Tunnel

This one thinks tunnels are meant to climb over. They so enjoy this tunnel due to the crinkle noise.

I uploaded some videos. Dennis took another and I will upload that too perhaps after I get up from the nap. I am eating and blogging at the moment.

Pups are crazy fun. I am going to miss this fun. Each brings their own unique fun to the mix.

Toys That They Love

If you can find this treat toy - buy it. Every single puppy LOVED and I mean LO)VED it. They could use it as a teether. They stick their head in and you can put a treat in it. A multi-useful toy is a hitn in my opinion when they enjoy it so.

I am uploading videos. Now. You can see them here.

Pups played inside today as it was raining. Now the sun is out.

Play Play Play

One has to laugh the play they do with the older crew.Although Rebel is a puppy still she is an older puppy and tends to know gentle play.

Check out the gallery.

The pups are about to go outside again so its a short blog today. Off to upload a few more videos.

Now What?

Do we play indoors, outdoors? This crazy weather.

Be sure to check out the videos.

I forgot to tell you but Dennis took the pups out in the dark a few nights ago to play. They didn't blink an eye.

They just love to play!

Toys and All

This Raven gal loves her toys, humans and loves to kiss. She has learned the game of light tug quickly. She is highly playful but also she enjoys her naps. She is most like Raven in her personality. But interesting enough Raven spends more time mentoring and playing with the brindle boy. Oh she does with all but there is something about that brindle boy for her. I get it as he pursues her and pounces on her and loves the play. But they all do. He just happens to persist with her.

Here are the videos.

Little by little I will tell you about each. What is hard for me though is what I can say about one I can say about another as they are such even temperaments. This crew is truly outstanding all 8 of them. They seem to so enjoy life. Very little calling you to go out, they patiently wait in the morning.

Oh Warm Weather and Covid

We had the 6 week visit and I felt sad. Sad why? No in person visit. It is simply not the same. Our recording didn't save for the zoom meeting. I hope someone else saved it and if so, can you send?

Here is the gallery from the afternoon.

I feel like I am letting everyone down - parents to be, pups - all of it and nothing under my control. We are going to try to do another next Saturday and hope Spirit cooperates and you have thought of things to ask.

Pups start going home May 18th (book your date with Nathan please) and the end of the stay at home is not till May 20th. Thing is that date is just before the long weekend and what is the chance Ford will not extend even if our numbers are down. We will still be doing a departure but how we do it will matter on what I receive from others I have contacted. But let's set the date so we can at least have that solid. I have sent out messages to other breeders - all breeds to find out how they are doing send offs. Many do not do 6 and 8 week visits so they so far do not get my feelings over this zoom stuff. It's better than nothing but not the same.

We will figure it all out. I am so stressed about this, I may have a gin and tonic tonight and I am serious.

When all is said and done - the pups are pretty even with a few better with kids. At least I know that they are amazing pups and need to be without the fun of you coming to visit.

Enough said. Let Nathan know pick up date and time and if you are interested in Zoom next Saturday or whatever. I want to make this a special experience.

Grabbed By the Tail

Sometimes you have to try to get the advantage. LOL Well, in their minds. They are learning. Her brother said, no that's my tail.

I am going to try to take their weights to see how much theiy have grown. The issue is they won't stay still to get an accurate weight. Have to laugh.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Juggling But Fun

Sorry I am so late at doing these blogs. They will be short. I had a ton of fun with the pups upstairs before I departed for the vet. They are getting to be quite the characters.

Here is the gallery.

Snow Experience 1st Time

We had our 1st experience with snow outdoors and they LOVED, LOVED it! We didn't capture them in snow on the camera but when the videos get up, you will see them outdoors and upstairs of course.

They are really a fun bunch. Soon moms will stop feeding them. They will rely just on food. Solid food is boding them well. They also were fine with the deworming. Output is solid - no issue.

Small But Mighty

Despite being small, this boy climbs from one bed to another and keeps on persisting till he gets where he wants to go. He loves to sleep in a soft and comfie bed. It is so important to him that he keeps at it till he accomplishes it. Good for him.

Here is the gallery.

All the pups love these beds.

The pups had 3 play sessions so far. Raven has been busy teaching them how to play. It is interesting.

