Vets and Milk Bar Closed

Stryker went to the vets and was unhappy in the car. He ate before he took the car ride which is a no no and needless to say his crate pad needs to be cleaned. That's okay. We will do it as much as possible so he gets used to it. No one else has reported this so I am glad we have to deal with this vs someone else. Deal with it, we must as he has classes next week. 

I remind people, pups do become older. He remains a fabulous puppy. The way he plays with Yoshi's pups is magical. 

Today he thought he could feed from Yoshi. She told him NO! He sulked. LOL 

He is in learning mode! I just love this puppy but Nathan says his name and he runs to him. I say his name and he just looks at me. You can see whose pup he really is.

Hmm What Have I Learned?

I sleep through the night in human daddy's neck. I can get off and on the bed with stairs and a bench to use the pad. I can play with the big guys and I am almost as big as Coco the maltese. I continue to dumb down my play with the Yoshi pups. I now fly up and down the stairs outside and leaves are fun!

I thought I had the vest today but it is tomorrow. Bath time coming...

What is New?

Stryker continues to dumb down his play with the Yoshi pups. He gets excited to see them. He also plays more rough with the older dogs so he knows what he is doing when gentle. What a smart puppy.

He slept through the night in our bed. He did want to go to the bathroom to lay at Nathan's feet when duty called Nathan. But back to sleep he went.

He is adjusting nicely. 

He is signed up with classes at Whos Walking Who and will be joining Nafas in a class. I hope to go to at least 1 class. We shall see if we have dogs departing at the same time. I do like to go.

Today he gets a bath and goes to the vets tomorrow. 

He adjusted to no xpen fast and we give him a treat and he stays away from cords etc. 

One negative - he barks at himself in the mirrored doors and his bark is loud so we are correcting. He likes to hear his voice but when we say no, he does stop. We also use distraction to refocus him and it does work. He is a baby so he is learning. 

I really miss the pups. 

Stryker Saga

Stryker has a lot of changes to contend with. He went outside and ran up the stairs but wasn't sure how to go down the stairs but Nathan took his front paws down to give him a headstart.

He cried when taking a nap upstairs but soon settled in and has been sleeping now for quite sometime. 

He is curious about the other pups. He needs to be gentle so we are not sure how that will go later when Yoshi's pups come out to play. Yes, they will play in the hall today.

Stryker will also come to bed with us. So many changes but hopefully he will take them in stride. We shall see.

Stryker will have his bath tomorrow as he heads to the vet in 2 days.
