Waiting for the Teeth Lady

Murphy says can I have my treat tonight? Yes, Murphy. No anesthesia and that's always a good thing where you can. Some arrived tonight ahead of the storm. Do you think it will actually come to be? We don't.

Tomorrow Ollie gets his final bath and teeth and departure. What an exciting day for him. :-)

Ms Tenshi is here. It's been forever. I heard she ran through the door and said I am off to play. Mr. Chester is playing Romeo. He has competition as Pablo os Mr. Romeo too! LOL Mr. Ripley arrived and took over his spot. It happens to be Brewer's spot so Brewer and Ripley is sharing. Imagine that!

Ms Sadie arrived and got to meet Kinsey and the rest of her relatives including her Momma and ask me if she knew her Mom and if her mom knew her. She even corrected her saying enough. Sadie was so excited. They are spooning in the tv room as I type. Wow....

That's it for tonight. Lots to get ready and organized for tomorrow. Going to be a busy day bit lots of beautiful teeth at the end.

Teeth Cleaning Still On

If you are worried about the storm, drop your dog off today. Of course we will charge the usual $40 overnight fee but that is not why we are suggesting. Anything to give you peace of mind. 

Warmer

It was such a cold day yesterday that it felt damp, cold in the house. We put a portable heater on to help keep the air warm for the pups. I am glad that did not last. Sure, it is still cold but nothing like yesterday.

The dogs still played outside many times but for short periods. 

Ms Chase is not departing till tomorrow as their flight got cancelled. It means we get her an extra day. 

Shlomo and Ollie play and play with everyone. They make you happy watching! Ms Tia and Amy was here for the day. It's a quieter house since holidays have passed. But we also have 2 sets of pips and the Kinsey. The Kinsey jumps in mid air to greet you. What a personality.

Thank you, Dorothy for the soup truly. I was busy cleaning Tempie so I missed you. Hope Nathan was a good susbstitute. LOL

Extreme Cold Alert

katie is on watch. Chase is on an investigation. It is too cold to stay outside.

Kinsey goes out like she is one of the big guys but comes in quickly as it is too cold. She has become our main greeter as we condition her to people coming to the door. She will come out to the hall wagging her tail a mile a minute. She is a happy puppy as I suspect the 11 are. She has adjusted to sleeping on the bed. Barking dogs if anyone comes to the door doesn't bother her. She loves everyone and everyone seems to love her with certain dogs being more smitten. Misty seems to now know she is staying.

I am still playing recovery. I sat on the recliner with Tempie and Spirit on my lap while their pups slept and Dennis was playing with the dogs and I woke up 10 minutes later. It is my fault as I watched pups and took videos. I feel like a crazy new momma too and Nathan doesn't get it. He says Dennis is watching - just SLEEP. LOL

We have the dental clinic Monday. Isn't it nice Tempie cooperated? 

Chase departs tomorrow evening - will miss and well Kinsey will miss too. Ollie may be departing on Monday after dental.

Dennis wants to do the hunt for the treat game tonight. It will be fun. Beats freezing outside. 

Not Many

We apologize. Not many photos today. Kinsey goes outside each time but doesn't last as long.

Kinsey spent time with Pepper and Chase mostly but she seems to also independently play.

We had Rocky, Chloe, Bonham and Pepper here. I did take a nap in the recliner while Nathan and Dennis took dogs to the couch or upstairs for bed. I wanted to be proactive due to Tempie.

Everyone is enjoying themselves just not high energy today!

I Give Up

Today Puppy Ollie departed. Kinsey remains. Dennis and I tried to get photos of Chase playing. Each time I go to click, she would stand like a statue as if to say - what do you want? I found too much stress trying. It will happen when it does. I hate staging photos. Chase is not the only one. I spend so much time attempting capturing and some simply stand still when you grab the camera. Sorry... She does it enough that it will happen. LOL

Change of Scene

Chase is funny. Kinsey, the wee pup jumped on her back and Chase growled under her breath and then looked around and went oh its you. Then Ellie arrived for grooming and took the pups over. Now that Ellie has departed, they are awaiting dinner side by side. It looks like the wee pups are popular.

