Heading to Day 3

The pups all gained. Not as well as the night before but considering many lose or barely gain at this point, they are doing well. See Ella's blog to understand why. All pups in a 24 hour period gained more than 5/8oz to 7/8. So both litters are doing well. I hope Dennis manages to get enough sleep but the door bell keeps ringing. The dogs bark and well life...

Both moms have found sitting up and feeding pups works well for them. Yes, they still lay down but I find them often sittting up to give all the pups access.

I must admit I am still dragging and Nathan is not getting in a nap to play recovery either. This too shall pass.

Couple it with Leti being in heat, Kat and Truffie going crazy and a couple of dogs who non stop bark for their food - can someone buy me quality ear plugs that are soft. LOL I think we all need them. LOL How else can you sleep with ringing doorbells and dogs barking.

But for the 1st time neither mom jumps up for the door when people are at it. Bravo - mommys you get it!

Here is the gallery.

More later...

Gosh, all the new pups have such gorgeous markings!

Beautiful pups. I love the way the brown one lays on his litter mates. I bet he is going to be a cuddly one. Cinnamon is so sweet.
