Vet Visit

I want you to know the vet visit was a tad late but that was due to picking up the microchips. So no coming back. We have concluded the vet visit, the shots and the microchip. Hooray! Everyone is healthy and relaxed.

Nathan did joke around saying you didn't check for the testicles and the vet said this is a girl. It was just fun banter.

I am going to put the last 4 digits of the microchip number on each photo entry so when you give us the top choices, we do not have to worry that you mean someone else. If worried, you can use our microchip reader to put the right # down on the pup you desire when you visit.

Heart rates were excellent with 4 being super chilled and 3 slightly and I mean slightly higher than the 4. Reality is, it means all was chilled.

No one yelped or wriggled. They were great. I doubt they will be sore. Soreness comes when they try to wriggle out of getting that microchip.

No one was nervous. No one had their heart racing due to nervousness. Everyone was chilled including the precocious gal. So, you can't pick your choices as to who is more chilled or active. They are really all even keel. Cinnamon - you make excellent pups.

This is the 1st gal. She now weighs 1.5kg 3.30lbs. Her# is 6623

I am not going to get into who did what as they were all really really great. I am serious too. Such an easy vet visit. She checked heart, bite, throat, eyes, patellas, temps, fecal, testicles for boys and if there were any hernias which do come when mom tries to rip the cord off after birth and it does happen. Sometimes moms are zealous and too fast. Cinnamon didn't do this so no hernias.

This is 2nd born, a boy and he weighs 1.90kg 4.188lbs His # is 7454

This is the 3rd born - a gal who I had put on the chart racoon eyes as her eyes are lighter, which makes her appear adorable, imho. She is also the escape artist and very agile.

She weighs 1.65kg 3.63lbs and her # is 5953. She has been playing catch up as she was always the smallest. I believe 1st born is now the 2nd smallest.

This is the 4th born and is a boy that looks much like Rain in colouring. He weighs 1.85kg 4.07lbs. His # is 7388

This is the 5th born and she is a gal. She weighs 1.60kg 3.52lbs. Her # is 9678

This is the 6th born and he is a boy. He weighs 1.45kg 3.19lbs. He is the smallest. His # is 1301

This is the 7th born and the last. It's the tri. She weighs 1.9kg 4.18lbs. Her # is 5475

Here is the gallery of the pups being seen by the vet. She is our local vet so if you live near us and do not have a vet, you may want to see her.

Here is the gallery after the vet playing - just them - no Rain, Hazel or Hope. They were napping.

I did not take video of them during the vets as they do not mind still photos but videos are intrusive. They did take a photo of Cinnamon and pups when they concluded.

Be sure to check out the videos and don't forget about the shorts.

I will let you know if they do get loose bowels or soreness but think they will not. Next deworming will be Sunday night and then 2 days before departure to conclude the deworming.

Videos will go up shortly. I am extremely busy all weekend long and I mean extremely.

Hi Darlah
Regarding #3 born sable girl - I was looking at the pictures on the link, with the vet examining her, and can clearly see her raccoon eyes. However, the picture on the main blog with the chip number I don’t notice her raccoon eyes. The individual shots of the vet looking at her you can see the distinct eye makings, but I don’t notice them in the picture on the main blog page? Anyhow I guess I am a little confused is all…if reference her as raccoon eyes you’ll know who I mean lol

It is her. It is the lighting and racoon eyes holds the 5953. I just verified her microchip again.
