Picnic Photos & Details

The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Meet us at Woofstock. Dogs are welcomed. We meet at the restaurant across the street from Woodbine Park. Here is the location. Meet up happens on June 22, 2024 at 9:30 to 945am. New Issue

Look who is on the cover. This issue just came out today. Hope you enjoy. Blog is well just this as I have no clicks. Everyone is having a complete blast!

Christine Kreutzer shares a Nursing Home Story and Inge Shears writes about A Thanksgiving Feast. Suzanne McKay is back with a contribution called All the Same. “New Places, New Faces” continues the ongoing adventures of Lyndall Fry writing from the viewpoint of her dog, Saki. Wendy Allenby shares her Uniquely British Perspective while Kate Hamilton shares a story titled Nothing for Granted. Scott C. Tomassi sent in a wonderful article about the 2015 Morris and Essex Kennel Club Show. The Pox of Popular Sires is a thought provoking article by Carol Beuchat PhD. Pat Parkhouse sent in coverage of the 2016 Canadian National and Regional Specialty held in BC and Rita Thomas contributed an article titled Havanese and Autoimmune Problems. I shared a one page anonymous poem called Just a Dog and finally Know Your Responsibilities by Tom Wettlauffer.

Love this magazine and the fact that it is in pdf format means I can read it on my computer, tablet and phone. So I am never without something to read.
