Inside or Outside

Dogs find it cold outside. Melted snow is now ice everywhere.
They enjoy heated blankets when they come in. Yeah, we do that too. LOL
Tomorrow I get to do 2 moms, 7 pups 3 visitors so blogs may be scarce. Wednesday vet visit so another day busy.
So bear with me.
Dogs are all having fun. Today though, they are cuddled in with Nathan. Some actually watch the TV and some do not. It is interesting to see who does.
Comfort

Sometimes you are comfortable where you are comfortable and this happens to be our tv stand. LOL
Maury is here visiting his canine mom, Spirit and us. He is having a total blast but now he is napping with Nathan along with Harlow and a bunch of others keeping him warm, I imagine. I am sitting typing away feeling cold. Nathan reduced the inside temp and I feel like I need a jacket. Something about mumbling about the gas bill. LOL
That's okay. Soon I have to bathe and trim Maury and he will be in my grooming area with dryers going and it will feel warm.
I am going to have to buy blankets as they go on sale. The dogs really don't but I do or I need to gain some hair all over. Right....become a dawg!
Still Snow But Not Much

Ah look who has arrived. Of course Bailey is curious and enjoying.
Our visitors that arrived late missed their naps with Nathan. Tomorrow is a new day. Nathan is still napping.
Harlow is still wanting food from Dennis each time he eats. She is a riot. I can be across the house and know when Dennis has food and Harlow is asking for some. It makes me so laugh.
The dogs are having so much fun.

This little monkey turned one today and shared his birthday cake with his best buddy Maximus!
Happy Birthday Knuckles!
Snow Day

Dawgs are having a ton of fun. They are enjoying the snow despite it being wet. It beats mud.
Ms. Coco just departed. Rocky will be departing shortly.
I think Harlow thinks she is starving so I gave her a greenie. Then she looked at me as if to say - well that was small you cheap human. LOL I swear I could hear her say that to me. She will have to make do with ground beef and cheese tonight.
Bailey LOVES greenies. She took hers right into the open crate with her back to the outside till she was done. Did she think someone would take it? Good for her. Everyone gets one.
Nathan thinks the dogs love me as I am the treat lady. He always insists the dogs love him the best. I laugh.
We have light snow going on but nothing to really speak of now. We shall see what tomorrpw brings. Can we have a rip roaring storm so we can d
Raining and Play

This was Bailey, Oakley and Maki. Sorry for the blur. Maki has since departed. Dennis took the photos but you can get the spirit of the play despite the blurriness. I didn't want to leave them out.
Bailey and Maki had a groom. Bailey will go shorter when she departs but for now I like her this length so I will enjoy, LOL. Even longer her hair is easy to manage. Despite the amount she plays, she rarely gets a knot.
Maki playing with his mom Ella.
Maki was here just for the play and groom and he brought so much fun. Bailey is a major player and so is Oakley so it is easy to see why they were playing their hearts out.
Amy was also here and Mr. Brewer had his groom for departure tonight. Mr. Brewer likes to muck it up in the mud so he really needed it.
It's a little tricky to keep them clean as it is raining. Oh, I am sure you are surprised that it is raining. Well, then again perhaps not. You would be surprised that it is NOT raining. Well, I would be.
Mr. Buddy is really enjoying Truffie. Truffie and him and real pals. Buddy likes the others but they have something going on - the best pals thing. It is nice.
Siapoa and Dimsum are attached at the hips but they do play with the others. I think with the rain, they are playing a great deal in the house. Outside they are investigating. The dogs love outdoors but not with rain. So - here inside we play, rest and enjoy!
Relationships

Kinsey and Lachlan are thick as thiefs or so it seems. LOL Since birth they seem to be and the relationship continues. It is quite nice to see.
Nathan was at his heart doctor for his 6 month checkup. Dennis was at the opthamologist for his eyes. I was hanging with dogs. Dennis took the photos in the gallery despite having blurry vision.
Some of the dogs are napping with Nathan. Some are hanging all over with Dennis and I.
It appears mighty gloomy outside. Makes you want to wrap yourself with a soft blanket and dogs and nap.

Such a handsome Dude!
What a Day

It has been a crazy day. Not many photos. Murphy gal departed. Maui came and went. Opus, I just finished his grooming just in time. Mr. Ollie departs tomorrow and Dennis is off to the eye dr and Nathan to the cardiologist. Ms Katie was also visiting today!
No snow today and no rain. Bonus! Everyone is out of heat now except Ella.
I just finished grooming so I am trying to get blogs done. In 45 minutes I have to start cleanup before bed - water dishes, dogs outside etc No rest for the weary.
I am so tired, I am not sure what I am typing but it is a day and the dawgs always has fun. Bailey needs a groom and bath in a couple of days. She thinks I can wait. I am not sure I can. LOL
The Dawgs

I have a corrupted memory stick so was only able to get some photos from yesterday and today. many were lost. Sorry. I need some new memory sticks.
Here is the gallery but realize there are many lost. This gal, over the next few days will be bathed as she just is mucking it up so much and needs it.
The photos that had Murphy laying on top of the crate under the table are lost and when I asked her - why not try on top of that crate again? She looked at me like I was an idiot. I suppose I am thinking she would do it again.
Oh well - dogs played. Maui comes tomorrow. Winston and daisy came today. Charlie departed. Think maybe Opus is departing tomorrow - have to look - Ollie the next day? Girls are almost all out of heat so normalcy?
No mud - that's a good thing but it is cold. No snow in sight.
Let's Play Today

