Oh That Sun

Can you believe I combed him out this morning. I so laugh. He so loves to muck it up. I may cut his bangs tomorrow. 

I am finally well. If you think you are sick, please wear a mask when picking up or bringing your dog. I can not afford to get sick. I have worn one when I needed to answer the door but I no longer need one. Who can afford to get sick but its just Dennis and I this week and I need to be on the top of my game. It felt good to not have a foggy head. I really felt sick despite not being able to rest or I may have got better sooner.

We have Sage in heat - not being bred so we have a lot of who goes where stuff going on in the house. It just complicates it but I can climb tall buildings in a single bound or so it seems. 

The dogs LOVED LOVED being outside today and if I am finding myself with too much time on my hands, I may take the pups outside in the next couple of days. Imagine that!

Nathan is taking the pups out in the hall tonight so I have less to do today. I insisted. 

Dogs just ate and are back outside playing and lazing.

No Gallery Day

Sorry - I am behind as Dennis was sick with a migraine and Nathan was out and about getting ready for his trip. That left me doing everything so no photos have been taken yet. I am sorry. Just too busy with pups, photos, galleries, grooming etc. 

Dogs really enjoyed the weather when Dennis was back up. 

Harlow especially is relishing the warm weather. I wish I was. so laughing....

But I am so happy they are. That does my heart good.

So, apologies but I need to groom then we have pups heading upstairs and there is a lot to be done for that too.

Warm Summer Like Day

It was a warmish summer like day and the dogs enjoyed being outdoors. It is supposed to be like this for an extended period. We will enjoy it and maybe this crud will go away. I am better today. Not whole but indeed a bit better but when I tried exercising, my body revolted. Oh well. 

The dogs are much like us. We like the warmth of the sun and to laze outside as much as the weather allows. It will be too soon that we will get that white stuff.

I also had my mind go crazy thinking maybe Yoshi may have pups while Nathan is gone so I had him take her in for an xray. See her blog for more details. Now I get her morning sickness.

Neo arrived and was a tad hesitant when she 1st came in and then now she remembers and oh another holiday - this can be fun. She is now relaxed and enjoying.

OMG I am so laughing that Coco is Miss Bossy pants today. Each new dog she has to say - see this is what you need to do, what to see etc. She is ever so funny!

I could go on but I won't. I have videos to upload and I am crashing. Apologies.

Outside Warmish

It is a warmish day out. Dogs enjoyed the outdoors. I thought about sitting outside but have a mad amount of chills so not for me. Dennis had them outdoors. Nathan went to M&Ms so I had something quick to eat while Nathan was gone. We no longer have a store around the corner. Closest is in Markham. 

Dogs spent a significant time outdoors today. Harlow lazed on the couch. Others lazed or ran or looked for rabbits. They had a full day.

Me, I am going to find a couch. 3 blogs, at the moment is almost too much. 

I did groom a few but that was a paced experience.

I want to buy soup from Atoosa. Oh my gad I love that soup.

If I am not making sense - sorry... the head is mighty foggy.

Cover Play

Cover was put on today and the dogs really loved that. They ran - they played and had a smashing grand time and yes Benny is still looking for that rabbit. It is hysterical. He doesn't give up and he has pals to help.

Glad I only had a few dogs to groom today. I really need bed but not happening. 

I still am sick. I do not have covid. I have a high fever this afternoon. I am trying to get well as Nathan goes away next week. But get this, while drinking coffee this morning, Nathan tripped, knocked over my coffee, drenched my toast and has a bruise that looks the size of a softball. But he still helped me with a puppy play session in the hall. 

I am doing short blogs. I apologize but to say my head is foggy is an understatement.

Please realize the dogs are in heaven with this cover. Harlow will not walk on it.

Been a Day

Did manage to do a couple of dogs and here I am trying to finish.

Atoosa brought soup and it was an amazing soup - even Dennis ate it and he never does soup other than ramen. Wow amazing!

Dogs are having fun. I am brushing out here and there. Nava had her comb out so she is good for her pickup. Mr. Newt is heading home. Dash and Tessa tommorow and gad willing I am better tomorrow. Benny was acting downright full of it today. He really thinks there is something under our pool house and we can't see what. He has everyone going and it is a riot. Even sick I was laughing. It was a good day despite!

Sorry - I am sick. Dogs departing tomorrow - no worries, I will groom. I will not meet you at the door. Nathan will and I will tell him to mask up. We shall see what tomorrow brings.

