Milo's New Family: 3 Updates Today

I can't believe Milo has departed. Now we are down to 3. Milo has such a wonderful personality and I think he is as cute as a button. I truly do. Can't wait till he comes back to visit us. This has been an amazing crew. No one has been a challenge on any way. They still sit and wait for us in the morning. We usually have them crying to come downstairs when they hear us. Not this crew. So patient! Wonderful pleasure they have been. Milo - can't wait to see you again!

Here is the gallery before Milo departed. We hope his trip home was uneventful.

Here is the family gallery.

Buddy's Last Bath: 3 Updates Today

Buddy had his bath today for a departure tomorrow. How was he? Tail was also up throughout. Didn't mind the blowers. loved the water! This one is a chocolate sable much like the one her last litter. Think Rheo is the darkest chocolate she has had.

This one didn't even curl his nails when I used a clipper in his pads. He was such a good boy.

Here is his gallery.

Going to miss this one. Pups are mighty quiet. Probably will be more so after Milo departs.

This is Rheo's mom's human daughter. She lives close by to Marjolein (her mom) so she gets to enjoy him. We already miss this boy. He's moving in with 2 big dogs and we are excited to hear how he does. Can't wait to hear about his journey.

Here's a gallery of them playing before and after departure.

He had a long drive so hoping he fared well. Milo doesn't depart till 7pm tonight so look for his update after 8pm tonight.

Here is his gallery of his bath.

Brushing, combing no problem! He even splashed in the tub.

Going to miss this character.

Milo's Last Bath: 2nd Update of 3

Look at those eyes! What a beauty indeed. How did he do in the bath? Tail up, no issues. No issues with the dryer and quite enjoyed it. I do play with the dogs as it is important to me to make this bathing stuff enjoyable and these dogs do like water!

Here is Milo's bath gallery.

You will be able to see the colour bleeding through his back. Going to miss him so!

Ten Weeks 1 Day Old: 3rd Update of 3

Today and in the morning we are 5 soon to be 3. The pups went next door with Dennis and played between rain. We played out on the deck twice. They will go out again though I cringe as 2 have already had baths. I may have to freshen them up tomorrow morning.

Here is the gallery before the rain.

Yes, we had rain yet again. It's beyond ridiculous.

Thanks to Sherry for the mind game for the pups. You will have to watch the video to see it.

Check out the videos.

See who figured it out. Who cared about the treats and who cared about the bone.

Here is another gallery of their last full day as 5.

They still wait for us in the morning. I have only heard the odd tiny bark. They are wonderful pups. Sure they did the usual; thing like all pups and try to destroy the pads. They are getting better. They yank each other here and there - normal.

I do so hope some of you can come to the picnic. Crossing my fingers 6 ways to Sunday!

Ten Weeks Old

It's raining off and on. Dennis, as I type have the crew next door playing with Raven and momma Roxie.

Here is a gallery.

Pups no longer have food at night. They sleep through the night. They had their last deworming today.

Tomorrow the 1st two to go home will have baths, pads, cleaned up, nails done and be ready to depart on Friday. They are growing up.

Although I am making plans to set up the bottom deck and my room here back to puppy less, I willk still miss them.

August we will make plans to see Treasure, have some day trips and have a picnic before we do puppies again. I even have 10 kitchen chairs to paint. Always things to do and all the while I will look forward to seeing photos, hearing stories and have mail with questions.

Missing them will be an understatement. They still do not cry and wait patiently for us to bring them downstairs. What grand puppies!!

Next Door and in Our Yard

Yes, even I have fun with the dogs. You just don't usually see it. I am always behind the camera. It's not always easy getting Nathan to take responsibility for the clicking.

Here is today's gallery next door.

To say they had a blast was an understatement. They didn't have a moment of hesitancy. Oh, grass, wide open running area - fun!! Buddy was off by himself many a time exploring all over the place. I am amazed at how confident all the boys are now. They just have a blast even with new exposures.

After we came back we went up on the deck. Then we headed back over next door later in the afternoon. Here is that gallery.

It's hard to believe it's Tuesday and Friday 2 depart. We will keep playing next door, here and inside to get them exposed.

Tomorrow they have their last deworming. I do it 2 days before so it gets out of their system before they head to you. Their bowels change and they have a loose texture but that's what happens with deworming. Their fecal was negative but we are heading next door and you can pick up things from wild life so I am just doing what a vet would ask you to do and now you don't need to.

Be sure to watch the videos today.

See if you can count the smiles.

Not Supposed to But.... More Added

Ice Cube PlayI am doing paperwork for the pups to depart and the next paperwork I am starting is on 1st born and his official name is Talemaker Nathan's Buddy.

I want you to laugh as it is bang on. Not supposed to have faves but that one is Nathan's. He would have kept him and cultivated and enjoyed him. He now beats Rheo at his game many a time.

We love them all but we so enjoy the ones that unfold as if you are turning a page of a book.

Can't believe the pups depart 4 days from now.

Puppies had a great time playing outdoors in and out of the rain. They don't seem to care about the weather. they just enjoy outdoors.

Here is today's gallery.

I really watched the pups today and noticed how much they have changed in the last 2 weeks.

Tomorrow we are heading to our next door neighbor's yard. They are in Italy starting tonight and we are responsible for watering their plants and garden. They gave us permission to let the dogs run in the yard. It's all grass or patio and every year we have done this the dogs love it but this is the first time we will have pups to enjoy it. It will give them one more place to be conditioned to. They don't have dogs. But they have grass and more grass. You will sort of see what our yard was before I designed it.

I will be sure to take video and photos. Can't wait!!

Bags and paperwork completed. What a job that was!
