Bed or Not?

I think they think this house is now a bed. hmmmm

Be sure to check out the videos.

I dropped a small bag of fishies today on the deck and the crew went running as if I had dropped their best prized possession. They loved them! It's funny as not all the adults like them but the pups sure did.

Sent mail to the training schools to see what they are doing during covid times. Stay tuned!

Great Hiding Spots

It is a riot watching the pups. They find great hiding spots. One - I won't tell you who decided staying outside was best so he went and hid in a corner where you couldn't see him easily. Truffie does that  our chocolate boy. He uses it as a ploy to extend his time and then when you tell him inside, his whole body goes - geez really? Well this one did that today. I love a dog that is creative in getting time extended. LOL

Be sure to check out the videos. I did upload already. Now to go through all the stuff we just bought.

Day After Vet

With all the complaining about the microchips, not a single one is sore. They have been playing like banshees and living the life!

Soon pool.... but today rain and well, I was busy. Nathan can't do that by himself. :-)

8 days till the 1st ones go home and NO, I am not ready. I have way too much to do.

Vet Check

To say I am tired is an understatement. I was going to put an individual shot of each pup but instead I just did a gallery. There are no videos today. I needed to recover.

I was shooting into the sun, telling Nathan I needed not to take a shot of his backside or his arms moving. Some were blurry but forgive me - they are what they are.

Some pups screamed with the microchip so we may have soreness tonight and tomorrow so I am glad we waited till today to get it done.

If you go back to the 8 week bath photos, I went in order of those photos on who was done - in the exact order.  Everyone is healthy. She takes her time going over everyone despite the heat.

Here are they weights:

Littlest Gal 2lb 12oz

Littlest Boy 3lb 6oz

Choco and Tan Tri Boy 3lb 10oz

Choco and White Boy 3lb 14oz

Apricot and Cream Gal 3lb 2oz

White Chin Boy 3lb 120z

As you can see other than the littlest - there is not much difference.

Here is the gallery.

5th Day Mid Day

It was hot but it was enjoyable. These havanese pups are getting conditioned to this weather. Me, not so much. LOL

Here is the gallery.

I am working on the videos now but I may jump in the pool first.

4th Day Mid Day Visit

Here is the gallery.

Thank you so much for the coleus. An almost 30 year old babies from clippings. Special. Deep appreciation!

Although it was mighty hot, we survived and the pups are doing better each time with the heat. Of course they are dead asleep at the moment.

We had a couple of escape artists. Nathan has to do a better job in this xpen coverage. He was out there working feverishly. They didn't escape far - just on the deck - so no worries.

These visits are tiring but truly wonderful. It's like sharing your newborns with the Talemaker family, which you are now.

I am working on the videos as I know it helps you to figure out who you connected with. I want to scream. I only had 3 videos - not on purpose but 4 were corrupted. So sorry...argh

Oh My Too Hot

Here is the gallery.

I apologize for the heat. The pups did not last long as it seems we are in the midst of a heat wave. They were panting, fussing and nathan even put the feet of a couple in the pool. I hope tonight is cooler.

I am working on the videos but may take a fast jump in the pool and work on them outside.

2nd Visit

The visit went well. Here is the gallery.

I am going to upload the videos before a quick swim and eat. Someone was cracking jokes, I hear. We won't talk about it. LOL

Another one happens tonight and that will be on the Willow blog.

Run and Pounce

We are such a fun crew. Moms are no longer feeding so they are now teaching bite inhibition and correct play. We had to remove Sky as she is always after 1 boy of Leti's the cream and choco boy. He holds his own but that's not what we want. She plays physical and there is a size difference. Sky is simply too big and should be dumbing down her play to compensate. She needs to learn. This is her 1st experience playing with the pups. We should have had her playing earlier. But before they go home, Sky will get there and the pup will learn that if you get too much, you simp0ly stop the play.

The critical time for the pups is from 7-10 weeks. Moms teach them so much and we get them used to silly things like garden statues, hats, pans dropping etc. They have already been conditioned to gardeners on both sides of us. they have been walked out front in our arms to hear the street sounds etc. All pups are mega relaxed. They are doing ever so well.

Check out the videos. Stormy's blog will be updated late tonight as our visit starts at 7pm.