Changes

Mr Remy has now departed. We already miss him. Newt has arrived. Maurey departed. Tia and Benji are departing shortly. It is a busy house today.

It has been an insane day - way busy so all blogs are going to be short. I am just plain tired - maybe exhausted - so apologies.

We think some rabbit hunters saw a rabbit dig a hole under our pool house. They alerted us to it and saw this shape go quicker than lightening underneath.

It is a cooler day but the dogs played and played. I am falling behind and now the bleepin washer won't spin so back to trying to fix. The hard drive may be under warranty. It simply won't allow us to extract anything. Dennis will call tomorrow to see if it is. If it is, it will take a month to fix and we have to ship it to them according to their website. We shall see. Maybe hopeful thinking but hope it is all true.

We are now feeding the dogs and outside we will go. 

Not Many Today

Sorry - we are still trying to repair things least of all that $%^& hard drive and it so far is not working but... Dennis didn't take many photos as we were working on repairs and grooms etc

I will try better tomorrow but isn't this a comical photo? I even fed the Nami pups late and I still have to update those blogs and upload videos etc

It was a cooler day and the dogs are relishing this weather. Where did the summer go? Such heat and it just went by too fast. But I do not think the dogs enjoyed the extreme heat but they are relishing the weather now. 

The dogs were hysterical in play. That cool weather appears to be mighty invigorating.

Cooling Down

I trimmed a bit around Coco's eyes as she kept getting discharge from her eye from hair poking in. Whem it is between, it happens but she kept rubbing her face. Once I did that, she stopped. 

Coco is a gal with attitude. She tells you what she needs always.

Harlow is sporting a shorter beard. I may give her a bit of a haircut here and there as I like to not force her to deal with a full groom all at once so I wash them trim here and there. She likes that better. So a 1 day process ends up as a 2 day much like Tia who is not happy with grooming as she is solidly a senior.

Dogs played in and out. Harlow is still coveting the big crate. She rolls her body all in it and we put war, blankets into it daily as she seems to like the warmness. We also put ice in the water dishes. What can I say, we try to make their lives comfortable.

Dash and Tessa are bonded, it seems though they both play with others. Dash is at the age that he is more deliberate and Tessa wriggles her body all over the place. Sometimes Dash says I am done and she listens after about the 3rd time. It is funny. 

Lachlan and Ollie got to play with each other. Brothers enjoy that. Marlee puts up with it but sometimes says ME TOO!

Benny and Marlee have foubd that they have mutual investigation games to play. I think they are looking for rabbits.

Harper well she loves to sit on high and she covets her spots. Ty is having a grand time rolling here and there and enjoying the fresh air. He is very comfortable here.

Socks and Hazel are here an extra night. Our thoughts are with them dealing with a human loss. 

I could go on and on but got laundry to do, dogs to snuggle at tv time and well, I am tired. 

Wet Cool Times

I am so busy brushing out dogs as we had rain and the dogs were caught outside in it and I am tired. LOL What is new?

I had a discussion about a distribution of responsibilities. hahahaha

Harlow had to be drained today and she is doing better but resting today. I even cut her beard short and gave her another bath. She decided to go for a swim and is still a strong swimmer. Who knew but the pool will be closed and I hope she doesn't decide to do that again and yes, it was a choice - not a falling in. She amazes me at times. Glad we are always out with the dogs. 

No one else went for a swim so here is to next year after the heater is fixed.

Dogs have lazed outside, inside and are now watching tv. We finish Murderbot and now finishing Wheel of Time. Guess Fall is coming - oh boy...

Couch and Fun Time

What dogs that join the couch fun is up to them. They love the warmth and the fun hanging out.

We have had a lot to fix. It is far from done including the hard drive. So, not many photos but you can still get the flavour of enjoyment.

Please understand that I am working with issues on the computer. It is a crazy process but I have my laundry going - pool getting closed next week. Lights need to be rewired. Its just so much fun but 1 thing at a time. LOL

Dogs have no clue what is going on. They don't need that stress. 

I will be updating Yoshi's blog today, if it allows. 

As I type, I am still looking out the window and well the dogs are having fun! Me, well not so much.

We have semi fixed the washer. It takes 2 rinses to get it to spin. Still working on the hard drive. Ordered the closing of the pool.

To Update or Not

We will try to update before the hard drive arrives so that may mean before afternoon. 

