Oh a Cool One

Still working on the placements - sorry but had some blips - frustrations and poor Nathan. LOL I surely hope Raven's is easier.

We had to go out and hit all the beauty supply places, pick up treats that we ordered, folders required for paperwork and found out due to Covid no plain spray bottles are available - amazon, online, dollar stores, beauty supply places so we thought hmm maybe no grooming spray - what can one do. So, I found in my storage area some tiny glass spray bottles that I bought a year ago that I was actually using for colloidal silver spray when people asked. So, now we have tiny bottles of grooming spray. Thank you covid again - not.

I also may be giving out plain white blankets - very plush - can always bring them back as I simply have no time to design each and print them with the photo and birth date and name after the fact. I had grand intentions but no time. I am not having fun but the pups make me smile. It dawned on me that I have so much to do and the longer Nathan takes, the shorter time I have to do paperwork stuff. I am also going to be so busy that it cuts into my time with the pups, that has been significant but you get to see just Nathan as I tend to do the videos and photos.

When you do know your puppy, I please ask you to PLEASE make sure you have a pickup date and that you send the pertinent info. It takes me quite sometime to do that aspect so please...

We are doing 3 pups a day - usually we only do 2 as Raven is due and that means our focus will have to be on her, I am afraid.  I am seriously going to miss this crew. It has been an amazing - every single one of them - journey for all of us and the made me smile the entire way. No challenges - just pure fun. We hope to gad Covid is not rearing its ugly head by the time Raven's pups go home. We shall see...

Love!

Spirit was kissing a stormy pup. She will make an excellent mom.

I have been grooming all day and one - who will go nameless took me 5 hours and I am in serious pain. So blogs will be short. I now know where my back pain comes from and I knew my hands too but its - I need a new back.

I will also be uploading videos in a bit. I hear the pups had a play session upstairs and Nathan took videos - thank you! I didn't even know it was raining.

Stormy Crew Vet Check

This is the most good natured about the shots and microchips so we shall see how they do.

All pups are healthy.

The boys were bigger than the girls and that is usual with the Stormy pups but they do slow down and stay in standard.

Here is the gallery. They are all in order of the bath photos taken and can be found here.

Here are their weights.

Creamy and golden boy 4lb 80z

1st born boy 4lb 8oz

Girl with reddish tone 3lb 8oz

Last 8 Week Visit

This was the last of the 8 week visit. Thank you for the cake!! I might pour myself a gin and tonic and relax. I can't believe we did this for 5 days but we got to know each of you and the pups had many exposures vs. a crowd. Tomorrow afternoon is the vet. Then I have a lot of grooming. LOL

Here is the gallery.

It's been a pleasure though tiring to spend these days with each of you.

Get your pickup date in. Get your choices in as we can't assign pups till we know your choices from each of you. Then we will have to have all the pertinent info from you and I have bags to get ready and so much to do. Exciting times coming for each family - indeed!

I am yploading the videos in a few minutes - well starting in a few minutes.

4th Day Morn Puppy Fun

It's going to be a scorcher today but it was not too bad so far. We find it so enjoyable to watch you connecting with the pups. It was a fun morning.

Here is the gallery.

Hopefully I am capturing enough to give you an idea at who you connected with.

Our last visit is late Sunday night. Then we have the vets on Monday. That gives you enough time to get your choices in so you do not have to wait so long. So do get your choices inotherwise everyone must wait.

Videos are coming shortly. Lunch and pool is calling me while pups sleep.

Heating Up

Pups are getting mighty used to all this - hey they came to see me.

Here is the gallery.

It is getting hot so I suspect the 3pm will be a tad sweaty but the pups will be excited.

The pups had so much fun and I syspect the humans did as well.

Thank you so much for the cookies!

I am working on the videos now.

First Puppy Visit

How did it go? I didn't think creamy knew what masks were but he soon got it. It was funny. My bad as I should have sat with them with a mask on. It was all good conditioning.

I was tired tonight but these people made me laugh. Thank you!

Here is the gallery.

It went well other than Hallie the crazy one. Yes, they came out at the end.

Tomorrow 3 timeslots so late blogs.

I am uploading videos now.

No Vet Today

Stormy pup was playing with Willow. As Willow was here to get her shots and the vet did not come - see Willows blog - we tried a variety of pups with Meadow.

It's been a long day but here is the gallery.

We are going to try it again to see if things change come Sunday on who she warms up to.

