Cinnamon's Xrays

Click on Photo for Larger ViewClick on Photo for Larger ViewThe local vet thinks Cinnamon will have possibly 7. I think 6. That doesn't mean one or two are not hidden - lord knows we have had that happen many times but I may get my 10 after all. Time will tell. Sorry - with first time moms I do not like to overwhelm them.

What is different about Cinnamon and Ella is Cinnamon already has a ton of milk. It may mean she is sooner than later.

Pups are of size and are calcified. It means next weekend or earlier I may be too busy.

Leti is also in heat. :-) So plenty of possibilities this year.

I Swam Today

Cinnamon swam today. You can see it in the videos found here.

I also got Nathan to take a side by side shot of the two moms to be.

I will weigh them tonight and let you know how much they have gained. 4 more days and they get their xrays. How many do you think each has? It would be fun to guess before the xray.

Cinnamon Update

Food - really? She looks as if she says - truly you want me to eat THAT? That is steak and kibble.

Here is a gallery.

Cinnamon has gained 4 plus pounds - perhaps 5 as I had not checked the weight when we bred her. Wow!

She is normally 12.5 to 13lb. Most times she sits at 12.5 pounds but if someone treats her.... She is now as of last night 17.5 lb. I suspect she will hit 18lbs easily before having pups.  She is starting to waddle and navigating stairs she has had to adjust from fast run to slow and deliberate. She is not used to carrying this much weight when it is hugely in the stomach area.

Will be interesting to see how many pups she has. I will laugh if its only 6 as it will be some huge pups. Let's hope not. Though I don't want 10. I have not felt kicking yet but may be timing. Will try again today.

Cinnamon's Tummy

She's growing. We have xrays a week from today. then we will find out how many for each.

She opted not to swim. I remember Roxie diving in during her pregnancy and her tummy threw her off but she persisted. So maybe Cinnamon is wise.

Cinnamon cuddles with me nightly. Are we now 2 weeks away. Tonight I will feel tummies to see if I can see any kicking.

Cinnamon's Belly

We do not have air and we have a waiting time sometime next week - sigh so I cooled off Cinnamon with some water and then decided to take a belly shot when she was halfway dry. They now have 3 weeks to go or a tad earlier - like a day or 2.

Cinnamon is getting mighty maternal. She carries around a sock or a squeakie toy. Thing is others try to steal it from her.

She has a date for an xray on May 28th in the morning. So does Ella and Sage gets her 2nd shots so.... it will be a busy morning. Stay tuned.

I am going to weigh them both later. It will be interesting to see how much they have gained.

Oh So Cute

I will try to get a photo of her belly today or tomorrow. Ella's still not that round as she is carrying sideways. Cinnamon is carrying both ways.

Cinnamon is now carrying a sock around as if it is her baby. It is so cute. She keeps it close and coddles it. I must get her a squeakie that is tiny.

Updates

I have to take a photo of Cinnamon's tummy in the next couple of days. Oh my is it obvious. This is the time that you go, is she, is she not. Oh boy she is. LOL

How many puppies are you going to have?

We figure due date is approximately June 6th. That's about 4 weeks to go (27 days to go) - tis all.

Update

Cinnamon is still not eating in the morn. I suspect morning sickness is still an issue. She will look, smell and turn her head away. Everyone once in awhile she eats.

If she follows the calendar, she will soon be over the morning sickness. I only had 1 gal that had it almost all the way through.

She is doing well. She is getting sufficient food but she is eating tiny bits all day.

She had a bath today. I was not up to it but it had to be done.

Update

Cinnamon has the most gorgeous eyes. It makes up for her hair that she earned by playing so hard. She is a HIGHLY social dog. So is Stone so I expect their pups to be too. We shall see.

Her hair is now growing back in just in time for the pups to destroy it again.

Poor gal can't eat in the morning. Sometimes eats at noon. She eats at night most times. She is indeed having morning sickness.

She is extra loving which is normal when pregnant. That's a tough one from Cinnamon as she already is that but now she wants to hug, hug, cuddle, cuddle.

This too shall pass but this line has the potential to have 9 or 10 pups. I hope not but we shall see.

Wed 1 Jun 2018 -
Wed 8 Jun 2018

    nipples.

Cinnamon Connects

Cinnamon's progesterone was 28 last night. The timing for pregnancy is today and tomorrow though she had a connection last night and that may have taken. It can be 2 days either way. Eggs are ripe today. It was a 49 minute connection with Stone. Unbelievable.

Getting a decent photo of Cinnamon is impossible. Stone chewed her top knot off, chewed off her ears but pups will do that too. She plays like it's her last day to be. Meaning Stone has ripped her hair to shreds as they seem so in love. I may give her a short haircut and take a decent photo but then Nathan says leave it alone and let it grow out. LOL Stone was the same mess but the last month or two his is coming back nicely. Hers will too but not with pups crawling through her hair.

We believe in our dogs playing and enjoying life. Cinnamon's hair will come back after pups.

Our vet figures same day delivery for Cinnamon and Ella or a day apart.

Two 1st time moms having pups together. The countdown is 61 days from today most likely.