It is a quieter house. I am not grooming today - zilch. I will play catch-up tomorrow. Every now and then we all need a day off and besides Dennis has me binge watching this really terrible show (dogs all over me in the recliner - had 8 dogs on me) and now I am on season 2. Every now and then you have to watch trash, I suppose or then again not!
The dogs are having fun today but it feels bitter cold out there. No mud so no muddy floors. That is also why I can take the day off. Tomorrow is busy.
Sherry dropped off Murphy and brought me this HUGE banana split. Oh my gad am I feeling stuffed but oh it is a mighty treat to get Dairy Queen which is now closed in Richmond Hill.
We handed out dental chews from the vets and not all enjoy. It is interesting on who likes - who doesn't. It's a real hit or miss here.
Skylar departed after her nap with Nathan. Naps are important and some dogs - visitors too really enjoy the afternoon nap. It is their choice - to nap upstairs or not and he invites - who comes or doesn't is up to them.
It may be cold but more enjoyable than mud or too much snow. :-)
Busy Day But Fun

We have been so busy with puppy visits but still as you will see in the gallery, the dogs are having an immense amount of fun.
I was going to do this blog after grooming but I decided to do it before in case I forget. Thankfully Sherry would remind me, at my request considering sometimes this blog doesn't seem to publish sometimes and stays in draft mode.
Dennis has me watching the stupidest show that got cancelled called The Mick on Disney Plus. It's so bad but as he says you can just listen to the dialogue as you are grooming. I laughed. The ipad playing something on it seems to be calming for the dogs too.
Dennis tried to do the hide and seek game outdoors tonight but its too dark or they were just not interested. I look forward to it not getting dark so early. It cuts into the dogs fun outdoors with us. Oh well...
Cold weather but no snow or rain - bonus!
Still Wet But Getting Colder

The dogs had more time outdoors to run outside as it hardly rained.
Today was a very busy day that hasn't stopped. We had pups, moms to get groomed. We have puppy visits tomorrow. That means floors will have to be cleaned at last moments if mud is still outside. Then after puppy visits, I have 3 dogs to groom.
As I will be grooming late, I may be doing a short blog here. On Sage and Misty blog, I will do the morning on one and the afternoon visit on the other.
With colder weather coming, I will be able to take more photos and do less mud cleanup.
Dogs arrived - dogs departed and we still have gals in heat so it will be interesting during visit time as gals have to be kept separate. We shall see how that goes.
It is dark outside. It is tv time and well for me it is grooming time so enough said.
Rain Rain Go Away

It is so wet outside and yes, I washed a dog today and then they came inside muddy as ever so bath again. Oh boy....
I never thought I would be hoping for white stuff but I am.
We are emptying out. Tomorrow more depart.
The dogs are having leftover steak tonight mixed in with their food. I bet they eat their bowls clean.
We showed the pups to the adults and they were very excited.
Dennis washes the floors and he is getting mighty sick of doing it every night only to have it a mess after breakfast. It is what it is!
We are also cleaning beddings nonstop. Got to love it.
But the dogs - well they are having fun - why? They don't clean up. So laughing!
Another Rainy Muddy Day

Kora says who wants to go out in that?
We have hardly any photos as it is simply miserable out there. Usually Brewer loves the dreary weather as long as it is not pelting down but he even opted for a nap with Nathan vs running around outside. Most followed Brewer's position that it is nicer and dryer indoors. Plus naps are mighty enjoyable. Ask Nathan. LOL
Tomorrow we have 3 Coco's departing - yes 3. One departs Friday. I think Coco is a popular name. I think tomorrow is a mostly mass exodus day. Friday a few more and puppy baths and all that fun!
Fun Play

Oh the fun of the play!
Sometimes you catch the play and sometimes not. But when you do, you have a memory and a smile.
I think it may be the last warm day. I may be wrong.
Tomorrow more depart - more baths and well I miss the dogs when they go - call me crazy but I just do. They each have their own unique personality. They make you smile. Exhausted yes but the memories!
Tomorrow Brewer and Reggie arrives. Mr Bean what a fun and delicious boy departs. Noah and Zoe experts in the games will be missed. Then Thursday most depart. What a grand holiday it has been, filled with laughter, getting crushed in bed and dogs walking over your body while you try to sleep. Let's not forget muddy feet and well muddy floors.
Inbetween the Rain

It seems like we are going to have rain off and on all week. Joy - not.
Got a message that Ty's mom Julie is bringing her own shepherd pie. She makes the absolutely best shepherds pie I have ever had and she can't tell me the recipe as she says she just makes it up as she goes. I think I may die and go to heaven today. LOL Yes, it is that good!
Dogs are now about to go outdoors again as it is not raining. I have washed so many dirty paws that I created a large bin that is shallow so they can walk through with soap and another rinsing but I am not sure it is easier than carrying each into the tub to do their feet. Mud mud go away. I feel like we are lost in spring.
Dennis was busy hiding treats today and someone was finding each. Now who has the best nose? Could it be Bailey? Had to stop her as we didn't want her getting an upset tummy. What a smart gal
Happy New Years

Ms Riley has departed and so has Maggie, Lucky and Socks. It is hard to believe it is 2023 and it is still raining. Much play was indoors today.
Ms Leti is still here and has managed to reinstate herself as the queen. I am so laughing.
Despite the muddy cleanup of dogs and floors, it is a good day or we are adjusting to the mess and cleanup that must occur.
It is a good start to a new year. We ate leftovers - well Dennis and I did. Nathan had steak that he shared with the dogs.
New Year's Eve

Chloe has departed after her grooming. I swear she is smiling! It has been raining all day long. It is muddy as ever. We are mostly indoors. Joey and Katie depart tonight. Many depart tomorrow.
We got chinese food for lunch and will eat leftovers tonight. That works. I may even have a gin and tonic.
I just finished all my grooming - for now and am going to get the blogs complete so I can have a wee bit of downtime before dishes and then bed. :-)
Happy New Year, everyone. I hope 2023 brings you great things!
