Picnic Photos & Details

The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Woofstock Is Back

Meet us at Woofstock. Dogs are welcomed. We meet at the restaurant across the street from Woodbine Park. Here is the location. Meet up happens on June 22, 2024 at 9:30 to 945am. Certified Pet First Aid

Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid is a recognized National Pet First Aid Certificate course for dog and cat professionals and pet owners. Talemaker Havanese now has that certificate having taken and passed the course.

Spicy Chipotole

Spicy’s enthusiastic delight at everyone she meets, two legged or four, her graceful flowing movements as she seems to float in the air combine with her prancing, dancing movements and constantly wagging tail make her a classic Havanese. In a flat out Havanese style run like hell she’s always going to be the one out front being chased, but never caught, by all the others.

 Spicy is outgoing, fun loving and very playful, a true combination of her mom, Wasabi and her dad, Katsura.

Fun Tidbits

 Spicy will be the first one to greet you and she’s very enthusiastic about it. She’s all puppy at the moment. She will get jealous if you don’t give her the attention she feels she deserves, just like her father. She will play with anyone, anytime and another serious licker. Before finding her place on the bed each night she gives us each a face bath and then curls up and goes to sleep.

More Insight

Spicy completed her Canadian Championship at 8 months of age. The day before doing so she also won a Best Puppy in Group. She has since won a few Best Puppy in Group. There is much more in store for this wonderful Talemaker gal as she will be carrying the line forward that she has inherited from her dam, Wasabi and sire, Katsura.
