Birthday

It was Oakley's birthday yesterday and Momma brought him treats to share and celebrate today!! Happy Birthday!!!!!

Messy Times

I didn't get a chance to comb out everyone today so you get to see what they look like before I accomplish this part of my day.

Sun is shining. Leaves are falling. Dawgs are having fun and Harlow found the growing larger by the day baby rabbits. Boy do they grow fast!

We had a good day to be outside. No rain and warm but not hot. Visitors came - visitors went and it is rather quiet. 

We did manage to take a walk. I am tired. What a lazy body I have. Each time we take a walk, I am amazed at how many are afraid of dogs. 

The dogs really played hard today. They enjoyed. We didn't see the baby rabbits and I swear Harlow was MIFFED! Hallie too!

Dennis says he is doing a scavenger hunt with the dogs tonight. Going to be fun!

Rain Arrived

Dawgs are not appreciating the wet. No walks today. Hoping tomorrow is dryer.

Dennis and I watched a tv show covered in dogs. It was wonderful. Now the tv is off. I am blogging and the dogs went to the tv room to harrass Nathan.

They are playing indoors but really who likes wet feet?

Rain Coming?

I have a class Wednesday so I think I am going to switch to a Wednesday day off vs. tomorrow. I was able to change my grooming schedule and it just makes too much sense. So, I can shut my door and concentrate on the class. I finally was able to switch my schedule around.

This is Charlotte above trying to jump down on Dennis exercise mats. It is a very soft landing.

We did go for another walk. Each time we try in a different direction. This walking is good for the dogs - good for Nathan and I gather good for me. Nathan gets tired after. Me, I am not feeling it yet.

I want to watch From tonight on Paramount. I had let it go and just resubscribed. I am not looking forward to the Fall but I bet when the pool cover is on the dogs will. It is like a trampoline effect. It is so much fun to watch. 

Dogs with the coolness likes to snuggle all over me and into the blankets. Our air is still on. I do hope we get 1 more day of swimming.

Dogs did a hide and seek game today with toys and they were as excited about the toys as they are with treats. It was a blast!!

Laughing Dogs

Here is a mini gallery. I have been grooming till now so it's a bit truncated. Sorry! Tomorrow I also have a long day so the blog will be late again.

We are excited to have Charlotte and Jamie back for an extended visit.

Nathan and I did take a walk with a couple of dogs despite my schedule. Can't have any excuses, can we.

Dennis is fretting as the leaves are falling and he doesn't want to deal with leaves. Can't stop mother nature, can we?

I am off Tuesday. 

Dogs played and played and played today. Each time that I watched them between grooming, they were playing and yes laughing or shall I say actually smiling but you get the point.

Dennis ran with the dogs for an extended period of time and they are exhausted. Now it is tv time. I want to watch FROM that I think came out today but doubt I can tonight. Maybe Tuesday. They can and are watching TV with Nathan. I think Nathan has more time than me - naps, tv etc. 

Just like that the weekend is gone.

I have to organize my desk. I have a tremendous amount of dogs to do tomorrow and Monday. 

We are walking daily with a few dogs daily. Nathan got his MRI scheduled and colonoscopy. Joy for him. 

As soon as the pool is closed, we are going to blow leaves in a pile so the dogs can have fun. I will mulch with our mulcher lawn mower and throw in in the garden bed. I am NOT looking forward to winter. 

We had the bunny rabbits out walking with mom. I guess mom is getting used to the dogs. Would think it was rather late on rabbits to have babies in the season but maybe not. I haven't googled that. 

The dogs now play a game that each time I get up in the middle of the night they take my spot. It is a joke getting them to give me room. 

Hey - just another day....

Dennis is waiting for the rain to come so he doesn't have to water his grass. LOL

The rest of the dogs are enjoying the weather and breeze.

Oh Oh

Oh oh Sherry is going to kill me. Harlow is not here but Hallie is showing Murphy how to bark and chase the rabbits. I shut her down but she looked at me as if to say WHAT?

It was cloudy all day and now the sun is out.

We took 2 dogs for a walk. We will do this daily till the snow flies for Nathan's sake. It was fun and good for even me.

I noticed leaves are starting to fall. Oh my - already. All Dennis is complaining about is the pool should be closed so I don't have to clean leaves in the pool. What can I say...

The boys are silly crazy playing and jumping all over each other. Dennis just finished feeding and is about to run with the dogs. They do love it so!

Man of the Hour

Dogs are having fun. Maki just departed. Cassie is arriving anytime. 

Dogs have been playing their heads and bodies off. The day has been fun.

I need to get Nathan walking so we took Rain and Hope. Tomorrow it will be someone else.

No Gallery Day

I took photos all day and had no stick in it so we are gallery free. Sorry.

Next week the cover will go on. This week we hope it remains warm enough to swim. We shall see.

Ms. Harlow departed. She was happy to see her daddy.

Sun is out. It was overcast most of the afternoon. As it is Dennis day off, I am going to do a run with the dogs. Hopefully I will survive.

Warm Monday

This is Brodie. He so loves Nathan through and through. He lives with Brewer and they are as thick as thieves. They depart tonight.