But in case I can't, dogs have eaten. They are laying outdoors enjoying the weather with Dennis.

They started this day off with immense fun and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Warmish Event Filled Day

No one got brushed out. See my post below. It has been some day. I will start brushing out tomorrow. I did a truncated exercise today - all I could muster in all this fun. 

We have an issue with a washing machine. We had a huge surge that lasted and fried one hard drive and you could smell the burn. We have one that the data is scrambled. A repair lasted all day and now a hard drive will arrive and I will have to be install and I will glean as much data as I can off of the semi fried hard drive. One I know is already gone. This will take a few days. It is just a reality nut we have a makeshift way of doing galleries etc. It is not pretty but doable so you don't miss a day. Can I go to bed now? 

It looks like I do have a washing machine issue, a pump in the pond issue and maybe a pool heater issue. I was blaming the son but it appears it is not working and if it isn't, may as well close and deal with it come spring as I am having way too much fun for even me and I prefer and our bank account prefers to procrastinate even though I needed the swim. 

Dogs had fun. Many departed. Harlow is delighted to have the entire crate with the slideup door to herself. She is funny. 

We are watching MurderBot - quirky, short but gives you a distraction. We will watch tonight and have dogs draped all over us. It is the best!

We had a debate over if dogs prefer cold water over tap water. I say with ice please and many of the dogs do prefer it that way where a few most likely could care less. It is interesting.

WEll, I am done - please understand.Tomorrow, again I will try my best. It is all I can do.

Down for Count

Can't update. We had a massive surge and it took out a hard drive that has MY SOFTWARE FOR GALLERIES, my photos and on and on. It is a 20tb. My computer has been trying to repair since 7am. I had to order a hard drive. It cant come till tomorrow. My ups failed. 

So no photos today. Maybe not tomorrow but I am on my ipad. Otherwise you wouldn't see a post from me. It says 3.38 hours to see if a the repair works on my computer or at least boots up. 

You will see puppy videos as that is in the iphone and on youtube. Everything else, I am afraid not.

Dogs are enjoying this balmy weather. I wanted to swim but my pool was 78f and everyone is denying it was turned down.

Oh well, it is a day. I will update all the blogs minus photos and galleries till I can.

Nice Day But Not Swimming Weather

Not Warm Enough

Was hoping to get in the pool but it simply was not warm enough. Dogs have been playing in a huge way. Coco the Maltese was giving kisses. It was a delightful day but for some reason, I am playing recovery. I wish Dennis had taken more photos, but he didn't. He is now cooking up ground beef for the dogs. We have dogs barking which is interesting trying to take puppy photos.

Never had barking each time I try to take a video. Usually it is a quieter house unless someone comes to the door. We have a boarder getting everyone talking - what can I say and a washer that is clogged. Joy!

But the dogs are still having fun.

Fall Weather

Here is the gallery.

I had just finished grooming Reggie and Dennis insisted on him going out. With his cream coloured coat, I was sure I would need to touch him up but he was fine. Good that he got his play in before heading home. Ms Gucci also went home and she too got her play in. 

The dogs seem to thrive on cool weather but not me. I want more swimming in and they say we are getting warmer in a day or 2. 

I reached my 1 million points in supernatural vr fitness so I will be exercising less. I have lost all the weight I want to and I firmed up my tummy, arms and legs so I can do less but if I need to do more, I can adjust. 

The dogs do love to go out when the weather is cooler. Dennis loves to sit out on the couch with them. I get that. Maybe I will do that tomorrow and he can watch the pups or I can with my ipad. We shall see. 

We have dogs coming and going today and it is quiet tomorrow then busy on Sunday again.

Rain and Busy-ness

In the gallery, I took a few shots of Harlow in her new fave coveted spot she so loves it. This was a fabulous crate we got years ago that has a door that lifts and slides in. It also comes with wheels so you can move it around. Wish they still sold them. Hindsight and all. 

We had the pleasure of Luna and Rusty visiting today. 

It was only 59f today - brrr...

It has been a crazy day filled with busy-ness, As an added bonus, I will reach my exercise goal tomorrow of 1 million points. Then my next goal is only to do what I like and improve.

As of today, I admit I am beyond tired. I think I reached the exhausted stage and I look forward to exhaustion not being a daily thing.

It rained a fair bit today so the gallery is interesting but hopefully enough.

Dogs are having fun but today it was some outdoors but mostly inside.
