Discuss It > Buying a puppy.. Lots of questions!!

Hello everyone,

I have had my eyes set on havanese for awhile now. This website has very helpful tips when choosing a puppy. thank you for that!

Would anyone please me give me a rough idea on how much I should save up for to get a pup? I know you have mentioned 'you get what you pay for', so I would rather save up than just buy whatever is the most affordable.
Also, around what is the monthly cost of owning one. I just want to be sure that i am financially prepared to own one.
How often or when do you usually have puppies available? Is there a waiting list? If there is how do i get on the list?

Thank you!

I've found they vary in cost from $1200 (lowest) to $3,000 (highest). It also depends if you plan on breeding or showing them.

Cheers
