solution. Pod machines are not cheap. Sounds like a minor problem that is whose coffee should be microwaved and whose should not. I will leave you with this - heh.

Before and After Rain

We have been raining since late mprning. This is Lexi before teh rain hit. She departs tomorrow.

Frannie arrived today. THey placed her down and in she ran inside wagging her tail. It has been since before the pandemic since I seen mom, dad and Frannie. It was so great and she brought chocolate to Dennis. He was thrilled - absolutely.

It got real steamy before the rain hit. Here is Tchibo, Maddie and Lexi.

The crew sat out with me on the couch and watched the rain fall down. Nathan did his laps while it was raining and the crew watched but no one attempted to go in including our mad about swimming crew. What did they know that Nathan didn't?

Brewer has departed and is moving into his new home. He has lived around the corner from us since he got him and now he is down in the Beaches. Hope to see him soon. Hope he adjusts fast.

I have my brushes, combs etc sitting in a solution in my grooming tub four a few hours and I just NOW thought of it. usually they sit for an hour and they come out like new. Can they get better than that? LOL

Time to go see.

Hot One Today

Some went swimming. Ollie decided - not today. We will try again tomorrow. We finally have weather for it and today I had grooming and more grooming but get this Nathan combed out those that swam.

Lexi, Adele and River dropped in today, Harlow departs any minute. Brewer is here till tomorrow. He has a new home to go to. I hope he loves it! Ms Gucci visited for a short bit. Tomorrow Tchibo and Frannie are coming. Going to be so fun.

The most fave place in the yard is on the couch. I put the sides down and they laze all over it. It's my fave too.

Adele and River are coming for the weekend. Our daughter is going away tubing and our grand kids are working or going to Montreal. We get the dogs. 

On Sunday we are going to do ribfest. It is usually held at Richmond Green but not this year and you order in your car and it gets delivered to your car. I look forward to it every year but a driveby is sort of interesting. Nathan looked at me with rolling eyes when I told him I registered him to do this on Sunday. He loves me - he loves me not. LOL

Tomorrow George the Yorkie comes. He visited us on a test run and really did well. It will be fun, fun, fun.

Weather better get hot. We need a swimming pool marathon.
