Two Tempie Blogs Today: New Families

What wonderful emotion captured with Dash's new family.

He was the 1st to go home. We heard he is following her around and didn't eat. That is all normal. He had food before he left, besides. It takes 2 to 3 days and you are all they want. :-) So many changes for these little ones.

Here is the Tempie only gallery of the play during the morning departure with Dash.

Great happiness with Maggie's new family.

This one has a 4 hour drive. I hope they all survived it. It's a huge change for this little one. Long car drive, new place and all. I suspect they will not be getting home till an hour from now. Missed indeed!

Here is the Tempie only pup play during Maggie's departure.

Theo and Rosie will depart tomorrow. Then Frankie will join the 3 crew till the 15th of October.

Videos coming soon - I hope.

Thank you for the muffins, snacks and fruit.

Hi Darlah and Nathan,

Maggie was a gem on the car ride. We stopped for a stretch in Kingston, just to the back of the SUV and the pee pad. Back to sleep she went. We arrived home safely at around 6:15. Outside we went immediately and had a quick pee and then in the house for dinner. After dinner we went back outside and had a great time playing fetch, yes fetch…Maggie is really good at going and getting her squeaky donut, we have to work on her bringing her donut back to me!! She is very smart😊. Maggie is settling in really well, she is a wonderful gift. I sent you some pictures via text. It will likely be an early night, we will send some more pictures tomorrow❤️

Thank you thank you thank you! That was a big long drive for her and for you. Glad it all went well. When they leave, I so miss them but things like this make me smile hugely. Thanks!!

PS: to teach a game of bringing it back to you, find a hallway with no opening at the end. You sit at the other side and throw the toy. If she brings it back treat and amazing voice wow to her. If she doesn't - the game ends.

Muffins and fruit was a great trade for a wonderful boy! Thank you! Dash is in for a short car ride tomorrow to get him accustomed. Brushing went very well - no complaints. Ate dinner and used his pad. Big praise for that! Hoping for sleep.

Good morning Darlah and Nathan,

Thank you for the tips on the fetch game. I tried it and she brought it back to me! I took a video and sent it to you via email.
We all had a great sleep. She went out at around 10:00, went for a pee and went to bed. She slept in her crate between us. She whimpered for a few seconds so I put my fingers into the crate and told her “it’s ok Maggie, we are here”.
She slept until 6:00 am, out we went for a quick pre then back to bed. We all slept until 8:00, yippee!
She ate most of her breakfast…a new day begins❤️

Wonderful to hear both pups are settling in well, so very happy for all of you😘

Hi Darlah and Nathan.
Maggie is such a delightful little girl and so good natured.
We just got back from a long walk; I have a puppy carrier so her feet didn’t touch the ground. She got to meet a few of our neighbour.
When we got home she actually rang the sleigh bells on the door with her nose!! Out we went to the back yard; I said “go pee” she did and then “have a poop” and she did. So far no accidents in the house.
It sure is a beautiful weather for training. Maggie is having a fun day with running and playing…mom is a little tired🥰
Oh yes, she also ate all of her breakfast and she will be having lunch soon.
We will keep you posted on our little girls progress❤️
Have a wonderful day🐶
