We got the pups out as soon as we could in the morning. It was cold. It was damp and the pups were mighty lively. They were expelling their energy. It was fun to watch. We had to do an upstairs play session later as it was raining and still is. Videos will be up soon.

Sunday Morning Visit

Puppies enjoyed the cooler weather and the humans did too. We have another visit that you will find on Hallie's blog this afternoon.

Puppies are social and truly enjoy humans. This is an amazing group of pups. I think the larger the crew is, the more social they become.

No Photo Day

I am ever so tired. Please see Hallie and Willow's blogs for galleries and links to the videos. Tomorrow we do it again.

One of Nami's pups was conked out before the afternoon visit has concluded. It's about how I feel now.

Dennis is going to take them upstairs to play. I was going to do a gallery but I am fading so - forgive me.

Here's to tomorrow. Pups are STILL sleeping as I type!

First Baths

Here is the Nami bath gallery.

This was their 1st bath and I did them alone. It was something else. They didn't mind the water but was not happy with spray on the face but still no one screamed which occurs if they are afraid. They were great. I filled the tub, added shampoo and sprayed them with soapy solution. I tried to take as many photos as I could but was by myself. So, it is what it is. I rinsed them off and one by one towel dried and took photos on the grooming table staying close enough so we had no accidents. Then I put them one at a time in the crate where Dennis took them outside. I took videos inbetween.

They aired dried and as this was the 1st crew, they were dry before coming inside. With Hallie's I had to spot dry under the dryer as they were the last.

This afternoon I will do pads, around eyes, rectum and belly. Then Nathan will do nails. I will take more videos and photos when we are doing this but not by litter. I will have 1 gallery for that.

Playing Outdoors

The pups are still doing well after deworming. Their bowels are good and they never even got sleepy. 

I realized today that the pups at their weight was not happy with the heat. They have not figured out that they need to drink a lot of water when it is this hot. They will learn. I think this is the last very hot day and then it cools down. It may even rain on Sunday - hoping not! We shall find out...

Upstairs Before Outdoors

They know the upstairs rather well and are comfortable with it but visits are coming up and they need to be exposed to outdoors and if it rains, in the kitchen. 

They had a great time upstairs today.

Lazing Nami

I was hoping to clean off the deck but had too many to groom today. We are hoping for tomorrow.

For now they are playing upstairs and we have a cross breeze with windows open. It's quite nice.

Play Equals Fun

The pups will most likely get dewormed tomorrow. The day got away from me with playing catch up on groomings and I still have a dog to do that is departing tonight.

I won't deworm the 1st time late in the day as I like to watch to see how they do so most likely that will occur tomorrow morning. We do this as a preventative. This is what the vets would do if we did not.

Sleep Time

The pups play till they fall asleep. How long does it take them to expel their energy? It depends on if they rested before the play or was already playing when they came out. 

They do usually climb out of the way to fall asleep.

Combed Really?

I did comb all the moms and they said FINALLY - where's the treats? So, they got a treat. LOL

After feeding, they do not look like I even took a comb to them. That's okay. It's raining outside. 

Pups are active. They so enjoy the play and they sleep a long sleep between. They are so cute together!

We Are Capable

These younger pups are just as able as the older. They run. They play and their climb just like the Hallie pups. How exciting is that?
