Tomorrow News

Is this confusing?
12-24 is considered ovulation in the nmol./L method, so you have to roughly count 9 weeks from about July 29 to give earliest likely due date, 9 wks. from the 31st Adele should have pups by that point.
Gestation counted as 9 wks. from known ovulation, never the breeding dates.  So you would count backwards about 5 days from the first breeding & use that as day of ovulation to be prepared for first possible whelping day. Reasoning is that it takes 2 days after ovululation for eggs to be ready then they remain ready to be fertilized for 2-3 days.  Past that point they are no longer able to be fertilized so the gal would not have gotten pregnant.  But this is only to figure earliest possible - with multiple breedings, you can never be sure which one did it :)

So counting from July 29th....
I think 63 days is the 30th. Count and let me know. That means pups are possible from Wednesday on.
Tomorrow will be interesting. I am hoping for the weekend just because I need some downtime before the busy-ness.
