5 Weeks 2 Days

This is a lively bunch. They so love to muck it up and have fun. They are older and it works that way. They play with Kinsey and Rebel. They run. They wrestle and well they have a ton of fun. 

They are getting a lot of teeth.

The food that they are eating is softened kibble with chicken mixed in. They are the easiest crew to go from mousse to kibble. I am pleased. Soon it will not be softened if those teeth keep coming in.

They are also doing well with sleeping without mom at night and do sleep for the most part.

5 Weeks 1 Day Old

Here is the gallery.

This crew is really into the active stage now. They fuss to come out. They started at 8am today saying outside - outside. I said no and we went out later. I had things to do. They became patient when I declined to react to their - let me out. They are learning.

They love their play sessions outdoors, upstairs, hallway - what have you. They just love and I call this the cute stage. 

I can't weigh them as they jump and try to climb out of the scale. I have a flat scale upstairs and when they go up tonight, I may see if they will stand still for that. Sometimes that flat scale works - others they just won't stay still. You can easily tell they are gaining.

The pups are doing well.

5 Weeks Old

This is a no gallery day across the  board. I just had a day and here it is 8pm and doing blogs.

Pups had their 1st play session in the halls upstairs with Dennis while I groomed a dog departing any minute. They had a blast. I will do galleries tomorrow but till then watch the videos.

These pups are wonderful!

I have no energy for galleries today.

1 Day Shy of 5 Weeks

Here is the gallery.

This crew is so much more active as they are older. They get excited about coming out and the others are just getting acquainted with coming out. 

Until we can, we will be doing play sessions with this crew and the other 3 separate. It's a lot of extra work but it is necessary. If they were all days apart, it would be much easier. That is okay. Eventually they will all be merged. But it's much too soon now. 

I find I wake up and just go go go till bedtime and each needs special attention that is unique to their abilities. 

I find myself going from pen to pen at least twice a day to lay in it and simply play with them. This is me time - sorry. Sometimes I just have to spend time without cameras. It is important. They enjoy this time and so do the moms. I am not distracted with did I capture this or that. I just have moments that I can just spend the time with them.

Edging Up on 5 Weeks

The pups really look forward to going outside to play. There is one character that is so excited that he kisses you and his tail wags a mile a minute. He is a riot!

The pups are pretty agile and they sure have their personalities spilling out.

4 Weeks 4 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Pups had their 1st upstairs without mom. Pups did fine. Tempie kept me up all night crying. It was the wrong day to do this as Nathan is at a show but it was Dennis idea. I wish he had waited a couple of days.

They also had their hallway play as it was raining all day. 

New things that they seem to be handling well.

4 Weeks 3 Days Old

Everyone but Ella came out to play with Tempie pups - well the moms. They so look forward to the play now. I so remember their 1st time out and each time they go out, it gets better and better at what they do and how they do it. They are learning! They are growing up.

4 Weeks 2 Days

Here is the gallery.

The looks - oh well I am partial to tris and silvers and we may have some silvers. But the personalities are starting to come out and there is a particular boy that is a mighty character. He jumps and licks, and calls for you with his voice when he plays with you. He is a bloody character. Nathan - well I never heard him laugh so much saying are you my boy. It's hysterical. 

It's going to be a fun journey with this crew.

4 Weeks 1 Day Old

Here is the gallery.

I have to time my outdoors with the pups between groomings. Today was a once day as it keeps raining off and on. 

Had an interesting story where one got on the other side of teh screen than ran back and forth trying to figure out how to get back to the other side. It whimpered a little and ones 1st reaction would be to help but sometimes helping creates a hindrance so I watched and he figured it out. That is how they learn. It is always best to cultivate the mind to find solutions.

4 Weeks Old Today

I can't believe they are 4 weeks old today. Nathan and I took them out this morning and I completed the outside with just me and Dennis - no photos sorry as Dennis took them out while I was grooming. 

Pups had a lot of fun outdoors. They really look forward to it and they have figured out the sherpa bag. They are so smart!
