Quiet Time

Here is the gallery.

Nafas was sticking her tongue out when I took this photo. It was way cute!

Pups were quiet today in their play sessions. It was interesting. It was as if they know 2 are missing. The 1st pup to go home of Hallie's is Nafas on the 22nd. Remember they are a week younger than Nami's pups. The last 2 will depart on the 27th. Then Hallie's boy will go out in general population and the Yoshi pups will take over that xpen and I will be able to take the Yoshi pen down and have access to my couch. LOL

There will be a ton of changes on the 27th. It will be busy too and in 10 days, the Yoshi pups should have already gone upstairs at night. Never had to deal with this scenario so I am treading on new territory so I am going with the flow.

Lots of changes for you and for us coming in the next 10 days.

Now Down to 6

See the gallery on Nami's blog.

The pups had a grand play session this morning and is about to have another shortly.

I can't believe we are now down to 6. On the 21st and the 22nd, 2 more will depart. More baths and more new journeys.

Already the Yoshi pups are walking around and will be 4 and 5 weeks before all depart. We are still trying to figure that out.

One will remain so the moms will have one to pamper and it will be both moms doing that. You will see.

Be sure to check out the shorts. Plus the main directory of the videos here.

Last Full Day as 8

Here is the gallery from both litters.

I had a play session with them today and had bare feet and noticed no one went after my feet. I guess they are learning. Good puppies. It is not the irritants or the mistakes you are dealing with but rather helping them through this journey of theirs called life. They need you to understand the boundaries. They are like 2 year old human babies that need to learn what is acceptable and what is not. They want to please you and if given the opportunity, that is what they will choose.

These are smart pups. No one is a bully. No one pushes outside the boundaries after they learn what the boundary is. They are fun puppies. I so seriously enjoyed this crew. Each has their own personality that makes you smile.

Today they had their last deworming. It wasn't necessary but if we didn't do it, your vet would and it would cost you. Some puppies have loose stools after treatment but not these pups. We do this to avoid you doing it and potentially having loose stools.

These pups must get their vaccines on time. The window is 10/16/2025 to 10/30/2025. We had one pup that didn't adhere to that and ended up needing to redo the 1st vaccine. That adds to cost, time, energy that you want to avoid. So make appointments now, if you have not already.

For some of you with a late window of pickup, that means getting an appointment right after they depart in a day or 2.

Dennis opened up the room that they sleep in at night for a play area and they had a ton of room to play. You will see in the photos and videos.

Short Blogging It

Catch the gallery on Nami's blog.

I am sorely behind and trying not to have a midnight or later bedtime so we are short blogging it.

Pups have had 3 upstairs already. Two was with Dennis, 1 with me. I did the 1030amish session.

They had fun. They are great at the running and they are stopping nibbling at my feet that I even took off my shoes to test and only had to say a sharp no once and they left my bare feet alone. I call that progress!

Oh the Fun of It

Here is the gallery.

It is so much fun these play sessions and if you noticed, the pups are full out running now. They are really a cohesive group. If any come back to board at the same time even if they are from Nami or Hallie pups, they will recognize themselves as siblings and the 2 moms will recognize the pups as theirs. It is like a blended family that works and it does work.

The way they play, it is obvious they adore each other. No fights. No disputes - just crazy fun play!
