Class Photos

Here are just a few photos fron class. Sorry - not up top it today with foot like it is. I am actually going to elevate the foot and go lay down till I have to groom for those to go home.

Jeannie is now going out for lead training, visiting the post office and doing what she can to make class 2 a great one. She continues to be a force to reckon with when she is at home. She needs to be exposed, exposed, exposed and to have some classes under her belt. :-)

Class Photos Tomorrow

Today the silly humans dressed us up in Halloween garb that doesn't even fit and thinks we look cute like this. Jeannie is not impressed.

Class went well. Jeannie was not happy. She was a tad nervous - tail was up but didn't play, was nasty to Cha Cha once and was showing she wasn't happy with this strange place. Did better with the golden pup.

I think it was the lead and a strange place. Lord knows we should have had her on this daily but a show and craziness came into our lives so next week we will see how it goes. This means that conditioning is important and does work. Cha Cha and Timmy have been in many classes before this and were stars. Photos tomorrow - what I was able to get that is....

Class Tonight

We are off to class tonight hoping that Timmy and Cha Cha are early so we can play indoors.

Doubt we will do the outdoors thing in that grass as its simply too wet.

Jeannie had her bath and is now resting just so she can be a holy terror at class time - of course.

It will be fun to see all 3 in class and to click pix. I also am excited that Teddy is our teacher. I just love her!

Here are a few photos taken today. Simba is now gone so now Simba or Zoe play.

Playing With Pups

Every now and then we get Jeannie playing with the younger set as it seems to bring out something special in her.

She went from very gentle to too much to back to being gentle. She is just a baby too so she is learning how each dog can play. This is a good learning experience. It shows well that she adapts to each circumstance and embraces it.

Tomorrow night is her first class. Hoping I can go too but it depends on Treasure. We shall see.

So What

It doesn't matter if it rains. That crazy lady puts on her purple and black rain jacket with a hood and takes us out anyways.

Shh don't tell her but she looks very silly in it. I looked at her and couldn't figure out that contraption on her head and started to bark at her. She didn't think it was funny so I stopped.

She needs to laugh more - I was just teasing - or was I?

I get to go to class soon with Cha Cha and Timmy. How cool is that? They will be better than me as they already went to classes and now how to walk on a lead but we will play catch-up. It's not a race - just a get there sort of a thing and besides they are my size so this will be fun!

What's New

No photo day for Jeannie. I take terrible photos with my grand daughter's camera but we try to adjust. I get mine back Tuesday.

Jeannie sleeps up against my body like she is a second skin. She also sleeps on her back. She seems to like the rain. She's not being too bossy. She is playing nice and realized one visitor we had didn't want to play so she 'got' that. This is good!

Who Cares - It's Wet

Jeannie doesn't seem to be bothered by the wetness outside and they say rain is coming all weekend - joy not.

Everyone got a bit mucky including the pups from playing outside but other than brushing and drying etc baths may be futile.

Without her Daddy Jeannie thought it was wonderful fun that I was sleeping sideways (always do when Nathan is gone) and suddenly we had all this fun space. She was delightful to sleep with but if the rain is coming I am not sure how much lead training we will get in. We shall see! Classes begin Tuesday night.

Younger Play

Jeannie was really sorry to see the Cooper go but she was playing up a storm with the younger set.

It's great to see her back to playing with the younger pups in a more gentle way. She is learning.

We have found that a lot of vigorous play just before bedtime gets her to sleep all night.

It all makes sense. A fun filled play session creates a tuckere out dog.

As a matter of fact everyone is sleeping right now. It's so quiet you could hear a pin drop. :-)

The Cooper and Jeannie

Cooper is here just for a short time so I managed to get a few photos of the Jeannie and him.

What was interesting is Cooper got down to her size and played.

He knew she was a puppy and was treating her accordingly. Great one, Cooper!

Photos of the two...
