Handling Class

Stone was a good boy. Sarah handled him for a few times and Nathan the rest of the time.

Trouble was Trouble. She bounced and tried to play with everyone and had a grand old time.

We didn't get home till very late so we walked in the door and then it was bedtime. <sigh>

Today is supposed to be the hottest July 13th ever. It's supposed to be cloudy but very hot. The dogs don't like it quite this hot. Even this morning they went out and wanted the air conditioning.

Don't walk your dogs today unless you do it very early or very late. Play fetch or something to stimulate their minds and expel energy but that cement will be way too hot on their pads.

So nice to see Sarah at handling classes. Very hot and humid here too, dare I say way too hot. No walks today for sure. Even us humans are only out with Coop for his business then back in. We've been playing the 'find it" game. A good way for Coop to get used to all the corners of his new home :-)) Stay cool!

Love Stone's colouring. Looks like he is an expert. Trouble seems to be a great name for that one. Love a dog who is outgoing even if it means a little extra work.
Stay inside or in the pool. It has been hot and muggy here in Winnipeg with rain showers. Wish we had a pool!

Abby and I are at the lake in Muskoka. I think we picked a good week to be here. Abby just loves cooling off in the water and drying herself on the dock. I must remember to brush her tonight!
Stay cool my friends!

Oh yes, it is hot alright. Took my two for a walk at 8:30 a.m. with lots of fresh water but it was still very humid even then. Only stayed out for half an hour and walked only in the shade. But, I am not sure we should have gone even then. It's so hard to know how much they can handle. Radar stopped and lay in the grass on his belly when it was too much, Patches sat and I gave them water and put water on their heads until they cooled off, then we continued on our way home. Oy!
