12 Hours or So

Here is the gallery.

I went to bed leaving Nami in Dennis' hands at 1230am last night. I am back up at 7am. Bedding was changed, pups were weighed. Nathan made food for the moms and today - usually my job Dennis did the new waters throughout the house and in each pen. We change waters about 5 or 6 times a day - a freshen up so they have nice cool fresh water. We have a cooling core in each to keep it cool. The core goes in the freezer daily. I also took videos and photos and uploaded the videos and created this gallery. I will create the others after this blog. I finished this routine about 830am and then had my coffee and muffin. Now I am blogging. I am still very tired and found out the earliest Costco can deliver is the 7th - really? 

Look at Nami's face. I have yet to comb her out. She looks perfect to me. All pups gained and it is only 12 plus hours now or less. It seems like it just happened or a faded memory that felt like a fiasco but turned out great at the end. I keep telling Nami how great she is and she so appreciates the affirmations. She is attentive and was way happy to see me. All 3 moms were over the moon happy to see me. It makes you feel good. 

Not sure if Dennis fell asleep last night but he greeted me with Nami's pups would not eat - at least 2. But he must have missed it as they all gained nicely. I knew she had milk as I expressed it last night to see. 

Nami is good. Pups are good. Videos are up and more will be added as I find the time.

Pups are All Here

3 born, 2 in car, 1 coming through our door. 1 has not come yet. We think the car ride helped jostle the 2 1st pups into position. So far all 3 are girls. 

Here is a gallery so far. Individuals will wait till 4th has arrived. This is highly stress-filled. 

1st one born is a sable and cream and is a gal. She was born at 509pm. She weighs 60z 172g

Second one born is a girl. She was born at 549pm. She is also a sable and cream but different markings.

Third one was born coming through door and she looks like a Misty puppy with black mask and black diamond on head. She is white mostly. Looks like brown not black. She weighs 6-3/8oz 183g

I am uploading various sides of each pup so far to gallery.

4th born is yet another gal and we are done. She was born at 734pm. She weighs 6-2/8oz 179g She is a deep copper sable so far. All pups are latched on. Poor Nami was mighty confused and VERY hungry.

I stay up till midnight while Dennis sleeps and Nathan will go to bed at 930pm. I never want to go through this again for many reasons but poor Nathan would have another heart attack. He does not do stress well where I keep it to myself and do what I need to.

Galleries are now updated and I will be uploading the rest of the videos shortly. I need to catch my breath. Bedding and Nami was cleaned up.

Emergency

Nathan is on his way to our local vet for an emergency c-section. 2 Pups are coming at once and it will not resolve itself. We called our breeder vet and she advised us we need a c-section.  I am unable to go as we have 2 litters here so he is doing it himself. Poor guy - poor Nami. Will let you know.

First one born in parking lot. Guess it DID resolve Sable and white. Do not have anymore details.

Nesting

Not taking her temps this morning. It is intrusive and I know she is in stage 1. She stayed up with Dennis and the other moms last night and I went to bed with the dogs. Of course, I checked on my ipad often to make sure she was okay. It will be today. See nesting videos here.

Temp

98.8 but no nesting yet. Trying to figure out if I take her to bed or stay up with her. aAs this is her 1st litter, it could be slow.

Temps Are

98.6. Can't do another all nighter - seriously. It will kill me so please wait... Will check her temps again later to see if they are going down.

No True Drop

Still in low 100s so no true drop yet. I am glad as 2 at once would be crazy. Willow in wee hours and hours later for Nami would be bad too. I think I will lose weight. LOL

Temps Are

She was 100.1 at 750am. We either missed her drop or she has not dropped. I did take temps just before bed and no drop.

Both girls are not eating this morning. I just hope not at the same time.

Temps

The temps have not changed. I did get sleep. But if you look at Hallie's timestamps on the videos, you will see it was interrupted sleep. Better than before. Still hoping for day time delivery please. She did eat a bit this morning.

I can't set up the next whelping box supplies as I am not sure who that will be. LOL Tells me I should not have their names or photos on the whelping boxes. LOL

Nami will have the whelping box closest to the recliner as she will be a 1st time mom.

Nami's Temps

Her temps today is 100.3. As this is the 1st time that I took it, I am not sure if that is stilll up or rising or lowering. Next time will be tonight but she did vomit all over just now. Stay tuned. Our vet said anytime now. Oh boy.

We seem to have 4 large pups. Oh boy...

Vet says anytime or Sunday to Wednesday. We shall see tomorrow on the other 2.

Nami XRAY Tomorrow

We had a visit planned for Saffron tomorrow but she no longer needs the appt so Nathan decided to bring nami instead as he felt he couldn't handle 3 at once. Hallie and Willow will have theirs the next day.

Nami's Ever Huge Belly

Here is the gallery.

I wonder how many she will have but oh boy is she huge. LOL It is hard to see in a photo but I now have to pick her up vi her bum cradled so I am not putting pressure on her tummy. She's not happy when I forget.

Her vet visit is the same February 22nd at 1130am. She is due March 1st give or take a few days.

Willow March 3rd, Hallie March 1, Nami March 1st. All are a few days either way. Going to be interesting.
