Yoshi Due Soon in 10 Days

Here is the gallery.

Morning sickness in pregnant dogs is a common occurrence that can cause discomfort and concern for both the expecting mother and for me. Usually in the later stage of pregnancy it is caused by crowding. She has indeed been growing by the day. Her 1st pregnancy she didn't have this issue. She had 2.

We will not know how many pups she will have but she is indeed getting large for a mom of her size. She will have small pups if anything like her 1st and will remain small. Yoshi is very healthy but she is small. Some do appreciate small where others like larger.

I feel bad as she has had some really persistent morning sickness. Pups never starve if mom is not eating. The pups will take every last bit of nutrition to survive. Same goes for humans. She is eating but about once a day a really high caloric amount. Yoshi will be okay. Being sick is not fun. I know, I am sick myself and still doing what I must.

She is due the day after her xray but we can have pups up to 3 days before due date and 3 days after. Her xray is on the 22nd. Nathan is back the 20th. So, we are cutting it close. So potentially we can have pups the 20th on. Will Nathan be back? I hope so. He is the whelper but if there are any issues, I am the whelper. I have managed to get stuck pups out etc So, I can do it all myself. Nathan gets too anxious when there are issues but he is proud he is the whelper so it makes us a team as I take videos, photos and take down the details. If I am whelping, someone has to watch the other dogs so I won't get the photos and the whelping experience so we hope he is back in time. I will do the best that I can.

That is my latest update.

So many babies for little Yoshi.
With 5 babies is it likely she will have them early ?

5 puppies, wow, what a change from the previous 2 puppies since Yoshi is small.
I'm anxious like you for Nathan to get home in time.

If she gets too crowded she can reabsorb one. If you look at the xray, she is not too crowded.