Rosey was also here and was playing mostly with Nami and her mom. It will be interesting to hear how she reacts to Elvis when she sees him soon. 

It is downright bitter cold. Pups only went out for a short time. I put ice cubes on the freshly cleaned floor and the pups and adults went nuts. Hmm it is cold outside and you still like ice cubes? 

Dennis is going to run the halls with them tonight. Me, I might crash on the recliner.

As you probably know, the pups are now in with the older dogs. Chase thougt they were gremlins yesterday. Today Chase decided they can be fun. Many think of them as gremlins. 

Mr Reggie and Harlow is departing this evening. Ms Tempie got a bath for a xray tomorrow. Me, I am still very tired - maybe grouchly. LOL

The dogs want dinner? How do I know? They gather around the counter top. We don't usually feed till 430-5.

Thank you to Nathan and Dennis the dogs had a LOT of fun today. Remy has departed. 3 pups departed. Two full grooms occur as soon as i am dine here and I need to uploaded videos for the other blogs. Please be patient. It was an usually busy day. Can't wait to cuddle with dogs in bed. 

As it was so cold out, Dennis did a hunt for the treat game. Yes, there are winners but he makes sure EVERYONE gets a treat. 

Shlomo was the huge winner today finding 5. Chase found 4. LOL Ollie found 4 too but knows the drill too well and wanted mire. They are small treats so not to worry. We do this to stimulate their senses and plain have fun and they do. It takes more time for Dennis to hide the treats than anything else.

Messy Dogs and Play

After this blog, I have to brush out the dogs. What a schedule but we have to do what we have to do. Okay, I need to do what I have to. Poor Nathan is trashed as he is used to naps and he is not getting any. One has to laugh. At least he's not brushing out dogs.

It is cold out and as the week goes on, it is supposed to get even colder. I am also washing Remy tonight for tomorrow's departure just in case Spirit does something. I will freshen him up tomorrow.

Soon Ollie and harlow will go and I need to figure that out too.

Shlomo dislikes his teeth cleaning. Every time I comb him out he gets his teeth cleaned and it's as if he says to me - really? I can't give him a treat after as what is the point of the brushing? Maybe I need to give him the treat first then brush. LOL

Despite the craziness, Dennis had played running games inside. He is now feeding and they are enjoying. They are also barking for their supper. LOL

Mighty Cold

If dogs could talk they would say, are you bleepin kidding me? They simply don't want to stay out long. Can you blame them? Chase, who is pictured above was back up on the deck to come in despite Dennis trying to make it fun for them. This has been some winter weather this season.

Ms Daisy and Ms Daisy departed today. Yes, we had 2 daisy departures today. One was a play day and one was here for a few days. Karen, who owns black and white Daisy brought scones and tea. She made them herself and I do believe they are the best scones I ever did taste.

Thanks go to St George's pups for sending us cookies. Now to figure out how to get them. LOL

We washed the pups departing tomorrow early so now I can invest time with Ms Spirit who is on her own time journey.

Icy Outdoors

This is Barney and Bonham out investigating. There are not many action photos but that is due to the ice that seems to appear today. Dogs are smart. They won't run when it is like this. Mr. Bonham really likes investigating just like a few of our dogs. Smell here, look here. I think I see something. I think it was a dmell fest today as you will see in the gallery.

Dogs are having fun. I have been grooming whenever I can. I have prepped dogs for 7am tomorrow grooming and pray Spirit cooperates. Maybe I will get up at 6am. LOL

Checkout Spirit's Page as we are in juggling mode but we had dogs come, depart and will depart tomorrow. I may do them late tonight. We will figure it out as I have so many other things to do.

