Puppy Updates

I am posting both pups here as Marco has the update in Adele's blog.

Here is the gallery of them playing today.

The pups went to bed with us and one was wrapped up against Nathan's head and one on his chest. I always let Nathan get the pups as it so makes him happy. I like that! They stayed in bed sleeping till about 630am and used the pad then slept for another half hour.

Adele's puppy is a 'ta da' I am here gal. Jeannie's is more reserved but we are working on that.

They have spent most of the day with the adults. We did not take the xpen down yet but my plan is to do so tomorrow. We shall see. I am pacing myself and I do have grooming to do for others and my own. The goal is to not have Jeannie's pup reliant on the safety of the xpen. Small conditioning and exposures that are positive help cultivate their coping skills. We are also working on Adele's pup to get her to think before leaping. If an adult growls at her to say I am sleeping she thinks its a game of play. She needs to learn.

It is so interesting to have 2 so different with their own strengths.

The are also not eating up to par. As fun as they are having, I imagine they miss their siblings. This too shall pass till they visit and then it will be fun times!

Jeannie's pup loves the snuggles and the laying on your neck and lap where Adele's is too busy to relax unless she is very tired.

We are in for a fun ride, it seems.

Hope everyone is enjoying their pups. It is a wonderful adventure experiencing life from their eyes.

It is so cute to see Nathan mirroring their individual personalities, just love these shots. Darlah, you post wonderful pics.

They are different personalities and Nathan's expression is reflecting the difference.
The thinker (Jeannie's pup) and the fearless one (Adele's pup)
Both are so cute makes me want to have a snuggle with both.

Those pictures are fabulous! You capture so much...such a talent. It's incredible that you and Nathan see so much in these little ones actions and are able to treat them accordingly....years of study will do that!

Looking forward to the naming of these 2 .
