Day 18 1st Nail Cutting

This is the boy. He was great getting his nails done.

Here is the gal and I think Momma Hallie was more - what the hey are you doing vs the pup who was - okay we are doing this. I tried to take a video but it didn't record. So frustrated with this program. Want to buy an android so I can use a prg on that. Now that is ridiculous.

Pups are doing really well. They do try to get up on their legs and they do interact with each other. They can hear as if a loud noise occurs, they jump. I try not to do that but life... and I do want to condition them. 

Day 17

The photo above is the gal getting outside and getting so much attention.

Here is the boy outside. As we had Robbie the collie visiting, we did not take out Hallie. I am sure she wouldn't do anything but guard as she doesn't know Robbie but Hallie is a gentle being.

16 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

We are short blogging tonight. It has been a long day. Above you can see Nathan outside with one of the pups. Hallie was with him. I will try to get the gal out tomorrow. It just wasn't possible.

Pups are doing well.

Videos are coming. Yep - haven't got to those either.

Pups are moving a bit more. More tomorrow....

Such Characters

They have had their eyes open for a couple of days and already they are quite the character. The boy lays either on his back or side and the gal tries to treat him like a pillow. Most times he doesn't mind but every now and again he says nah.

It is hard to believe that they are over 2 weeks old. Momma Hallie is found lazing in the sun after she feeds and cleans them allowing them sleep while she remains social. Hallie is a very social being. She is extremely loving. Makes you feel loved always. I suspect her pups will be the same. 

In teh next couple of days I need to start adding toys into the whelping box so they have interesting visuals.

Two Weeks Old

Eyes are open. I did have them look out the window. They appeared to be fascinated. Good start. I showed them to the gals in heat and they were sniffing them up. Hallie says - okay but they are mine.