8 Week Bath Photos

Boy - creamy

Boy - 1st bornStormy gal 1 - small
Girl - small 2

All pups were mighty sensational about the bath. Washing them, I found these pups are not going to be big. Her last litter was not either but these are smaller. It has to be the sire as Stormy is our biggest gal.

Here is the gallery. They are now ready for the vets and visits.

It did take a solid 5 straight hours to get all the 15 done.

Me Too

Stormy has truly outstanding personalities in her pups. This is one running for the door saying - ME TOO! This is 1st born and he is such a fun dog. You can tell him in the crowd. His sister looks like him so let's see when you are here - without looking underneath if you can tell them apart.

I can't believe we are not keeping one from her. We must have one to carry on this line. I can't imagine the world with a Stormy in our lives. She is such a friendly well rounded spirit. Stormy is on the large size but her pups are not big. They are not even going to be remotely her size. But that personality - yep - wonderful.

Tomorrow baths.

What a Day

Here is the gallery.

It will be easier on Monday to see individual photos of each pup in their respective blog.

Let's do the math. It takes 20 minutes for each pup if I am fast to do a bath, dry and photos. That is times 15. Do the math. That is 300 minutes without any delays. Add some leeways and it adds up. It is over 5 hours. I washed the moms today so they won't be squeaky clean but it is all I can do with a nonstop week. Wonder if I will have time to eat or Nathan can go out for fast food. LOL I have to look at his crazy schedule we have. But it is so important for you to meet the pups.

I have already told Nathan he will be moving the furniture and cleaning the deck. My garden won't be weeded - been doing a but daily but its not wild so... it is what it is. You won't notice as you will be fixated on the pups. That's my hope.

Play Play Play

They play so wonderfully. I think it was a Stormy pup - may have been mistaken but its in the gallery that flew in the air and I captured them in the moment.

Here is the gallery.

Life is grand when you are a puppy.

The weather has not cooperated with having 15 pups in the pool but they will experience it before they go home. I promise you.

Cooler Time

Short blog tonight. I have grooming and gardening to get done. I have a stockpile of junk I have to get rid of. I think the pups would like to help me weed. But I won't let them. Videos coming later.

We have had a lot of lawn services around us so the pups are getting conditioned to those sounds. That's a good thing!

Hot and Heated

They say cooler weather coming tomorrow. It has been 2 days of extreme heat. We get the pups out early in the morning and then they play indoors. Tomorrow should be an all day outside play. Well sessions - not actually all day. LOL

Here is the gallery from outdoors today.

Nathan has to figure things out. We have puppies to wash on the 15th. Vet check on the 16th. We can now have up to 10 people so Nathan has to figure that out pronto.

So much to do and so little time.

I also have to weed. I need to wash my own dogs as they have been in and out of the pool. Oh a busy week indeed! I am tired thinking about it.

Wetting a Deck?

Wonder how the dogs would react to a wet deck. hmmmm Issue is we have blankets etc down.

Be sure to check out the videos. I am about to upload and also watch pups and water plants.

Love the play with this crew!

Warm But Fun

We had a full day outside in and out and now the pups are asleep till their last round. Interesting enough Creamy boy sleeps the most as I swear he expels more energy. It makes sense as the more you play the longer and deeper you sleep.

Here is the morning gallery.

Stormy has some real characters in her crew with truly outstanding pretty faces. They have slimmed down a great deal as I knew they would. They grow fast and then slow down. It is interesting as each litter has their own growth pattern.

Lounging

This is the gal Nathan wants to keep. Don't worry - he is not but oh he wishes he could. LOL We indeed need a Stormy gal to carry on the line but next time - her last time so she best have a gal.

Here is the afternoon gallery.

This one likes to sit on high and survey the deck and then she pounces. hahaha

The Life

Dennis makes things really interesting for the pups. He places things for them to climb up and over even in their xpen. He likes to see them having fun and so so we.

Pups have had a really full day today but they will go out 1 more time before bedtime. It is great to have them chase their awakeness out. The do sleep all night now - which is early, I may add.

I am uploading the videos now as I type. Only have a few as today was a busy but fun one!

Change

As you can see the pups are eating solid kibble now. It's no longer softned and they like it better. Imagine that!

Here is the morning gallery.

They are now heading outside just before bedtime. We give them a full hour of play outdoors and they sleep till 7am. The key is getting them tired before bed. It works!

Busy Day

This is a beauty pose - don't you think?

Here is the morning gallery.

We or shall I say Nathan has been busy trying to schedule 8 week visits. It's not your normal visit so it's been interesting to come up with solutions but everyone will get to see the pups - hooray!

You will love the pups - truly.
