Visits Today

Rusty and Patches came for a visit and they had a really great time. Me, I am not sure. I have been so busy I can't stand it but I still managed to smile. Dear old Ella jumped in the pool, had to dry, then jumped in again and had to dry. Brie jumped in the pool and then we dried. I was going to take Patches but all this drying I ran out of steam as I also had a full house in the grooming department. This was the extras. 

We did manage to get in Rusty but right after that I headed in to dry Ella then dried her yet again.

We also managed to take out Cookie the rescue and the two pups (Saffron and Murphy) for a walk. We will do it again tomorrow but here is the video. Cookie and Murphy walked fine but that Saffron was a jumping bean.

I tied up Brie's hair and I rather like it. I may do the same to Colby. Everyone is doing really, really well.

Looks like we are not going to Sudbury on Friday. Paula is heading to Newmarket on Monday and we are meeting her then. This will save us a trip. 

Besides, Truffie has a gal coming for him on Friday. If this house wasn't crazy enough but we look forward to it.

Shake It Off

Logie is doing a Taylor Swift move on the table. If you look in the gallery both Panda and Logan are a disaster after playing. They got a 2 brushout day experience and the brushed photos are after the wild play. Check out the gallery.

We keep getting sun, cloud, sun. I am grooming a lot. 

Today Brie and Colby come. We are excited. Friday we take Envy back. In a week the gals are out with the crew and watch Leti and Panda will come in. Yeah, I am laughing. 

Risa got a wash today and a trim. When I say trim I took off the hair dragging on the floor. hahahaha She's great to groom. She just wants the treats!

Everyone is playing their hearts out and then chillin watching tv with Nathan. Me, I am grooming and clicking and blogging. 

Got to get sanding doors and staining. Hoping I get that done before pups.

Day Off

It's raining. I decided no galleries today. 

It was cloudy/sunny this morning but it soon turned into heavy rain.

Teddy departed and his mom brought us 2 mugs as a present from her trip. How nice to think of us. Coffee will be brimming from them tomorrow. They are nice thick ones so I imagine they will hold the heat well. It's a necessary thing in this house. I have mugs that are so thin that the coffee needs to be topped up constantly to keep it warm. Why? I pour a cup, we feed the dogs and then its cold. I top it up, we take the dogs out, its cold and I top it up again. Then we clean the dishes, answer the door and I top it up again. I know wait until you are done and then make coffee but then grooming begins. 

It is so funny what we appreciate. A thick mug, coffee that wakes you up and tastes good (yes we like it black) and then when you do get to go out and sit on the deck you have dogs jumping all over you and you wonder how people do it when its so quiet.

I need the down time but not without dogs. I can't imagine. Plus can you imagine the kisses I get each morning? It's wonderful. Then when we go to bed each gives you a kiss, a snuggle, a play session so that 10pm bedtime turns into 11 or 1130. It's a dawg life!

Love my GrandKids: 2 Updates

Here's the gallery from today. I didn't get that many photos as I was investing my time in talking vs clicking. Something about a camera gets you away from that. So, I hope you don't mind. Didn't get everyone.

Update Late

We have good news. Danielle has been cleared to be able to swim. She is still not willing to have anyone see her with her ostomy bag except family but she is coming up and we are going to make it a truly fun time for her. So, I will be updating late if at all. 

We also went to a party last night in Oakville for our sister-in-laws birthday (Dennis stayed home and took care of the dogs). Her daughter (our niece) is also engaged so it was a party and we were the ones representing our side of the family. Ella came too to represent the havanese and oh my what a hit she was. At first she saw all those legs and her tail went down. Then a minute later someone said hi and up it went and there it remained. She was kissing everyone. She said hello to all. Everyone marvelled at how calm she was and couldn't believe she was a puppy. She was such a hit.

On Friday Nathan and I will return Envy doing a day trip and we are still figuring out if Cookie will remain here or go up to Sudbury. We rather like him.

Jeannie's Out

She had her bath and now she can be with the non heat gals and boys. Jeannie, it will be wonderful to have you sleeping with mom again.

Rafi was playing with Truffie and Inula half the morning. Teddy was a riot today. He was trying to hunt a rabbit with Brewer. Yes, we seem to have a rabbit that comes into the yard and they were I swear trying to play with it. The rabbit didn't know what to think. 

