Adele's Xrays

Click on photo for larger viewThis is Adele's xray. She is later than Jeannie but we knew that. The vet thinks 1 day later than her calendar. Vets are wrong. Human moms are wrong, Mother nature will tell us. Come Sunday I will start taking Jeannie's temperature and on Tuesday or Wednesday I will start taking Adele's.

When the temperature drops to 98 or high 97s it is usually 12 to 24 hours till pups. As this is not their first litter, it can be quicker. But that isn't always the case. Each birth is unique just like it is with humans.

Pups in both litters are of size. None appear too big. None appear too small. We are good!! As you will see in both sets of xrays, no one is in position. They are just hanging out.

PS: Adele weighs 13.4lbs

Interesting, Adele weighs a tad more more than Jeannie. We are counting 3 but we are not experts at counting.

I thinking think I see 4 spines for Adele. Here's hoping you have an uneventful weekend.

Adele has more time and and extra puppy. She will end up weighing more at whelping time than Jeannie. I am glad that we should have less than a week apart on pups. That means they will be playing together eventually.

Good news for all. Now the count down begins.
