Agility Gal

This is what comes from an hour and fifteen minutes of agility........one pooped puppy. I was Facetiming with my sister and she jumped up asking to be picked up. As soon as I did, she put her head on my shoulder and went to sleep. She's quite the cuddler and I rather like that about her. So now I sit her trying to type with one hand, while she sleeps soundly in my arms.

She was a superstar at her first class, of course. She did every move the first time without hesitation.....a-frame, tunnels, jumps, tables and the entire course without a hiccup the first time. There is supposed to be another havanese in our class but they weren't there today. I can't wait for that!!

I am going to have to try to get some video before this class ends so you can see her in action. I know you would be proud!

Sophie Update

Karen sent us a note with a movie attached and gave permission to post it here.

Sophie's latest trick....Marching...left...right...left...  We got a little off trying to time the start with the webcam, but you get the idea.  It's a horrid angle of me, but I think you'll get a kick out of it and it shows off her intelligence and her beauty.  Watch to see how she checks out the camera while lying on her back.  Me, I was watching to see if it was still rolling.  If I could crop myself out I would have done so!  arrgghh  :-)

Maxine Update

Hi there Nathan and Darlah!

We had such a beautiful weekend that we obviously took hundreds of photos of Maxine.

Melissa and I are having lots of fun playing with her hair!  We managed to get three elastics in..  cute but didn't last very long.  Especially after a running session in the park.

Waste of Time

Through blizzard like conditions to be told I see something but I don't know what but if she took at the end of her breedings you know its too early to tell.

We had this date as our vet is away for 2 weeks. She said to me, well you can come back for another when I get back but I figure you will know by then and she's never missed and neither has Phantom.

That was a long drive....for what.... sorry...

No pregnancy for Treasure. We missed the window it seems. She had a full blown false pregnancy. That's okay. The gal comes into heat ever 4 months or so. Next time I think we will do a put the sperm up where the eggs are by the vet so it is a done deal. :-)

Friday's Visit

Looks like I am on my own for the vet visit. It will be a gals day. I leave at 915am and get back probably sometime in the afternoon.

Treasure will be pleased that it is just her and I.

I washed Treasure yesterday and today she came in with 4 black paws and 4 black legs and a face with black on it and a total black stomach. I rinsed her off and just let her air dry but leave it to her to change the colour of her hair!
