Events Coming Up

Here is the gallery. I will add to it as the day goes on.

Tomorrow the vet is coming to our house to do checkups, shots and microchips.

Saturday and Sunday we have puppy visits.

After your visit, we request you send Nathan your top 3 picks.

After pups are assigned, we will ask for names, pertinent info so all these swag bags and paperwork can be finished.

We will also ask day of pickup. Busy times for all coming.

Please realize that this is not an easy process for us, either. We haven't even asked for the top 3 and I am getting - I MUST have this one - no other. At the end of the day, there is not a bad puppy in the lot.

One time, 5 people wanted the same puppy and it took us 3 days to figure it all out. It included telling someone they have to wait for the next litter. It was the most stress-filled experience. I do not want to duplicate that time but it is already turning into that.

Instead of being a happy moment for all of you, I am heartsick. Just thought you should know.

All these pups you will love. They will be what you desire by exposure, love and training. You do not know them well enough like me. You have had a fleeting moment in time so mostly it is based on looks. <sigh>

Be sure to check out the shorts. Plus the main directory of the videos here.

Oh Darlah, I can't imagine being in your situation. I remember asking you 'how ever to pick a puppy' when every single one is just so unique and wonderful in their own way!
We got your 2 from the rescue, best decision I think, and they chose us! We worked with them to become the wonderful dogs they are today. And that, you know, was with lots of patience and understanding care.
And I would do it all again, bring on the challenge!

You ended up being the best thing in your life. I truly can't believe the person who we knew gave them up. Your win!

Yes - this time it is exceedingly NOT fun. It should be. It needs to be.. You not only send them home - sad for me, go crazy making things and then I like to make everyone happy and well...

I am sorry if I contributed to your stress during this busy time.
It was not intentional if I did.
I am looking forward to just 1 of these beautiful pups.
I know with your experience you will make good matches for all the families.

It wasn't you. But it was others. I recognize this is hard for all. I really love these pups. They are really outstanding. There are no bad picks.

Hugs Darlah! I am sure the puppy parents don’t realize the stress they are creating. I think the videos really makes you think about their personalities. You don’t get a true sense from the visits though I wouldn’t trade those . I remember when we did our picks, we reallly watched the videos you posted to see what they were truly like personality wise. We are so happy with our choice, and her personality hasn’t changed. She still thinks about things before deciding to join and/or pounce on that toy. She is just adorable and I wouldn’t have her any other way. The videos are key I think for the new puppy parents - so telling of who they are!! And all will be loving. Hope all the new parents sort it out when they submit their choice….as you say, they are all so wonderful!!
