Not Feeding

You see the step aerobics platform Cinnamon is sitting on? I have fond memories on that wrecking my knee, I am glad it found another use. Cinnamon is using it to watch the pups and say NO FEEDING guys.

One must laugh at the creativeness of moms!

Messy Times

I didn't get a chance to comb out the moms but I have now. I just fit it in. Usually I like to do them first thing but I had dogs to go home, full grooms and feeding pups, dogs, cleaning, laundry and all the usual fun even more so with Nathan gone so short blog it is.

Dogs are now combed out. Pups are taking their hair out by the bunches. This happens now from them just attempting to feed off moms. Their hair will grow back.

Cinnamon fed the pups today, I am amazed. Was she too full? Did she feel bad? Mom syndrome.

Be sure to watch the videos.

Low Key Snoozes

This girl will be silver. Her face is already silvering out and her roots are silver. She's going to be stunning. Have not had a silver since Kat.

Here is the gallery.

I made a mistake and formatted their play session photos. You will see some in the videos but I caught a gallery of themn going to sleep upstairs and there are some cute photos in it.

They are back upstairs as I am typing.

I started getting a migraine after the puppy play and had to lay down to recover. Hope that doesn't happen again anytime soon.

Protecting

Cinnamon has found a new way to protect her milkbar by sitting on a toy that looks like its a bunch of milk stations. LOL

I have to hand it to her. She is mighty creative.

Nathan was having fun with the pups. Be sure to check out the videos.

It's cold, blustery and well fun outside with the dogs but not the pups.

Morning Visit

They came, they went - the puppies conked out. They are still sleeping. Check out the gallery.

A couple of pups went oh my so many people but they had tails up and their coping skills kicked in. It was busy. They onbly lasted but an hour. They started hiding to go tio sleep - a sure sign - we are done.

They did really well.

It will be a lighter crowd this afternoon. Thank you for coming!

First Baths

This girl will silver out. She's going to be stunning. See Katsura's bio to see the colouring expected.

This is a brown sable gal. She is going to have similar colouring to Willow. This one is remaining.

This is Cinnamon's boy that is cream and sable. We were having fun with him. Gad I love this guy's personality. He's going to be on the smaller size but no pups will be oversized.

This girl is the black, brown and white gal who will silver in areas. This one is most likely staying with us to replace Ali who is now with our friends. She is Nathan's fave as she tends to have more of a pay attention to me personality which will do well in the ring.

This is the brown sable boy. He has such a grand personality. He's quite the looker too. :-0

This is her brown sable girl. She is so pretty and is such a genuine lovee. She was the star in the bath. Everyone was good but she acted as if this was a fun blip in her life. She made me smile.

This is the sable and cream gal. She will be small. When I have her a bath, I went ooops what happened to you - skinny. She has such sensational eyes. Great personalities - all and 1 that says pay attention to me. That can and often changes between 6-8 weeks.

Here is their bath gallery.

It took a long time to wash them all especially with individual photos. It was an experience. I never did 14. But they look amazing. After the bath, one at a time went upstairs with Dennis to play. He took photos. The pups look wonderful after the bath and feel so delish!

Here is the upstairs gallery. Sorry - today no videos. There will be plenty tomorrow.

What's a Mother to Do?

You will hear Cinnamon growling in a low growl at the pups to say - no more milk. She has decided to wean the pups. She still wants the food but we have cut her back. The other 2 are still feeding.

The Cinnamon pups look at the others as if to say - what is this about?

But Cinnamon pups are the oldest and a good mom always knows the right time. Cinnamon is a great mom. She tried playing with them and she managed to a bit but they still try to feed. This stage after weaning is when moms play with their pups in a way to help them develop and learn.

They are drinking water. They do eat the moms hard food so soon we will be going to unsoftened food. They all are good eaters.

New Room

As you know, the front livingroom we opened up to give the dogs a larger place to lounge in especially when we are watching tv. The tv room used to be a diningroom that we never used as a diningroom as our kitchen was large enough to fit all of us in it. So one year I decided to give Nathan a tv room. He thought I was nuts but its the most heavily used room by humans and dogs.

We placed french doors up as it was open concept to divide the room and now we are back to one room with the french doors folded back.

Be sure to watch the videos.

The pups can walk up and down the stairs or try to jump. They seem to be fearless. Oh my!

