Picnic Photos & Details

The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Woofstock Is Back

Meet us at Woofstock. Dogs are welcomed. We meet at the restaurant across the street from Woodbine Park. Here is the location. Meet up happens on June 22, 2024 at 9:30 to 945am. Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid is a recognized National Pet First Aid Certificate course for dog and cat professionals and pet owners. Talemaker Havanese now has that certificate having taken and passed the course.

Ali and Sky

I should have called them Trouble and the Thinker. LOL Both have wonderful hearts. 

These two are already completely becoming bonded. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds. We kept up the xpen but they are out a great deal with everyone else. We have not taken them to bed with us as one visitor is not a fan of the pups. After he departs we will take them to bed with us.

We play the chase game quite a bit. They love playing with the adults. 

I decided I will do updates as things happen. Tomorrow I will start posting some photos the families have sent.

I just finished grooming so short blog. Things quiet down in September. 

These 2 will be in class together. How fun will that be?

So proud of our little guy: we had dinner guests, which included two young children. Desi greeted everyone in a confident, joyous manner, then occupied himself with his toys in his enclosure while we enjoyed dinner. Not a single complaint from him!

ha! love how in the first picture that ali is totally sitting on sky's face, and sky doesn't seem to mind at all. we see the relationship dynamics here! such hilarious puppy personalities.

emmy is registered for the who's walking who puppy pre-school class starting sep 8 at kingston road. if any of her litter mates happen to be there, that would be wonderful. emmy is doing extremely well! she is incredibly attentive, wanting to please, and trying to learn to do all the right things (making her all the more adorable!). thanks nathan and darlah for all of your dedicated work, great advice, and amazing puppy socialization!

Hi Tara and Ellie! We are signed up for the class with Jana @ 975 Kingston Road (west of Victoria Park) - Kingston Road United Church (2nd floor). We looked at the Sep schedule and Ajax is unfortunately too far for us. Hopefully the sisters will meet another time soon! <3
