6 Week Visit

I want to say thank you to Michaela and Al and their daughter Sydney for Purdys, Tim Hortons and the headache remedy. So appreciative. I mean that sincerely. You are going to laugh but I do have a headache coming on and I did need blueberry muffins. Sorry about the non recorded convo. I get your passion. :-)

Here is the gallery.

Like a proud momma, I watched the pups and didn't know what to expect never been in the kitchen. Never being in a room with people with masks - me included. The pups were great. They took the changes in stride and had a good time. I am proud of them. They are really great pups! They are still sleeping.

When they wake up, they will go upstairs and play.

I am eating fast food Wendy's. I have enough to do than take the time to cook. After that, I will upload the videos

Pups may go upstairs for the night without moms or maybe tomorrow. Most likely tonight. Dennis will sleep in his own bed since 2 litters ago. wow

1st Bath

This is one of 2 boys - the 1st born. He is the smallest. He was great in the bath and for blow drying. I could repeat myself but all the pups in this litter took to the bath as a fun experience. No one shook, it had words. they just went with the flow.

This is the other boy. He is larger than the 1st born and will be as an adult. He has colour bleeding through and some of it will be silver. Look at the rims of his eyes. I have not weighed them lately but only 1st born will be small. None will be huge.

This is one of the gals. She is the - must eat since I was born gal. She has slowed down in eating but she does love food. She allows me to put her on my legs belly up and rub her belly. I just started to test them.

This is who I call Splash. She is the last born and has a white splash of colour on her back. She is not small.

Here is the bath gallery.

I find it interesting that the Tempie pups hold their own with the older Spirit pups and communicate well. You are too rough, I am done and they turn their back and walk away. Interesting enough, they have a good understanding of cimmunication between them.

Here is the play gallery.

The one that will silver to a degree and Splash has already managed to climb out of the xpen if the gate is left open. You have to laugh at such agile beings.

Videos will be uploaded in a bit.

They did have fun and soon Dennis will be taking them out to play. The plan is Sunday they head upstairs without moms. This way they learn to sleep at night and have some independence which bodes well for transitioning to your home.

Oh and all 6 had no issues with the clipper cleaning their pads.

Baths Feeding Hall: 35 Days

Check out the gallery.

The moms had their baths together today. I often wonder if they still smell like mom after a bath but I suppose they do as they went right to them.

Tomorrow the pups get their bath and if Nathan can do math, he would be dangerous. As you can see the pups are 35 days today and will be 37 days on Saturday. That makes this crew on Saturday 5 weeks and 2 days old. It will be the youngest for visitors and baths so we shall see how they do. Spirits are 4 days older. So they will just be a shy of 6 weeks old.

Going to be an adventure. :-)

34 Days Old

This Saturday - well I think Saturday we are having a 6 week visit. That means baths on Friday for all 6 if we get confirmations. My tools are also getting sharpened that day and I booked off. But looks like its not an off day. Can't remember an off day. It will be absolute insanity Friday to get ready. Then Saturday I have 5 dogs to groom plus the visits.

Here is the gallery.

They played upstairs, downstairs and they are getting really steady on different flooring.

How are they this age already?

33 Days Old

Check out the gallery.

It is truly special to capture moments between Nathan and the pups. It is hard to explain but it's sort of a be still my heart. I so love the interaction. Mine are caught off camera as I take the photos and videos so my time is when the camera and video is set aside so I can have me time.

So far the pups like hard food vs soften food, What is that about?

All have teeth poking through except 1st born smallest male of Tempies but his are ready to poke through.

32 Days Old

Pups enjoy the hall and this room playing. Soon we will take them upstairs. They are getting better and better on the flooring. Some are careful and some are not. I have to laugh.

They really love this toy. I must get another so I can wash one and have another. We shall see. I still have to fix the wooden dowel toy.

Their xpen has almost no blankets down but they do gravitate to the blankets to sleep. They love soft.

Check out the videos. They will be uploaded shortly.

31 Days Old

Here is the Gallery.

Nathan managed to get a lot of kisses from a couple of pups. You will have to look at the videos and photos to see which puppies.

One particular one enjoys the target that his nose is.

They have been out 3 times and Dennis will take them out an additional time without photos and videos. This way we can just play with them instead of concentrating on capturing them. There is a difference especially for me.

The pups are so enjoying each new experience. Each new thing is - oh this is fun!

30 Days Old: 1st Hall Play

The pups had their 1st hallway play. They have had 2 play sessions now. We will then graduate to 3. We have also reduced the size of the pen so they can find the pads easier.

Here is the gallery.

Thanks goes to Bonhams mom for the extra size blanket. I think its velour and both moms and pups enjoyed the softness laying and rolling on it.

These pups can now keep up with the play of Spirit's duo. Bravo little ones!

29 Days Old

Here the pups are waiting to go back after their eating and feeding play session.

Check out the videos. They are getting uploaded now.

It has been such a wet day out that I have had to focus on drying and brush outs vs puppy clicks. That's okay. Pups sleep a significant amount of time at this age. They are growing and sleep is how they grow.

A few more are drinking water. That's a good thing and they seem to feed each others pups at times.

4 Weeks Old Today

Here is the gallery of both litters.

They are mighty comfie with each other now. They lay up against each other, on top of each other and they play like crazy.

This crew seems to keep up with the Spirit pups and if they get too much, they walk away. You will see some of that in the videos I am about to upload.

I have a tough time getting videos and photos of them unless they are awake and walking around. They love the crates and behind the crates. When they start going out to play, it will be easier to get more.
