Charlie says its wet out there but Happy New Year to all of you. Here's a very small gallery. We just watched a movie with the pups and the adults. Great cheer to all of you and to a Happy New Year. Here at Talemaker we will never make it to midnight - well maybe watching the ipad in bed but you know what I mean. Hope everyone is having a blast. Here are a few videos.

They are playing in the office and running like banshees upstairs. It is way too icy out there and I don't want them hurting themselves by slipping. They are still having a ton of fun.

It really is icy and wet and yes even the pups sink in. Here's a gallery. I also managed a small video.
Pups are doing wonderful. They have been outdoors 3 times and upstairs 3 times plus playing in the office. They have been busy. Here are some more videos:

They went outside. They had a blast. Here is a small gallery - hard to get at night but here is a dark video but still you can see the movement. Got to get some light out there.
I am going to stop updating the Roxie blog unless I get updates with photos, galleries and videos. It's silly to do 2 so the Adele blog wins out as there are 2 Adele pups here. When we have 2 Roxie pups here the Roxie blog will run out.
I only have 1 video today. The apricots had fun squishing Stone. He didn't mind.

I am River.
We are siblings and look so much alike but we look unique too.
We are having fun inside today as it is so wet outdoors. If it is going to be this wet why can't we have snow. It surely would be better than mud.

Do you see a theme here? Everyone was running, playing and just enjoying life. It is cooler but the dogs seem to like that too but other than mud this morning it dried out as it got cold enough.
Pups are truly enjoying each other. They had ground beef in with their kibble tonight and went YUM! Can you blame them?

I am so tired tonight from grooming I think if I shut my eyes I may be snoring till morning. Can't do that till 10. :-)

Can you tell which one is Charlie? Here's a gallery in case you are totally confused. The pups have been having a TOTAL blast. The gallery contains some of the adults as well. Be sure to check out the Roxie blog too for more videos.
Each dog got combed out tonight. I make a practice of putting them in my lap on their back. They aren't a fan of it but the more you do it the more they get used to it. It's good practice if you want a dog that allows you to groom everywhere. I don't get grief as I have the attitude this is what we must do. If you fret, guess who will fret. If they do it anyways, use distraction - a treat, play etc. Make the experience fun.

As it is holiday night - no photos, galleries or videos. We will play catch-up tomorrow. The pups were NOT sore from the shots and are back to sleeping more than they were yesterday. I think yesterday they were very excited and that kept them awake. This morning they slept in till 730am.
Okay, I lied - here's one video so Momma of Charlie doesn't have to go a day without him.

Charlie met us at the vets and had his check up too. Everyone had a great visit - no issues except River and Stone are fatties. Charlie is NORMAL. You don't want to hear how much my duo weighs.
They came home and they literally have not stopped playing till just now. Stone remains awake and Charlie and River are fast asleep. Many times throughout the day they got to say hello to humans as we had dogs coming, going etc. They loved greeting all.
Notice how River watches as the boys go silly fun crazy.

How was River in the bath? She didn't play? She didn't cry. She just stood there as if to say now what are you up to? Here are her bath photos. Then Dennis took them outside again. I want to scream. Okay, they need to have fun but I looked at Nathan who gave Dennis permission and I said if they are muddy guess who is washing them. He said not I. I will wait till they are dry and brush them out. Men....

Yes, they do seem to play quiter but it may be due to them being in a funk or unsure what is happening to them as they too had a bath. But tomorrow they see Charlie at the vets and then Charlie comes for a holiday. They will be so jazzed.
They are now eating from their own bowl about 1/3 of a cup a meal and they are eating. They had fun today playing with a treat toy. They needed some fun as they went upstairs and just sat and refused to play. That is Dennis excuse on why he took them out and they did play outdoors especially with Dallas.
