Less Than a Full Day

Here is the gallery.

If you see Cinnamon looking messy, this is not a tv show. It is real life. I refuse to groom a less than 24 hour - just had pups - mom. Tomorrow, I will. I firmly believe that its stress on a mom to be taken away from her pups when they are this age. Tomorrow I will try to comb her out in the xpen or just outside.

Sage and Nami are no longer in this room. She was not happy and not happy means too often milk doesn't come in or comes in slowly. Sage and Nami see their pups 4 times a day playing with them so they are not missing out. It will also help Nami with the transition.

Glad we set up the xpen early. Yes, 2 days before her due date. They were ready!

The pups are doing well. Cinnamon is trying to get her groove on. Shall I feed laying down, sitting up. What position gives them the best access. She is an EXCELLENT mom and knows what her pups need. She is eating exceedingly well but has not had any output. This happens. By tomorrow she should.

She is delighted with the pups. She cleans them till they are sparkling. LOL

All pups do find mom's milk source. Her milk is in now. They are all doing well. They are moving all over. Colours have settled in. I couldn't ask for a better start but when they are larger at birth, it is easier. That doesn't mean oversized. It simply means mom ate well while pregnant and they were firmly attached.

I am sorry I am so late with the blogs but lots happened today. I will fill you in on the other blogs. It may be like this for a bit but I do add videos as I go during the day so you can get your fix that way. We do have a vet visit tomorrow and pups starting to go home and visitors departing.

Be sure to check out the videos and don't forget about the shorts.