Hiding Cinnamon

Cinnamon is surely trying to get the pups to eat less frequently. After all, they have teeth as you will see on Saturday. Here is she is hiding up on the chair knowing the pups can't reach her there.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Moms did not have baths. They need them but I wanted them freshly cleaned for the Saturday event. Puppies will get baths on Friday. Moms on Thursday. It's going to be a busy week but I am surely looking forward to Saturday then Sunday when I attempt to rest.

Ramp Play

The pups go up and down on the ramp quite easily now. As they get older, they try out new things. Today one took a swan dive off the ramp and landed fine. Sometimes you have to shake your head at their antics. They are having fun.

Check out the videos.

Getting Older

What an adorable face. She so loves to pose.

Here is the gallery.

They can easily get up and down the slide now and some even swan dive off of it.

By the time of the visit this Saturday, these pups will be 7 weeks old. Leti's will be 6.5 weeks old and Raven's boy will only be 1 day shy of 6 weeks.

I can't say enough that they are fun, fun, fun and they have been since early on. I so love this group.

Running Like Banshees

You see this cream and apricot boy? What a bloody lover is he. Rub my tummy - yes! Hey, I am first in the running pack.

What a riot these pups are. It is going to be a fun visit with all 14 pups.

Hair and More

Look at the length of their hair. It looks like I will have to take extra time drying them. I was figuring 15 minutes each but.... Moms will be done the day before as it will be impossible as I have 1 to wash teh same day as the puppies as I am unable to do it the same day as the pups.

I will be the one clicking, taking videos and looking half dead.

The reason why we are doing it in 2 shifts as it will be enough room for humans but not puppies. LOL

Not sure we ever had 14 pups but here we are and thankfully this is such a great group that you can't help but enjoy it all!

Be sure to check out the videos.

Banana Time

Sherry got this fun looking banana toy and the pups did not know how to handle it first. What do we do with it so Nathan put a pup on top and suddenly they were climbing on it. I think as time goes on they will get even more creative with it.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Cinnamon's crew is also going through a slim out phase. Leti's are growing but never got fat. Growth patterns are always different for each line. They all get there - just on their own timeline.

Playing With Human Dad

They are all ours till they become yours. So, hopefully we are not offending you when we say dad or mom.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Pups went upstairs with Nathan playing up a storm. Nathan is still perfecting his video taking.

We are still adjusting to feeding times but they are eating a fair bit of food and drinking water. All 14 get along!

Full Out Play

Be sure to watch the videos.

Pups had a riot of a time upstairs and while we were doing it, Nathan was clipping nails on the Cinnamon pups.

Check out the gallery.

This crew had their nails clipped. They also had their first deworming. We deworm as a preventative. We test fecal and it always comes back negative. We will do the same at their vet visit.

New Toys

We had a lot of changes so there will be 3 galleries today - 1 on each blog.

Pups had exposure to new toys as you can see in this photo. They are new to them not brand new.

In just a few days they have really had changes and they are meeting all the challenges that come with them. I am really impressed.

Here is the gallery. We also managed to upload a few videos that show them in these changes I will talk about in each blog.

Feeding All

Cinnamon continues to feed all takers. She's a riot.

Here is the gallery of them upstairs.

Nathan had some alone time with them while I groomed upstairs and then when I finished I joined in.

Be sure to check out his videos. He is new to this video taking so hold on to your seats. LOL

Free For All

Cinnamon seems to feed all. Perhaps her milk stations are already conditioned to teeth. The puppies teeth when they come in are like little jagged things. When they get adult teeth they actually are round and not pointy.

You should watch the videos. Cinnamon is a fun and interesting dog as you will see in one of the videos.

The pups so look forward to going upstairs to play. We may be trying a kitchen visit tomorrow. We shall see.

All For One

Cinnamon says I can feed all. She did.

The pups had a great time upstairs. We are going to increase the time to twice starting tomorrow. By Tuesday night we will have them sleeping upstairs without the moms. This puts the Raven pup over 4 weeks. This also means Dennis will be sleeping in bed for the 1st time in a long time.

We are also doing only 1 gallery that will be placed on a different blog each day. This will help my workload and it is next to impossible considering all 14 will be playing together.

They are doing well and no one is trying to be pushy with anyone else. It is just fun play. We have a truly outstanding crew!
