1st Eats: 1 Day Shy of 4 Weeks

Here is the gallery.

Well, we tried food and 10 minutes - yes 10 minutes later they started to stop. Didn't need help. Nathan put them around it and left. I had set up a tripod face high and video'd them eating and they were wonderful. I guess they are ready. We will not give them any food till tomorrow. Why? It is important to see how their bowels are. With the introduction of food they will go more but hopefully stay solid. If they stay solid, more food will be given tomorrow. If they are loose, we will not feed them till tomorrow night to allow their bodies to adjust. It is a process we find works.

The pen is down that was against their pen for the Nami pups. Blankets are down so they can see out. Interesting enough Cinnamon is allowing Jeannie to be in here. She won't allow anyone that jumps into the pen but in the room is fine.

The pen that the Cinnamon pups had is significantly larger and exposed and they still sleep in a pile. They are huggers.

What is the next goal after feeding? To take them out upstairs and decrease the amount of blankets. Today they had a larger pen, blankets down so they can see out and eating. So far it's all going well.

We are also now stopping the weigh in after tonight as they jump out of the scale. They have shown I do not have to worry as they daily gain weight. I will check one here and there - just because.

I will be placing up videos shortly.

Be sure to check out the videos and don't forget about the shorts.

Wow they took to the food like no tomorrow! Love seeing them get their coordination going and playing, finding their voice etc. Such a great group of pups.
