Late

Same dog... different lighting...

Got two dogs to do tonight (groom/wash etc) so blogs will be late. Here'a a photo of Murphy that Nathan took. This is Kat's brother. He's here while they are rewiring their house with his packmate Jesse, a collie.

Jesse (is a gentle being. Now he's a real big dog exposure experience.

The picture of Jesse brings back childhood memories...I grew up with a collie named "Lassie", what else....but I mostly remember my grandmother (who was scottish) singing the song "my bonnie lies over the ocean", she would always sing that song when Lassie was around. Jesse is beautiful, must feel weird to have her in your house but no doubt he is gentle :-)

Beautiful Collie! Reminds me of my first dog, a sheltie, named Mandy. Still miss her even after 11 years.

Jane and Anne, Jesse brings back memories for all of us it seems. I have had 2 Shelties and loved them both very much. My first was the exact colouring of Jesse and I was 25 when I got her, so long ago lol! My second passed at the end of 2012 and she was a black, white, tan tri. Havanese are surely as gentle and kind doggies, one of the reasons I wanted a Havanese and my Patches is proving to be just that.

I had a sheltie a few years back when walking with Kat and Risa attack me and broke solid skin. Never found out where she lived but it took me a bit to walk that route again. She was relentless too jumping up to get Kat and Risa until it seems I turned this invisible barrier and she turned around. There was no provocation. Never figured out why.

Jessie will be great exposure for the pups. Your older dogs were accustomed to your gentle Golden so they should be okay. Murphy looks like a young pup.

Yes, Murphy still looks like a pup but he is a littermate to Kat. Nice to see him.

Oh, an Uncle to Kona, Sophie & Ty. Also Monty and Dusty. The darker colouring mixed grey and black is interesting. Someone who met Kona when he was a pup was amazed at how his colouring continues to change.

Yes and Uncle to a number including these litters. He has the 4 white sox like Momma Risa.

Our dogs initially went what the %$^& is THAT and then they adjusted. Its been quite awhile since the goldens left us. Some never knew them.
