Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 5:18PM Only Malla was brushed. I have a lot of dogs that I groomed and many more tonight so no one was brushed out in this photo except Malla who was departing.

We have not seen rabbits for a few days now. No one looks for them either.
Dennis is making dinner as I type.

Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 7:24PM It has been a mighty busy day today with rain and a dental clinic with 18 dogs. They will be back on Monday I think to do 2 dogs as they didn't get here in time after a long drive. Usually we do some of our dogs too but we had a full house. Till the next time.
Between the dental they played their hearts out. It was mighty busy but we are tired but feel good that so many have white pearly teeth today.
We still have a couple of dogs to depart. I also had groomings so I could crawl into bed now and fall asleep but still too early.
Jamie and Charlotte departed and they are missed. Coco the maltese and Gibson too. We are back to just havanese. Feels strange. We want to thank Jamie and Charlotte's family for the chicken pot pie from Summerhill. I need to shop there one day. Their meals are absolutely wonderful.
We have not seen the rabbits for 2 days now. I hope that means they just left the nest but who knows. It was stress-filled protecting them but glad we did.
Someone is departing as I type. Dogs are barking. What's new?
Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 6:32PM Tomorrow will be a busy day as we are having another dental clinic and I have groomings to do as well so the blog may be short.
We had a ton of fun with the dogs today and many are departing making way for those coming to get pearly whites.
It cooled down today but still nice out. I loved the breeze. How about you?

Lots of warnings but already the rain has stopped. So all bluster - not reality - thankfully as we were under hail and tornado watch. It got up to 80f today. I could have swam. LOL Pools not warm enough though.
We no longer see the rabbits so maybe old enough to leave the nest?
In 2 days we have a dental clinic. It will be a very busy day. That's okay. Lots of pearly whites after that!
Dogs ran around like crazy today. It is Dennis day off so he is in the basement enjoying the VR. It is quiet down there. That is where I go to exercise.
I enjoyed watching the dogs playing their hearts out today. No one reacted to the storm.
Monday, April 28, 2025 at 4:58PM Dogs are enjoying the sun. It is heating up. I need to clean the air conditioner but we have our windows open.
It is election day. We shall see how that goes.
Dennis is busy cleaning the garden with the dogs. They are busy stealing branches he cuts down. It is a riot. The dogs are having fun. Dennis - not so much as he chases the dogs to get the sticks and they laughingly run away. It's a day!
Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 6:32PM Tuff had a grand time. He is such a great dog. But I washed him 3 times as he LOVES to roll in the dirt, grass and foliage. He is a bloody riot. Much to his irritation he had 3 baths as he kept rolling. I learned my lesson. 3rd time he stayed inside and played. I love how he is such a character. I will be glad when all the grass grows in.
Everyone left the rabbits alone today. It was interesting. We just look and they go - okay - what a party pooper those humans are.
Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 4:29PM Getting cold outside today. Rabbits are okay and the dogs are adjusting to us getting them to stop being curious. I will be glad when the rabbits are big enough to move on. We watched them via a camera last night but seems the light bothers them so Dennis removed the camera.
We are slowly getting the pool clean.
It also seems we have a raccoon walking the fence line. Dennis sprayed it today as he was afraid it would go after the rabbits. Not true but we do not want a raccoon around the dogs. So far this afternoon we haven't seen it. We hope it doesn't find our yard as friendly. It needs to be somewhere else. I swear I feel like we live in the country.

Friday, April 25, 2025 at 5:21PM We had a visitor dog chase a baby rabbit into the pool and drive another out of the yard. Some havanese do have prey drive. We did save the one that went into the pool. We are not sure where the other is. I am rather sad. It will be a miracle for momma rabbit to feed the one that went into the pool. I am glad that we saved it but not sure if we just delayed its death. I am rather sad. What a day this has been.
Dogs are enjoying this weather. Dennis is busy trying to get me to get all the remaining plants out.
It is a sad day all around as I found out 2 of my friends has cancer - both stage 4 lung cancer. It has been a day.
Despite all this crap - the dogs had fun.
Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 6:24PM The weather was grand. I decided I wasn't going to listen to Nathan and I filled the pool and I have the cleaner in. Dennis took some of the plants outside and proceeded to leave pieces of plants all over the floors. It was an absolute mess much to the delight of the dogs. He still has the plants in the basement to take out - tomorrow.
Nathan and I decided to treat ourselves to Dairy Queen tomorrow as a celebration of warmer times.
We have much to clean up but we will do a little over time.
I am still exercising and I am at goal. I even have a flat tummy - can you believe. It is the best thing I did for myself - getting healthy.
We have 3 baby rabbits and so far they are okay. Mom comes early morn and evening to feed them. We still have to protect them.
I think the dogs are doing a happy dance with this weather.
MS Tenshi is departing any moment so end of blog. LOL

We are now about to watch tv with the dogs. They had a blast running in this warmish weather. It was delightful out.

Mighty fun for dogs playing here. Tonight they had ground steak cooked up by Nathan. They ate it as if it was yum and I supposed it was.

Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 4:49PM We were out more than in today. It was a nice level of warmness and we wanted fresh air indoors and we got it.
We have a full house due to the Easter weekend. The dogs are having fun and I am reading a book on my tablet. I can only read here and there but it has been forever since I was able to. Nothing more than cuddling with dogs and reading.
Ms Ali just departed. Dennis is feeding everyone.
I am still exercising daily and feeling healthier for it. I do believe I will need a new bathingsuit. The pool is starting to be cleaned. We shall see how long that takes.

I have been mighty busy grooming. I just finished. The rabbits are surviving. They are playing. Dennis ran in the halls with them today as he was too nervous around the pool. The dogs are having a blast!
Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 6:41PM As momma rabbit can't get in and out of there is an xpen out there, we have to protect them at all times as we do have some non havanese that are too keen at getting at them. It's actually a lot of work but it is what it is.
Dogs and us are enjoying this spendid weather.
Then they want to go back in. It is a process but we take them out many many times a day. Fresh air is a good thing.
Plants are growing. We can sit out at times. They go out - they go in. We play games. We freshen up water bowls more times than I can count. Despite going out certain dogs use the pads so those need to be changed out too.
Every single dog is having a great time!
