We are a Family of 4

The 5th one didn't make it. Saffron they said made it through surgery well. We can't get her till after 5.

I have to say, I am so thoroughly sad. They couldn't even tell me what colour or if it was a girl or a boy.

Never again Vet Emerg.

This is so terribly sad but so relieved that Saffron made it through surgery. Soon, she will be reunited with her 4 babies. Thinking of you all!

I was worrying all morning when I only saw pictures of four puppies - we share in your sadness. So relieved that Saffron is well, hope that it will not be too difficult for her to care for the pups while recuperating. We send you our best wishes and a speedy recovery for Saffron who is a super mom (at least Beau believes so!)

😢 so very sad

Poor Saffron, I am so very very saddened. I hope Saffron makes a good recovery and soon.
How awful that emergency vets are so clinical.
Vet costs are extremely expensive, it’s terrible that money seems to come before care.

Thinking of you all. Much love Su

Our thoughts are with you. We hope you all catch some rest and Saffron gets home soon in good health!
Our experiences with Emerg Vets is not too dissimilar to yours, but in an emergency there really is no alternative... and they know it.

My heart hurts for all of you! I'm so so very sorry for all that you all have been through. Such a very dreadful experience. I am, however, so very thankful that Saffron came through. Hopefully she will be home with her new babies soon, and will recover quickly! My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Sorry, Darlah, I know how much you love all the puppies even before they are born.

My sincere condolences. Poor Saffron, I hope she recovers quickly. I hope Talemaker recovers quickly as well. I know how hard you take these losses, Darlah. That little one wasn't meant to be. We have to look at it that way to ease the pain. Much caring and looking forward to seeing pics of Saffron and her healthy four. 😢

So sorry the emerg vets just added extra stress to your worry. You are right though. My experience has been money, money, money before care too, and zero bedside manner. I took Ripley after a fall once where I wasn’t sure whether he had seriously hurt his back and the emerg vet was clinically telling most back issues have to be put down before he had even been examined. Makes you want to grab your baby and run. Glad Saffron is back in a loving environment with her babies.
