So happy for Yoshi. 😊
Pregnant dogs experience morning sickness due to hormonal changes that occur during the early stages of pregnancy. These changes, particularly fluctuations in hormone levels such as progesterone and estrogen, can affect the dog's gastrointestinal tract, leading to nausea and vomiting. Additionally, the physical changes in the dog's body as the pregnancy progresses, such as increased pressure on the stomach from the growing fetuses, can contribute to gastrointestinal discomfort and exacerbate morning sickness symptoms. Yoshi is a pretty spectacular dog, We have had a lot going on but Yoshi is where I am always. She used to be Nathan's dog. He would say I bribed her with treats but not true and she wasn't eating much and still like a 2nd skin up against me during the night. I can hardly move but if it gives her comfort, my lack of sleep is worth it.
She has finally started eating small meals throughout the day..I hope it continues.
I didn’t realize that Yoshi’s due date was this week.
I hope she chooses to wait until Nathan is back home.