To Be Outside

The pups are adorable - both Raven and Misty pups. They play and play and then they crash. They are now going out 4 times a day.

The more they play, the longer they sleep. They sleep quite a bit at night but do wake up from time to time. No screaming to let them out when they hear us in the morning. They wait without a word. They know the routine.

I need to deworm and to give baths but baths depend on the Sage wait.

Here is the gallery.

Short Blog

Videos are here...

Nathan is outside with the pups. They have been out 3 times today. They go out just before bed as well. That means 4 play sessions.

They are loving it but it is time intensive. It is worth it as it surely helps with their development.

Spirit loves the pups and Raven's boy often thinks she has milk. Not yet, little one.

Tails Up

The videos are now up.

I hope you understand Nathan and I have this thing going on about his videos. He laughs as hard as I do. Last year they were upside down. He is improving but he's not there yet. I think he likes not being there yet.

Have you noticed the pups tails are up now? They are doing well upstairs. They mesh quite well together. They so love the play!

Falling Asleep on the Job

As I was grooming non stop today, I asked Nathan to do videos and photos. I took a few but Nathan well we will see what he took. He can take nice photos but he is downright dangerous taking a video. Check them out here. They will be up shortly.

Pups are wonderful playing and sleeping upstairs and downstairs. It was too rainy and cold to do outside.

Upstairs Fun

Nathan brought the pups upstairs and I took photos, videos as he had to go down with the rest of the dogs. Dennis slept till 11am and hopefully tomorrow is better all for a small mini break till Sage delivers.

Here is the upstairs gallery.

The pups have adjusted easily to all changes. They embrace play in a variety of places now. No outside today as it is dreary and wet out there. Plus I have the vet for Sage and thus the huge push to get blogs done. I will do the main one when I return from the vets as well as Sage's, of course.

These 2 litters act as one and feed off of whatever mom and even try to feed off of Spirit. They are equal opportunity pups. How nice that moms are too!

Be sure to check out the videos.

Cool and Changes

One gallery today of both litters.

Tomorrow we will have 2 galleries - 1 outside and one upstairs. The pups will be moving upstairs without moms tonight. This will be their routine till they go home. Each night at about 1030 till 7am with cameras on, moms will be cuddling with me watching them on the ipad. Yes, they actually watch. Raven will know what is what, Misty will not understand tonight.

Pups had a blast outside!

Getting Older

For pups that are smaller and 4 days younger, you wouldn't know. Most times you find them on top when playing.

Here is the gallery.

They are really a fun bunch and they are hopping and jumping over to get to one point to the other. They are really used to the hallway now so soon - today - early evening we will take them upstairs in the hall to play with all sorts of new toys. We will see how they do there.

How can it be that they are growing up...

Check out the videos.

Rainy Day

You will find the videos here and the gallery of both pups on Misty's blog. I am uploading the videos now.

It is interesting that the Raven pups will eat off of either mom and I rarely catch a Misty pup eating off Raven. It's just an interesting observation.

I have not weighed the pups lately as I often do at this stage as they jump out of the scale or won't stay still. They are growing. It is obvious. This younger set's skills are meeting the challenges of the older ones nicely and you can see how they cuddle up to the Misty pups. They have already bonded. When we have these pups back here and there they will see each other as siblings - bonded for life.

Nathan may take them out later in the hall or maybe Dennis. I wash the blanket between in case of any accidents. I need to find another blanket of size to use so I am not rushing to wash and dry between while they are napping.

First Hall Visit: UPDATE

I have to reduce my time blogging. I am usually finishing just before bedtime. Today I have a puppy I must do in a few minutes. So, from now on, especially as pups are easily decipherable, I will do both blogs but will do one gallery. I will post the link to the gallery on one blog and the other the video link. You will still get the same info but I may catch my breath before new pups.

Here is the gallery.

As I will be grooming, Nathan will take the pups out or Dennis but no photos of videos - just playing.

The pups had their 1st out in the hall play as it was raining outside. Raven's pups had less of a sliding on the tile floor than Misty's. I found that interesting. There was no concern of being in a diffferent room.

Soon - they will play upstairs too. I am uploading the videos NOW but I also added the show them the rain to the gallery above.