Only the gals, Nathan and I went into the pool today. I was grooming all day so I needed a break where I didn't have to brush even more. Hoping to get more in the next few days especially just before baths. :-)

It was a great day and soon we will be watching tv draped in dogs. It's quite the life!

Fun Day Today

Dallas will join Saffron and Murphy tonight to head to class. Dallas had a bath and a play day. She's managed to have a ton of fun.

We also had a full day of play and hanging out. Its a no swimming day as it is barely warm enough but they say heat by the end of the week. Days are going by way too fast. Got to go rent a sander and do my doors before pups come. I so need some downtime though. heh

Cookie is adjusting but confused if that makes sense. 

Visitors are having a total blast. Maddie arrived early this morning. I do believe she was excited. Rafi was glad she was back. He rather enjoys something about her - maybe her crazy play? Teddy seems to have a bounce in his step. Everyone is eating 'well' as if they can't wait. It must be all that play.

Heh

Hope everyone had a grand holiday weekend. I just received this in mail. Ty was up at the cottage and this is the stance he took after a long weekend. :-)

Had a lot of grooming today. I look forward to chilling out after everyone departs. Roxie is so looking forward to warmer weather, no heat and swimming. Benji departs tonight. He will be missed.

Teddy found my lap and just fell asleep in it after hunt the noise game. I think we had some birds fluttering in the plants and well some thought this was a delightful game. No harm. No one caught. Just a seeking game. Rafi just plowed on through trying to lead the pack. heh

It Wants to Rain

Cookie is the dog on the left. 

Today it spit rain. The sun came out and we played a great deal. I also groomed a lot so you will see in today's gallery dogs brushed and not brushed as I groomed and clicked and groomed and clicked. Nathan just finished his nap. I think I will or at least lay on the couch with some dogs. I am tired.

Tia departs tonight. She's always a true pleasure. The Brewski took a liking to Cookie. Cookie took a liking to Ella. Who doesn't go after Ella... heh 

They ran. They played and the dogs and we are enjoying the cooler weather. Its actually comfie to sit outside. Now if I only had a bed out there I may sleep outside too. 

Even Old Ladies Play

Risa enjoys a play session or 2 or three at times. Here's today's gallery. Had a problem with a memory stick so only have 50+ photos. The dogs played. Some went home. Teddy arrived and is excited, playing and at this moment sitting with Dennis. He really likes Dennis.

We also got Cookie the rescue here as we need to find him a home. Maddie departs tonight and Tia tomorrow. 

No one swam except Dennis. We had a flying furniture storm last night but we did not have any damage. I had a number of baths including Inula who really is a huge job.

We have been busy. I wish the heats were over and I had down time. Just some time to do nothing but what I want. 

Just a day but I had smiles watching the play!

Stormy Times

Rains coming! Let me inside. No one, I repeat no one was afraid. It went boom. The wind was great. The rain came down. Things blew around and the dogs were fine.

No pool today. Mostly everyone departs tomorrow. It has been a busy weekend but quieter times coming. 

Was this a long weekend? Time to snuggle up with Nathan and the dogs and watch some tv. It's that sort of a day. 

Rain or Not?

Miss Maddie is having a great time. This is a Panda baby, Clarity's sister. She should have been called Miss Full of Life! She runs like the wind and loves to play chase me game with the dogs. She is a riot! Miss Panda still knows her. How nice!

This is our newest champion, Miss Ella. She is a Roxie puppy. Her mom is in heat right now and will be bred to Envy when Nathan returns. They will have beautiful pups. As a matter of fact the 3 breedings we are considering is highly exciting. Why do it otherwise. But really we should see some really nice pups from these connections. Much to look forward to this fall.

It's Hard Work

Jesse is the big dog socializer. He had been so good for the dogs. If they react, he ignores. But its hard work ignoring the munchkins. Will have to get a photo of the pups with Jesse. It's been so busy today so I hardly have any photos. I do so apologize. 

Frankie and Leo depart tomorrow. It had been an excellent trip for them. Both Murphy and Saffron adore having Leo hang out and play with them. Frankie has fit in with the bigger guys rather nicely. He is still so attentive to Leo but I believe he liked the bigger guys as well.

Sorry for the short blogs and no Spice blog. I did get the class items up but once the siblings depart tomorrow, I will just go back to updating Adele's and this blog till the siblings are together or we have class. This will be less updates for me.

No one swam today. It spit water from the sky but went away after we gathered all the cushions up - of course.

