Brr Cold Feet and All

The dogs were really cold this morning especially Miss Cali and Miss Leti. They simply do not have the body fat to generate enough warmth and those feet - ouch lifting but Cali has no brains. She lifts her feet and doesn't want to come in. Miss Let comes running in.

Here are a few photos from today. These are early morning photos so no photos of Ringo yet who arrived this afternoon. He is having a blast!

I found the snake that still has some squeaker life in it and they were back having fun with it. It's important to rotate your toys - well THEIR toys so there is renewed excitement and they had it for Mr. snake again. The fun was had with tugging it this way or that and squeaking it to death.

Inside play is more comfortable but we still manage to go out just for shorter spurts.

Tonight a few get baths for the show plus Muntuno. It is going to be a busy weekend but a fun one for me as I am with the dogs. hehehehe But I will miss the show too. I just may find things I need for teh dogs so better that I don't go.

Oh yeah and I get to pack everything for the shows too and who gets blamed when something is missing? hahahaha

Darlah - You spoke of baths on the other blogs but thought I'd ask here. Do more frequent baths and a cream conditioner help w/ static and matting? Laci is now getting lovely and long but she is matting/knotting daily. I hate putting her thru dematting and as for myself am suffering from spasms due to all the brushing. It's just 3 wks since her last bath and she's due this coming Tues. It's not dry in the house but the cold air must be causing the static thus the matting. I swear she can go for a romp out in the back yard mat free and come in w/ them from dry and wind. I spoke to someone last winter that believed in Argan Oil lightly finger touched on the ends. What do you think?

Is there something in the name Cali ?? I am always out in the yard with my dogs, but for Cali never more important than in the winter. she lifts paws, but after 2 steps often sits or lies down.. If I didn't keep an eye on her, I'm convinced she will freeze to the ground. The others run for the house to get warm, but her I have to hustle along. Might be a mean Mommie but I will not pick her up as I want her to realize if you run for the back door, you'll get warm, not encourage if I lie here someone will get me..

I take Casey out 3 -4 times but only for a 5 minute walk. She has discovered that if she jumps like a rabbit she doesn't feel the cold in her feet as much. She wastes no time getting to the door and takes the shortest route possible! Keep warm.
