Nafas New Family and Before Departure With Kandoo

Nafas New Family gallery.

They brought Kandoo with them and she played and played. I think she will make a great big sister to Nafas.

As it was late, it was a quick visit. They need time to get Nafas acquainted with their home and routine. It was great to see Kandoo with the pups. She played and played and Smores tried to monopolize her time. It was a riot. 

Can't wait to hear how their relationship develops.

Before Nafas Departed

The pups remaining - 4 are quiet. They will remain 4 for 4 more days then be down to 3.

Nafas' Last Bath

I took her away from playing too and shed was a tad vocal about it but not bad. It was as if she was watching her watch saying let's finish drying me, will ya? She was a riot. 

I think before Smores goes home on 26th, I will no longer pluck them out of mid play but instead wait till they are back in their pen ready to go to sleep. My bad! The 1st baths I did that is what I did and they were all so amazing. The onlt thing that changed was interrupting their play. I think I may not like that either. Where was my brain?

Nafas cleans up nicely. She looks like a little doll.

She won't be going home till evening so the going home and play gallery and videos will be late. 

Then we will be down to 4 with Strker remaing till the 26th. The last two to depart will be one of Hallies and one of Nami's. Lots of changes. 

This crew has been amazing and I mean that. I so love each and every one.

Nafas is lucky as she is going to a home that has another of our havanese called Kandoo. 

Playing Fun

Here is the play gallery today.

This is Nafas. She is going to get her bath tomorrow. We shall see how she does. 

The pups played and ran and ran. 

I had to juggle my schedule a bit but got some solid time in with the pups.

We invited older dogs up so they can get acquainted with dogs that are not their moms. We have done this before just not as many. They really enjoyed the company and they all interacted well.

Hallie Play

Hallie is spending a lot of time teaching her pups correct behavior. I laugh as she is such a great mom. 

This is Nafas who is going home on the 22nd. She won't be going home till night so her update will be late in the evening just like tonight.

The pups had 4 play sessions today and I only had an hour with them due to my grooming schedule. 

I am amazed how they have confidence to jump up on that dog couch with ease. They run like the wind now too.

Nathan had more flexability with his hip today and managed to get on the floor to play with the pups. I am glad as it is only a few days before Winston and Nafas departs - 1 day after the other.

I really wanted to take the pups outside but with all the grooms I had on my plate, I didn't have the time so upstairs it was. 

Dennis will take them out in a couple of hours as they are napping now. They play and them sleep for an extended period. The more they play, the more they sleep. There is a direct coorelation between the 2.
