Visits and Changes

Kona arrived just in time for dinner. Don't have a photo of him yet. Each time he is doing something fun I am doing something without camera in hand. Can't win!

Here is a bunch of photos from today. One collection of Coco is a riot as she did the face smash, run into the cushion thing that the havanese are so famous for but she just looks adorable!

This was AFTER I brushed her. Don'y yopu wonder why I even try? I surely laughed!

Momma Panda play bowing with Clarity.

Odin LOVEs the cushions but I think all the havs do!

Doozie kept walking on the pool stairs today cooling off her feet just like Risa does!

Spice and Tiny playing!

Finn is such a riot. He really like the guys. He really really likes Ella but she is not here till Monday.

Its nice in the air conditioning today!

Can I swim instead of the show?

Run, Odin, Run!

Can I get up too?

We had a really really full day playing. Didn't click much but did capture some moments. Nathan was off a bit afternoon. He has one of my dryers and my bathing beauty. Oh my...heh

Love the collection of Coco photos. The face all messed up after sticking it under the pillows or the covers makes them look like they have been shocked.

Finn has such a cute look on his face. \looking around for a boost up on to the cushions perhaps.

Great photos today! Love the pics of Coco doing the face smash....I didn't know that's what you called it, and didn't know that the Havs are famous for it. Cooper does it once a day, always after his nap in the afternoon on the bed, or whenever he feels crazy, but seriously at least once a day! Runs into the pillows, hides his face under them and even throws the pillows on the floor sometimes! It's a riot to watch. So happy to know that it's a Havanese thing!!! I must get a video one day

Definitely a "Hav" habit. They seem to know they are cute after they a finished and look up at you. I call Kona crazy kookoo when he does it.

You got some great pics today, Darlah. The face plant is a riot, and Nice to see Clarity among them! What's a bathing beauty?

Maybe one day when you have nothing to do (just kidding!) you could do a chart showing which pups came when and from whom ... I think I have some of them sorted out and then find I've lost track again!

Loved the pictures. Love to see the fun they have. I want to play too. Big hug to all

Murphy's colouring seems similar to Coco's. As a matter of fact, I notice the one black ear thing on another visitor too!

June 25, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterSherry S

Doozie has the one ear thing going on. She lives with Coco. Doozie is from Spice's mom. Think as time goes on Murphy may have 2 ears with coouring but I will tell you for sure after her bath today.

Christine: Tell you what - at the picnic ask everyone what the parents are and write it down. hahahaha The chances that I would get to that project other than it being in my head is not great. I still have furniture to stain and doors inside to stain with a deadline and still it doesn't get done.

Today I have 2 dogs to wash and many dogs to comb out and of course photos. Its supposed to rain too and that %^$# exercise is a bit much as it takes any downtime away but we persist. Why can't we lose weight like guys?

A Bathing beauty is - http://www.bathingbeautypets.com/main_page.html - So instead I will take mixing bottles - large bought at Sallys and put a half an ounce of conditioner, half of an ounce of shampoo, add water, mix and squirt and pull through the hair. It will take me longer. Coverage is not as even so you have to do a lot of pulling through not rubbing as rubbing creates mats. I am thorough and will get the same result but it will take me longer. Some have made their own at a fraction of the cost thanks to Irma and Dick for their pdf found on our page with a how to build one at a fraction of the cost. One of my dryers is also with Nathan so I took my crate dryer, made room last night and hopefully that will work. I can't direct the heat like I can with my stand dryer so we shall see. I could have said no you can't have either but with Inula it would have been trying and besides he will only have 1 dryer. With 2 dryers it takes me an hour to dry her.Today Murphy and Kona, tomorrow Clarity. I on purpose said minimal bathing/cutting etc while he was gone.

Hi Christine, you can sort of create a sibling/parent chart yourself. Just go back through Darlah's blogs using the search feature available on this site with names of the bitches. You can see the litters that were born and follow them through the blog until they go home and then they get their forever names attached. It will take a while but that is what I do when I want to find out the siblings or parents of a specific doggie. I certainly have more time for this than Darlah does. And, I do it when I am interested in a specific dog.

Angela, I have also looked back into the history of specific dogs as you have suggested. It is fun to see them again as puppies.
