1 Full DAY Old Plus

I have not weighed them tonight. I will at 7pm. I am weighing at 7am and 7 pm. They are all gaining. As you can see this boy is might comfie. Here is today's gallery.

This is a duplicate litter as we liked that pairing so much. 4 boys then, 1 black and white and 5 boys this time.

Be sure to look at the videos here.

Dennis is off to the movies with his brother Jon - same movie we went to see sitting 1 row back. Hope they enjoy it. Then Dennis gets home and does night duty.

Dennis said she would only eat mousse last night but he didn't realize she had 6 meals before he fed her already. Other than it being too hot (supposed to cool off) Momma and pups are doing really well. They are rather strong too.

They are all so lovely. I don't think any of them are as dark as Radar and Stone were when they were this age. But, I think I see a little Alivin!

The videos are so sweet. It's lovely to see how calm Roxie is and how you hold the tiny pups and give them kisses. Do you always tie the hair back to make it easier for the pups to feed? Or is it to keep her hair from breaking?

Angela:

Definitely have as dark especially one of them but different colours than the first try. It will be interesting to see at 8 weeks. It looks like 3 may be tris. You can never duplicate a litter as each time genes are pulled differently especially for colour but you will see a resemblance with facial and structure. Roxie has truly nice pups. I hope that Ella has the same. We will be spaying Roxie after this litter. I will mourn the loss of her pups and I suspect Roxie will too. She loves the puppies so.

Just want to add that it was that face and structure that I was after and that is why we duplicated. The colour was not my focus but it is fun! The way things are going a stunning black and white will be in the minority in the breed.

Roxie has beautiful pups. Rusty has Roxie's face I think and these puppies are beautiful already. I can't wait to see them at 8 weeks. I love their colouring. She is such a good mother!
