Leaves and Play

Dennis was doing leaves. Me, I would wait till they all fall down but each day he makes piles and the dogs run through them before he picks them up just to make his job interesting.

Barry and DJ really clicked today. Each day they create these relationships and it is interesting to see how the relationships develop.

Here are just a few photos. I have two more baths and haircuts to do today for others that are getting picked up tonight so blogs will be late or truncated.

Levon and Trigger are delightful as usual and Brewer will come tomorrow before they depart just to mix it up. They so enjoy the Brewski. I watched tv last night and Levon snuggled up to me. Ah nothing like those moments. Barry was in Nathan's lap.

I didn't get photos from all as I was grooming and why bother as mine already are muddy but hoping those going home tomorrow stay clean as they say rain or snow is coming. Snow ok - rain forget it please!

Such is a Day

Had a lousy day - too much on my mind so I am just going to put photos up and a few words. I hope you don't mind.

Barry is in the lead. He's starting to let loose and play the run game.

We had lots of running play till the rain came.

Barry likes it outside so much that he would rather be playing outdoors much like a few of ours. Nothing like the outdoors to explore and run and enjoy. That is till it rains and its like magic they want to come in. Barry is just figuring it out that we run inside too. We are crazy dawg people.

I call this 'follow the leader' and that is exactly what he was doing half the day. I want whatever you have Adele to make them all so attracted to you. hahahaha Just teasing but it is funny!

Truffie had a bath YESTERDAY and he still looks like he had one - magic.

Fun was had by all and I mean run and chase and have a blast fun. It was a good day and it kept me distracted. I liked that!

Visits and Fun

Barry is here and he's adjusted fast. He was even playing with Logan and Adele.

Leaf surfing is always fun and can you believe we had raked them and now its a blanket of leaves again.

Levon and Trigger are here and they just settle in immediately! They had a blast today and Shiner thought oh wow more to play with ME!

Simone was visiting and here she is giving Dusty love! She loves her gal, Dusty.

As I was washing dogs, Nathan clicked photos. They ran. They had a blast and now they are all snuggled in to watch tv. I am going to get myself some snuggling time too while the pups are out playing with Dennis.

Baths

It was rainy so Cha Cha had a bath (miss her already), Shoshi had a cut down and a bath, Spice also got bathed. Nathan's dad came over. (he's on a chemo break). Then I washed Adele. Tomorrow more baths.

Yvonne drops in tomorrow so we will see how much progress I get with baths and why am I doing this with rain. heh

Then we have Levon and Trigger - fun indeed! Plus Barry is coming to visit and we are truly looking forward to it. What a fun day tomorrow. But maybe I should start baths at 6am. hahahaha

Lost in Leaves

The dogs had a blast today. They were running like banshees. We even got the leaves blown - well somewhat. I got my dryer back that also doubles as a leaf blower. hahahaha

The best part was Logan and Truffie. I have 100s of photos. They were on a roll!

I don't know about you but this time change has me waking up at 6am. I hope tonight is better. Tomorrow the Cha Cha departs after her bath and I get to wash my own. It's that time again. ;-)

I keep thinking this is Saturday not Sunday - truly so this is my fault this was not up yesterday! We were at a dog show. :-(

Show Fun

Buddy was a challenge. He was a puppy who wanted to bounce, sit and do all sort of fun things but he did get winners dog - huge in the specialty. Thank you to Val for grooming him. Thank you to Margaret and Bruce for loving him like you do.

Nathan showed him in the specialty, Margaret showed him in sweepstakes. He was a truly silly dog in sweeps so did nothing. Nathan showed him in the specialty.

Margaret and Buddy do look great together. But he was sewing his oats the 1st show. Poor Margaret as he was a challenge. By the time Nathan got him in the 2nd show he was still silly but not quite as much.

I came home, fed pups, have to groom and wash 2. So blogs are well not much. Sorry about that. We do have a puppy 6 week visit tomorrow. We will play catch-up.

Ty is a tad late but he wanted to make sure you had a truly howling good Halloween!

As I had a lot on my plate today I am not adding anything else except to say I love my husband. He's a riot. I overheard him say to someone he takes the majority of the photos. Then he said to me when I disputed that I take the inside and he takes the outside ones. Then he says he takes the adults and I take the puppies. Reality is we both take photos and so does Dennis. He uses auto modes on his camera and I use manual settings most time. Nothing wrong with either and that doesn't make one of us better than the other. All the photos I am posting today, I took. I do say when he takes the photos and give him and Dennis credit - I do...

It is important to give credit where credit is due.

Fall is the Best

Other than swimming in Summer and snow forts in winter if we get snow that isn't ice, fall is a grand time to run on the cover and we did!

Just Today

We have Hugo and Milo here as their human mom has had surgery. They love the cover!

As you can see Spice needs her hair tied up better but every now and then I leave it down.

Katie is here and was getting a brush out. She has Kat's face - how interesting. She is a Roxie Baby.

Katie is in a onesie as she just had the snip snip spaying.

Inula is running on the cover now.

Logan was having a blast then he had to have his bath. He would rather be out playing. Wouldn't you?

Shiner is having a blast. He has had a ton of exposures and although he is having the time of his life we need to find him a forever home.

More play tomorrow but till then this human is going to watch a tv show. Its been awhile. Ooops Panda feeding time. There goes that idea. hahaha

Hello Darlah and Nathan,
I hope you are all fine as well as the doggies. It has been such a long time since we last wrote to you. I am thinking now that i missed sending a picture of Pacho's birthday last year, i meant to do it but never got around it.

Pacho is as adorable as he was as a puppy, he continues to be the center of attention wherever we take him. In the mornings when I take my daughter to school many children come around to play and pet Pacho and he loves it.

I wish a very happy birthday to Spice and the other siblings of Pacho, 4 years, that is unbelievable.

Marlee Sue wants to wish Pacho, Doozie, Gracie and Spice a Happy 4th Birthday!

This was the litter of 6. One was lost when it was a busy holiday and he escaped through the front door at their home when a relative came in. It is why we have a gate across ours. I thought hard about posting that as I do not want to be a downer but it is an accident that CAN occur at busy holiday times. Please keep your dogs safe from escaping as friends and relatives do come in and out during the holiday season.

On a positive note, this was a fabulous litter and how did 4 years go by so fast?

Pool Closing and Fall Fun: Video Added

Pool cover is finally on but the dogs haven't seen it yet. They are just now finishing it up. It will be interesting to see who runs on it and who doesn't.

As I was typing this up we went out, had a run on it and I added the photos to this gallery.

They were having a blast. Inula, Shiner and Abby were not sure of it. Inula walked on it but never got into the run. Hugo and Milo who is here as mom is having surgery had a BLAST! Nothing like a pool cover trampoline fun and I suspect Shiner, Inula and Abby will all be running on it by weeks end.

Now to tackle those leaves. :-( Wish I knew someone with a blower or Val was done with my dryer that also will blow leaves. Nothing is ever EASY.

On another note everyone was groomed thoroughly. Logan gets a bath tomorrow so he can smell beautiful for his Mommy. I am tired but I got my flu shot so I don't get the flu like I did last year. Last year's flu was scary.