Swim and Chill

As Nathan is most likely off to breed Adele tomorrow, we had to fit in Maddie and Sadie swimming. I could take them but then who would click their photos?

Sadie is a really strong swimmer but when it came to going back in she was having none of it. We don't ever force the situation. The goal is enjoyment. I will try her again when she goes home if she shows interest. Maddie seemed to like it and swam well. 

It was a tad cooler and the dogs appreciated the breeze. Everyone has become accustomed to Murphy and soon Rafi will arrive and will have to do a meet and greet. He will adjust as well. 

Silly me just realized this weekend is a holiday.

Sorry its been a long day. Here's a gallery of photos clicked today. I didn't even look - just added them in so if someone is squating - sorry. Did a lot of dog things today playing and having fun. Sat outside in the heat and they say=t out for a short time with me. I had to do 2 sessions each time - gals in heat and everyone else. 

No one liked the heat so it will be nice for it to be cooler tomorrow. Will it be?

Frankie and Leo arrived. Both fit in well. Jesse and Murphy are here. Some went crazy barking at Jess the collie. He ignored. Good boy. Great socialization for the rest.

Abs and Bentley depart tomorrow. It was a quick visit but a good one! The dogs missed Abs too. Bentley was great to have ans watch as he looks so much like her.

Ella Bella Championship

Dear Ella Bella got winners bitch this morning for 2 more points. Then winners bitch this afternoon. She now has her championship at under a year old exclusively shown by Nathan.

As this is truly a handlers show in a big way, these were rather amazing wins. Ella is a nice dog or she would not be able to pull it off. :-)

Inula beat a 4 year old fully coated dog today. Plus she got a Group 4. Nathan won breed with Inula and due to a conflict with Ella, our friend and owner handler Beverly Vinnels took Inula into the group win and got a group 4. 

Nathan won't be going tomorrow as he wants to make class and Friday he can't as he has to do progesterone and driving to Sudbury.

It was a nice surprising great win across the board.

Abigail and Bentley Visit

Here is Abigail sporting a short hairdo. She's made herself at home as if she never left. She's marking up a storm to stay I am the boss. Of course this is outside. She cuddled up to Dennis. 

Bentley is in LOVE with Ella. I have to laugh as he is not the only one.

Sadie who LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to play said not in this heat. Pool - are you kidding? It's as if they couldn't make the leap that the pool would offer them some relief.

I have a bunch of Abigail and Bentley in this gallery. Sorry but I haven't seen them for quite sometime so I wanted to capture some memories.

Nathan was going to miss the show tomorrow as he thought he may be in Sudbury but it now looks like he's off to the show tomorrow and Thursday and then class Thursday and then we will see what Friday brings.

They say HOT, HOT tomorrow too!

I now have to get Nathan ready for the show, wash the dogs and well see if that gives me relax time before bed. Then we have to get up at 530am - hahahahaha!

Kona Visit

Here is a gallery from today. Kona is a strong swimmer. He went to Nathan 4 times to go in and then he had ENOUGH. Here he was hanging out on the stairs as if to say not again or I need a REST. The 5th time he wouldn't go near Nathan till after he got out of the pool. It was great to see Kathy and Kona and I appreciate her finding the scrub tops for me. Thank you truly. My Walmart didn't have them. Go figure.

Kona also got to see his brother Ty. As usual he was enamoured with the gals. He really, really likes the girls and who can blame him.

Charlie and Ty departed. Goldie departs tonight. 

Its been ever so hot. We are hopingto get more dogs in the pool tomorrow but we have to do it early as it is too hot for the dogs and humans.

Tomorrow Abigail and Bentley come - wow its been a long time. So excited!

Pool and Hang Out

Only Ella, Roxie and Ty went into the pool. Ty did great but I am not sure he was into it till after he got started. He is a strong swimmer. 

Hoping to see Kona and his mom tomorrow if everything times out and the siblings will see each other that way.

I have a BAD gopro under/over water video. I have to perfect my skill so just enjoy the good and ignore the bad. It is mostly bad. hahahaha

Today was very hot. The dogs went out and came right back in. They were honestly not interested but they did play in the house.

TV room play!

The ones with Murphy was just before she departed and her mom wonders why she is tired. Had to add them as they are so much fun and didn't get to them yesterday.

This is a short update as I need to wash Adele so she is pretty for the vet.
