A Rheo Update

Hi Darlah and Nathan,

We have had an amazing first week with Rheo. He is doing great and playing with the big dogs and he is going outside for his duties, he is beginning to walk on a leash, he is sleeping through the night, and has since the first night, and now he is getting very bold and jumping on the big dogs to play. He has met many new people and everyone is in love with him!

He does like to use his teeth, so we are working on being gentle with his mouth. He loves to explore so I have to watch him carefully and will need to be in his puppy pen so we can relax and keep him from eating the wood mulch and leaves.

He loves to run like h in the yard and I swear he is smiling meanwhile! He is very athletic and runs and jumps into the kiddie pool that is as tall as he is.

I will be starting some impulse control training today with his lunch. He learns quickly, so should be fun.

We love him to bits❤️

I agree he iBooks so comfortable with the big dogs and they look fine with him. I like the idea of impulse control. I could use some training too. (Haha). Enjoy and thanks for sharing.

Adorable. Warms your heart - already buddies sharing the doggy bed. 🐶😍👍
So many people are worried about their small dogs around larger dogs. A gentle, larger dog can be absolutely fine around small dogs when they have been exposed and conditioned to understand the difference in size and weight.

Wow, look at that little Rheo having the time of his life. His two siblings look like they have welcomed him in with open paws. So incredibly wonderful to see. ❤️

Would love to hear some news from littermates!