Dogs didn't enjoy the cold wet standing water in the backyard and there was some if that but as I am typing they are running the halls with the chase game. It is so fun to see them enjoying each other and simply having a great time.

Long Day Short Blog

I just now finished grooming at started at 7am. I now have to do blogs and attempt to finish stuff for pups starting to depart on Friday. My grooming schedule is about the same each day so... it is what it is.

Thank you to Ronnie for bringing a lasagne. Really was thoughtful.

Dogs are departing today, tomorrow etc. The holiday is concluding.  Thursday pups 3 have to be washed. Think Ollie is going on Sunday. That means Sunday at 8am he gets bathed before the pups departs.  We have pups departing Sunday at 11, 1 and 3 and it usually takes an hour and 15 minutes so hoping his departure is around thise times as taking photos and videos is important too.

I sound off I know. I am simply tired. I have blogs to finish and bags to finish for pups and food doesn't get in till Thursday. Not enough waking hours.

I will tell you that despite it all the dogs are having fun. Nathan and Dennis took photos and videos. I had no time with the pups. I was a top nag to get videos so we are severely short in that department.

You see most often its Dennis or Nathan that take photos of the adults with a little of me. It is all me with the pups with every now and then a video from Nathan. I nagged and nagged Dennis to take puppy videos. He thought 1 was enough. LOL It was THAT kind of day.

I am extra busy this week as pups are going home and well, I am grooming and not making headway with the pup stuff.

Lots of restrictions again with 5 people max can visit. Not that we ever have visitors since the pandemic but I wonder how that affects puppy pickups. Dennis said he will go outside so we can add a person. LOL

A number of dogs departed and that is why I am so late as I am doing grooming from 7am on.

Nathan is watching tv with dogs. I am blogging and trying to upload videos and well I envy Nathan - really.

Dogs had fun today. They always do.

New Year Indoor Play

Very few photos today. It happens at times. We are down the the crunch before pups depart. So, apologies.

We had a fun night doing hunt the treat and the run game plus tv time. Nathan went to bed early with dogs that wanted to go early and I went up a bit later. The streaming of the New Year's festivities in Canada was lousy, I must say or maybe it was just me. I had a tall gin and tonic with lime to ring in the new year.

Tomorrow Coco departs so she is my 1st grooming. Charlie gets a groom out as he is a bit dirty but they said no bath unless he really needs it so I will blow him out with waterless bath and do a quick clean up.

Ms Daisy arrives and she will have fun. It is also our grandson's Elijah's birthday but he lives in the states. We will facetime. Benny is arriving tonight - yes a different Benny. We are excited.

I hope everyone had a great New Year's eve and day. The dogs had a blast but we always make sure they do.

PS: Nora is jealous of Shady too. LOL

The weather is still inbetween so we are playing inside more than outside.

We have some fun things planned with the dogs. As we do with the pups, we will do some run games. I have treats I will be hiding and no one misses a treat, even if they can't find them all. They seem to enjoy the game. The idea is to work their minds. We will also have tv time but that's an every day thing that they enjoy.

I did some brushouts. Nathan is putting in some steak to their meals - yum yum for them and yes good quality. LOL

I can't believe that in less than 8 hours it will be 2022.

I hope the new year brings many smiles for each of you. No matter what goes on - havanese make out hearts skip a beat and I hope it does the same for you. To a better new year.

Shall I go out? Shall I go in? In the gallery you will see my bulbs starting togrow. Even the plants are confused about this weather.

I comb out and they look a mess minutes later. Ollie who had a bath a couple of days ago looks like he never had one.

In laps, out of laps. Everyone says it's almost New Year's Eve. What fun things do you have planned? I started figuring out places for treats. We will do a hunt. We will do running games inside as they say it will be warm and raining tomorrow. I want to eat something good and ring in teh New Year but I will probably snore my way in. How about you?

One thing I am sure of is in bed I will have a mound of dogs surrounding me. Now that is special and a grand way to say hello 2022.