Dennis swears there are racoons at night on our roof. I have not seen but I guess we have to get up on the roof to see. I am not a fan of heights. You?

I had the dogs outside and the neighbour was screaming and I mean screaming. The dogs kept barking at them. So, I screamed will you please stop and it did. Maybe they didn't realize how clear we could hear. Fun... dogs do not like yelling like that. It was really nasty. 

Dennis cut part of the trees and the dogs had fun carrying the branches here and there. I think it drove Dennis nuts. It was funny though!

Day is still nice. We have a doctor calling us shortly and I need to focus on that!

Indoors and Outdoors

Dogs had fun inside and out today. Marcie and Harper were playing like crazy!

It was a wonderfully warm day today - not too hot.

Dogs came - dogs went and well as you can see they play outside and inside.

Dennis was busy trying to take photos of spiders. Apologies to those that hate spiders. 

Nathan has yet another doctor's appointment tomorrow and I have some errands and will be going. I need to get a clear idea of what is going on with his health. They did add B-12 to his regiment. I have groomings tomorrow so I am busy rescheduling. If you do not hear from me, you are good for your timiing.

Pile Up

Nothing like a whole lot of comfort and the dogs took turns piling on Nathan. 

It was a warm day but long day. Dogs had fun. It will soon be tv time and Dennis vowed to do a run with the dogs. Theu so enjoy it. When it is rainy he does it upstairs inside and when it is warm he does it up and down the paths outside. They count on it. It is a great way to expel energy. 

Me Energizer Axel and Dash departed. Mr. Bohham is more low key. Harper is just crazy silly. I could go on but I won't bore you. Dogs had a great day!

Yawn and Fun

Ollie has  departed. He was yawning before pickup. LOL

When dogs come, they have a great time and then they get excited to go home. Here is their dog's holiday where they do camp like things, sleep on our bed, play games and plain just have fun. We try to give them the best time of their lives for a holiday. It all works. Never saw a dog that didn't want to go home. So, if it is their 1st time here, rest easy. It all works. 

Every single dog gets multiple hugs every single day. The only thing they do not like is if I have to get knots out of them and even then I do as gentle as I can.

Momma rabbit didn't move her babies. Harlow laid in the middle bed with Hallie and just watched. They watched from a distance. I was impressed.

Sometimes while I am watching tv, I have many on my laps, on each side of me, on my neck and even my head. I don't usually get neck aches but Nathan seems to. At bed time I sleep under a couple of pillows so the dogs have room above me, to the side of me and every which way. We have a coldest bed on top of our bed and they all race ro that. When Murphy is here she always gets it to herself. hmmmm

Dogs are waiting for dinner. Dennis is feeding late as he had to defrost ground beef. Harlow doesn't whine for her food till its in the fry pan cooking. It must be that smell!

Swimming Weather - 2 Blog Day

This is Harper. We promised her mom that we would take her in to see if she could swim. She was AMAZING! She knew how to get out and was a very strong swimmer.

Finally a day that was warm. That $%^& Fall is coming but let's keep it at bay for a bit.

Pingo departed today. Trying to keep him clean was a challenge but we or I managed it. Both Ollie, Pingo and Brodie and a couple of other dogs wanted to play and play with him. We have a really great group.

Of course there was some jealousy as Harlow had steak so Dennis sprinkled a bit less in every one else's so they didn't feel left out. They also had ground beef too. 

Willow went into the pool - not intended so I had to blow and comb out Harper and Willow. 

Lots of activity today and I think they trampled Dennis' grass. 

I am blogging and eating for 1st time but that's okay! Dogs had fun! It is almost tv time and snuggles!

Happy 12th

This is Harlow. It is her 12th birthday and she had steak added into her meal tonight to celebrate her special day. Harlow is a rabbit and squirrel hunter. She likes the chase and has never captured one but when she sees rabbit babies, she just looks and looks without touching. It would melt your heart to see.

On High Rabbits and Birthdays

Sometimes you just have to get your game on and watch from on high. We have baby rabbits. I thought this was too late in the season but the dogs are going crazy sniffing them out. It must be driving the rabbit mom crazy. Last night Nathan said 6 of them was chasing mom. She may have to move. 

I think Ms Harlow's 12th birthday is tomorrow. She will have to get something extra special as birthday dawgs and humans deserve. 

Tomorrow is hot so we must get Harper in the pool. We shall see how that goes. Pippin is crazy busy playing. It's wonderful!

I didn't get much sleep last night - maybe 3 hours with the debate and after debate commentary. I play catch up tonight. 

Had a dog jump up on my bum and rip a huge hole in one of my fave pants. Can you believe? I can't. What a strange thing to do and it is a regular and never did that before - but thinking about it - it was a head shaking funny moment. Strange - strange - strange. 

2 Blog Day

Ms Coco is on alert as we had a squirrel run by. She was intently watching. 

Dogs are enjoying the warmer weather. We promised to get Harper in the pool in the next warmer days. That should be fun!

Tonight is popcorn, dawgs and a debate and maybe a stiff drink. We shall see how that goes but at least I can snuggle with the dogs.

12 Year Old

Magic is 12 years old. She is enjoying a grand lunch.
