We now have 2 over a pound. #4 still ceases to amaze me though #1 boy is catching up with his sister in the agile department. I hold them many times a day to get them used to touch. I cuddle and give them kisses. Ah puppy breath. Saffron is now trying to hide them. Got to keep them safe you know.

All are gaining and attempting to walk.

Saffron is such a wonderful mom, so attentive when she checks in on her pups to make sure they're ok. Such a cute photo of pup #5 and Saffron above.

Ok, seriously ... Puppy breadth!? You're the second person who has said that I know of. I love puppy smell, but puppy breadth ... Really?! I'm going to have to smell one next time I'm there. This is really something that is pleasant? LOL

Yes, it's a special smell that only lasts for x number of weeks when the pups are young. Maybe its all that mother's milk? It does smell nice!

Yes, she so loves the pups!

I have always thought a dog's smell is lovely. I don't care if it is the smell when they have just been out in the wet, their breath (puppy and adult), or other, I still love it. My olfactory receptors equate the smells to the beings I love so much, I am sure.
