Keeper

This girl will be remaining with us but if she remains too small, we will place her when she gets older. It is something we must do with Trouble though we have been struggling with as we love her so. Trouble has a class act personality like the black and white of Saffrons. We went back and forth between the black and white and this one. The smallest is a beauty as well but she will be on the smaller end. Nothing wrong with small except in the ring. (sigh) If it wasn't about the show, well she has my heart. She melts my heart. Holding her you know what I mean. Plus she is cute as a button!

This girl would be the 4th generation from Wasabi. We have high hopes. But we now need a name. It has to be a spice or a description of a spice. Let's look at this line's names.

Wasabi

Spicy Chipotle

Saffron

----

so what about

Pasilla pronounced Pah-SEE-yah - call name Seeya

or

Ancho Chile - callname Annie or anchie (pronounced ahnchee) or Chile

or

Guajillo Chile (pronounced wha – hee – oh)

or

Aji Panca (pronounced ah-hee pahn-ka) callname Aji (ahee)

or

Cilantro callname Lannie

or

Jalapeno - callname Hallie

and on and on we go.

I like the Hallie name it suits her. I love her head shape and those eyes....."
I like all of Saffrons puppies, they all move well even the little one.

Nathan likes Cilantro call name Lannie

Yes all pups are structurally sound even the small one. Those that have smaller ones from Spice love the size. Besides they are highly portable. The checkup was thorough and the vet was happy with all.

my Mom always says there is good stuff in little parcels.

They do look good and I would have anyone of them in a heartbeat.
Will you do a re match mating in the future?
This litter is the talemaker naughty but nice crew according to my partner.

What does he mean???

October 31, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterSu

I like Jalapeno - call name Hallie. She is a little spicy girl.

She is the one who reminds me of Radar.

Talemaker's Jamaican me crazy!

OH!!! My favourite:

Talemerker's Slap Ya Mama!

What about Talemakers Cuban Sazon, call name Sazzie (Sassy)

October 31, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterSu

All the names are so beautiful. I do see her as Annie or Hallie or Lannie. Whichever name you choose, she is still a little jam!

October 31, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterSylvia

Can't do a Sassy. Have one that we almost kept but it's a nice name... truly.

Oh Shannon You Are Funny I like the Jamaican Me Crazy

Will we repeat - not sure. They are amazing pups. I had someone ask us if the smallest one was healthy as she was the smallest. Size has nothing to do with health unless it's not fully cooked (developed) and they are. Vet was impressed with all. It is why we sit on the fence on will we repeat. Certainly not what we planned but the Safi is hanging here and hopefully keeping the one will minimize her loss. She loves and I mean LOVES them so. It's as if it gave her status and purpose.

If I had to rate this litter on ease, balance, agile and fun they are stars. People come to visit and they run and leap into their lap. It's a riot.

Carmen: Nice possibility!

Talemaker Cubana Sofrito. -Sofie (Sophie)

October 31, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterSu

We have the small one from the litter we got our pup from, she is perfection.
Just like human children they can be tall or short fat or thin and all healthy.
Darlah, Saffrons pups are amazing and look in perfect condition and if your Vet says they are good then no worries.

October 31, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterSu

Su: Nice name but we have a Sophie too. :-(

The vet was impressed with everything including the calm heartbeat. Usually its racing a bit out of nerves but not this crew. They passed everything and he concluded that he thought we should breed her again as she produced such great pups.

PS: Great things come in small packages at times.

October 31, 2016 | Registered CommenterDarlah

She is beautiful, Darlah. Can't wait to meet her! Wondered if you were going to keep one. There was something so special about this surprise litter. Almost like Safie was always meant to be a mom, even though it wasn't planned. "Hanging here" does that mean you'll be keeping Saffron? She is such a lovely dog.
Good luck on the name ... my brain is fried and I can't think of one name that could compete with the suggestions so far.

What a beautiful litter. They really are exceptional. Like Saffie. She is special and the litter is tops. What about Pepper or Peprika. She really is beautiful and so is the black and white and so is...all of them. I love Trouble!!!

October 31, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterRonnie

Truth is I like Hallie.

October 31, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterRonnie

Sophie was going to be Farley's name, but Farley ended up being a boy.

Happy to hear that one of Saffi's pups will be remaining with her.
She was such a great mom and will love having her baby share the Talemaker
household.
All of Saffi's pups are beautiful. I love their size & shape.

Know this is a little late but I like Nutmeg. She could be Megin or Nutty. Can not think of a hot spice name that I like but Nutmeg is one of my favorites for cooking and I think she has the hair colour. (have to see if the colour changes)
