Puppies Coming

Click on Photo for Larger ViewFirst one is a boy born at 853pm and he weighs in at 7-5/8oz - 217g. This one has a cream thin blaze on head and creamy feet it appears. Will kmow more when he is dried. She did get vocal but she is doing well.

Click on Photo for Larger ViewSecond one born at 923pm is a gal and the scale was not registering correctly. She is actually 8oz - 227grams. Another sable but a gal.

Here's a poor quality video of the first 2 but thought you may want to see.

Click on Photo for Larger ViewWhile we wait the siblings both have a white blaze. Good thing they are different genders. heh

Click on Photo for Larger ViewThird is a gal born at 10:23pm. She was 8-5/8oz - 256grams. Puppy had a very difficult time coming out so she had a lot of fluid in nostrils etc. Nathan worked on her and worked on her. She is now eating.

Here are 4 pups eating. One pup was half out till a second ago. It is not THE SMALLEST - JUST LOOKED THAT WAY. This one does not appear black. We will see in the morning but certainly has brown overtones. She is doing great now and lively as all heck.

Click on Photo for Larger View4th one is a black and white gal. She was born at 10:50PM. She weighs 7oz - 201grams

Click on Photo for Larger ViewLast one is a boy who is actually the smallest weighing in at 6-1/2 oz - 185 grams. He is either a brown sable or red sable. Colours do change when they dry up etc. But its not supposed to be about colour, folks. heh I get excited about it too but you have to live with the pup so let's see how they all develop.

More photos in a bit. I am on night duty. Lucky me. Dennis says he is too tired to do it tonight but if all goes well he is on tomorrow night. I just took a shower to wake up.

Tracy she doesn't look black as she is drying. We shall see in the morning or you will see in a gallery I will do during the night while I try to stay awake. :-) Adele was great considering she had a tough time with a few of the pups. But she just yelped and was a grand lady! She is so proud of the pups.

PS: Nathan was wonderful as he worked on her for quite sometime suctioning out her mouth and nostrils. She had a lot of fluid from staying halfway in. She came out feet first. He remained calm, cool and collected and kept at it. I am usually the one that does this so wow I was impressed. He did a great job!

Congratulations everyone. What darling looking pups. Poor Adele with the delivery but her love for the pups will help the difficult time disappear for her. It looks like you have another wonderful Mom in Adele. Can't wait to watch them mature day by day. So happy for all of you. Good work by all of you.

Congrats to all, especially new Mom, Adele!!! All of the puppies are gorgeous! Can't wait to watch these babies grow. Take care!!

Jane: Thank you!

Angela: She did rather well despite having some difficulty getting them out especially #3.

Ronnie: Thank you!

Christine: Was rather fast considering. I knew she was in first stage this morning but Nathan kept saying nah. Then when she got into 2nd stage he said she's not pushing. I said she is pushing. Usually it takes longer to whelp 5 pups. I am pleased as it meant the men in my life could sleep. Don't want any grouchy bears around here. hahahaha

Dennis really could have done tonight but he said he was exhausted. So far Adele is low maintenance. I feed her, take her out and make sure pups are all feeding.

I miss sleeping with my dogs so I am hoping Dennis does the night shift tomorrow. If I could sleep during the day and didn't have so much to do, this night shift stuff is quiet but I do miss sleeping with the crew.

Tracy she may be all black. Still don't know but she has a goatee. The black and white one has a double mustache. I haven't a clue where that is from. I am used to that in Spice's pups but not in this line. It's rather cute! Thank you again for allowing me to use your boy Newton. He makes pretty pups. Heads are rather nice.

Gerda, Holly, Anne: Thank you!!
